“Wow! Amazing, incredibly good, heavenly food! This place is the best Italian I've had outside of New York and I would bet it could stand up to many a true Italian restaurant in Italy. The food is phenomenal. Everything is made to order and you can tell it. The margherita pizza was absolute perfection - thin with a "well done" crust, so nicely cooked that the slice stuck straight out & held its own weight, fresh mozzarella dressed across it with delectable hand-pressed fresh thick tomato sauce in the valleys between and just the right amount of basil for that earthy pop. The eggplant parm was delicious. The spaghetti alla panna was a rich & decadent sister to alfredo, but much more authentic tasting with just cream and Romano cheese folded together to create the noddle bathing sauce. The white pizza was one of the best things we had - with half topped with broccoli and half with spinach. The garlic was so fresh it just melted in your mouth with the mozzarella, ricotta and veggies. Again, the crust was dreamy - thin, crunchy & just perfect. We were so stuffed and took so much home in to-go containers but still wanted to try out a hoagie so we ordered one to go - simple ham and provolone and ate it the next day. My son and I agreed it's the best hoagie we've ever eaten. We can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu. The food is absolutely divine. And on top of the food, the place is adorably cute inside, very cozy and small and the waitress was so kind, helpful and sweet despite being so busy almost the entire time we were there. They had order after order after order coming through the door. They could barely keep up with the demand. If you're wanting authentic tasting Italian - whether dishes or pizzas or sandwiches - check them out and I bet you will leave with a smile on your face. We left full, smiling and eager for our next return.“
“We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wings with a 2 liter sprite, very simple. I can honestly taste and feel the love and the time they spent on my family's order. “It does not matter how many places we try, the Catty Corner is our go to neighborhood restaurant. It is not dark and dingy like Race Street, there isn't a young bartender with severe control issues like Hammerhead (she is really MEAN), and you don't feel like you are in a loud cave like Grove Street ALL while being ignored. The employees all say hello and smile (ALL ~ kitchen and counter staff, drivers, waitresses and bartenders, the owners). They consistently work together to ensure a satisfying experience and the food is great. Even the outside dj's are personable and bring a positive energy. More places should model the Catty Corner.“
“We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and helpful. Our drinks and appetizer came fast and our salads were served in a good interval of time. I think we waited for our entrees longer than I expected, but there were a number of larger groups in the restaurant, so maybe that was the reason. A tray of chicken parm, baked ziti and got a comp tray of garlic bread since I didn't get the discount I hoped for. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the pasta was cooked well. The service is great, the owner Jerry and his family are a delight to speak with and helpful. We felt like part of the fam since they are from Brooklyn, NYC. But months ago (told u I'm late lol) I had went in and ordered a cheese hoagie and I had em add some different veggies to it as well. Now it's a cheese hoagie first off, regardless or the veggie change. Anyway I go home and didnt eat right away til later that night. So I cut a small piece off since it was late, I was sitting with low light as well. I take a bite and that was like a mayo taste really couldnt taste much I take another bite and I'm like something tastes off, I open it up and there is meat on it!! Now I haven't eaten meat in YEARS, I'm proud of that and also my body doesn't accept it well. But luckily i only ate 2 small bites but i didnt get as sick as if I ate the whole thing but i did get a bad stomach ache. Now I couldnt call it was late and the next day was pouring rain and at that point even tho I live across the street lom I'm like screw it I gave the sandwich to my niece and called it a loss. I'm sure they would of fixed it but I just had alot going on. “They upgraded the whole place and it's just great. They got rid of the stage and put in large TVs. The seating areas are more comfy and clean. New games. New ticketing system. Only downfall is that you need over 1000 tickets in order to get something cool, otherwise your child has to pick from the small candy or toy selection. For $30, you get 1 hour of play time and of course there are other play time options from 30 min, 2 hours, etc. I've never done it by points because each game costs a specific amount of points, so if you go, I would suggest to do it by the hour. The only other downfall is that they are hardly staffed. That could be due to the volume of business but still, to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to order a pizza is too much. As for the food, I love me some chuck e cheese pizza. That garlic crust....hmmm hmmm. Rainy day? Perfect spot.“

“First time here for dine in. I came with my partner & three kids. We ordered their special 2 pies, garlic knots, and fountain drinks. The food was very good. They don’t have everything a restaurant needs to provide good service in order to dine in. The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest. The floors needed some cleaning. The trash can next to us had the lid break and the server picked up the lid with her hands then grabbed my drink and refilled it without ever stopping to wash her hands. I do like their food but maybe I’d recommend you do takeout and not dine in.“
