Working with Chris was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. His menu offered so many delicious options that I genuinely wanted everything! Thankfully, Chris took the time to understand what we were envisioning and made excellent recommendations that helped us create a menu perfect for our celebration.
The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests raved about it! The presentation was equally impressive, with beautifully arranged displays that complemented the elegance of the event.
I also appreciated Chris's attention to our dietary restrictions, particularly our request for dairy-free options. He accommodated our needs without sacrificing quality or flavor.

“We got married on 10/24/25 at The Waterfall and when i tell you how amazing this venue and their staff is, it would be an understatement. They went above and beyond for us and our guests from the time we showed up until we left after midnight. They even went to the extent of marking glasses that had alcohol in them so there wouldn’t be any accidents with our sober guests. I would choose this venue over and over again!“

Last minute had to plan an event, called and spoke with Mike the owner- I was frazzled and didn’t know what they could do with 4 days notice so I said “anything!” Within minutes Mike put together a suggestion with pricing and sent it over. Booked it next morning! Amazing prices, AMAZING food and great people!! They delivered and set up so nicely. Food received so many compliments and truly you get your money worth! SO much food! I have zero complaints!!“
“We had The Plum Pit food truck come to our house for our son’s birthday party and had such a great experience! They showed up right on time, were super friendly, and everyone at the party thought the food was amazing.
It was such a great alternative to cooking ourselves or having traditional catering, and the best part was there was essentially no cleanup afterward! Everything was easy from start to finish. We would definitely consider using The Plum Pit again for another party in the future. Highly recommend!“

“This company exceeded our expectations! We had to change venue, dates (twice) and our entire set up. Ted and his crew were AMAZING. They offered a full refund of our deposit given the circumstances with Covid which just made me want to use their services more. We ended up having him set up a mini food bar with desserts and shrimp/veggie shooters which were Covid friendly and delicious. They’re attention to detail, ability to adjust plans, and just overall kindness were refreshing. If I need anything catered in the future, I will be using them again.“

“We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. Planning a wedding can be very anxiety producing, but Drew made the catering part of it as easy as can be. The guests are still raving about the food!“

“Ordered the lamb shanks with risotto and the pasta with mussels, clams, shrimp and calimari. The food was phenomenal, well seasoned and packed with flavor. One thing kept this from being a 5 star review....the bread. I wanted to sop up all of that delicious seafood broth but the bread was not edible. Think Olive Garden breadsticks, but WAY worse. Chalky, flavorless, horrible texture. So bad that I told the server not to bring anyone else that bread for the rest of the evening.“

“I can’t say enough about Mr. Marino and his wife, Paula and of course their friendly staff. They were so accommodating and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch! The food was delicious and everyone had a great time. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Marino for making our night one to remember!“
