“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Pretty crazy backstory, but I had never been here before and my aunt won a contest to have a beer created and named after her rabbit.

We had a fairly large group there on release day, and the service was friendly and awesome.

I was particularly fond of their steel city lager, but the custom beer they made for my aunt was actually quite good. It was a cran-apple lager (which usually isn't my thing) but this one was quite drinkable.

The set-up in the back was quite picturesque. We were there in Mid-November, but I still found myself outside quite a bit enjoying the river views.

They had a partnership with a Kazak-guy in the kitchen who was another very nice fellow. I got his chicken parm sandwhich and it was 5 stars in itself. He came out and talked to us - Do not sleep on the food here.

I'm usually never in Verona, but this place in itself is a great reason to come back. It was a great day.“

“Great Food and Atmosphere, Some Service Concerns I recently moved to the Braddock Hills area and was excited to revisit this spot, which used to be Folie’s a few years back. The food here is absolutely delicious, and it’s the perfect place to grab a bite, enjoy a margarita, and relax. That said, I’ve had a few experiences with a particular staff member that were concerning. While most of the team has been friendly and welcoming, However, barmaid (JESS who served me February the 7th around 1:49 p.m.) has been noticeably short and dismissive on a couple of occasions. For example, there were times when she rolled her eyes or responded curtly when I greeted her, even though previous visits had been pleasant. I even had an instance where my drink was placed at the very edge of the bar in a way that felt intentionally difficult. I did call to bring this to the manager’s attention to address it, no and she allegedly answered the phone as the manager, and to my experience the manager is a gentleman as well as the owner. I wanted to share it here as well. I’ve spoken with other patrons who’ve noted that her personality can sometimes affect the overall experience. While I understand everyone can have an off day, consistent professionalism and courtesy are essential in customer service, especially in a neighborhood gem like this one. Overall, I truly enjoy this restaurant—the food, ambiance, and most of the staff make it a wonderful place. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fontana's Cafe, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible—some of the best I've had in a long time. The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, while the honey garlic salmon was exceptional and truly unforgettable. The menu offers something for everyone, and it's clear that quality and care go into every dish.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal with friends and family. To top it all off, the live music by Bare Bones Acoustics was fantastic and added so much to the evening's experience. The band created the perfect soundtrack for an already wonderful night.

“I would recommend them specifically for their beans and coffee. The last several of my orders over the course of weeks have not been great. The Mediterranean hummus wrap was filled with hummus and maybe 1 tomato slice and two olives. The wrap was old and cracking/hard. The buffalo chicken sandwich I had not long ago was a dry piece of breast with a squirt of sauce on top. Nothing like I’ve had in the past! Lastly, I went with my girls today and ordered kids tenders. One daughter received 8 pieces of the ends of a bag - popcorn chicken looking but barely any meat. The second daughter received 2 large tenders. My avocado toast? I have had better AT from Dunkin, this was not worth the cost at all. A few whole olives rolled off into the container, maybe 3 or so bits of tomato, 1 piece of what looked like microwave bacon. On “sourdough” but a thin type of bread I would see at a chain diner, soggy too. Just overall been disappointed. Apparently it isn’t just us, as the table beside us stated they come often and have quality issues. Sad because this was a delicious, awesome place for a long time! ❤️“

The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors makes it one of the best veggie pizzas I’ve had. It’s not just the food, either. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes you want to stay and enjoy yourself.
