“There’re small details that totally win me over, such as the complimentary pot of good hot tea, the small condiment dishes at the table to mix your own dipping sauce just as in Vietnam ❤️, their chili paste ? and their side mixed veggies (so fresh and clean)Main thing, food is tasty and authentic. Pho’s meat cuts are on point, broth is flavorful. Recommend Bun Bo Hue here.Every time I come, I will get their custard bao bun if available, it’s very good! They’ll help to heat up for you if you want to eat some over-the-counter treats.Last time I had the best service with the most accommodating staffs. Will definitely come back for more!“
“Wow- talk about an absolutely delicious and delightful dining experience! Corey and his wife are not only crafty, but creative, curious, confident, and cutting-edge with their French-Viet fusion of ingredients, flavors, presentations, and service. They invite you in with wide open arms and make you feel like you are part of their family! Extremely kind, humble, and fun people! One of the best dining experiences we have had from start to finish and one you certainly do not want to miss! We definitely will be back! Be sure to try the BBQ pork!“
“I ate a lot of pho back in Southern California as I lived near Little Saigon. Also traveled to Vietnam. This is some of the best pho that I've had around here. Really nice people, too. Prices were super reasonable. Definitely will come back.“
“Excellent food!!! The flavor was perfect and the service was welcoming & friendly. We are from out of town and needed my Bahn mi fix and this place accomplished it above my expectations- THANK YOU!Even for my husband who is a picky eater when it comes to Asian food he was commenting on how good it was.Definitely will return while we are here visiting.Only the best to all of you at Bistro SouthEast??“
“Very nice quiet atmosphere. Very peaceful and I loved seeing the daughter and Mom duo. It's was refreshing to see considering I brought my daughter along with me. The Boba my daughter ordered wasn't sweet to her liking, and she was going to add additional sugar, however the owner called my daughter over to fix the drink. It's the little things and this business has it! ❤️“
“Amazing!!!!! The pho and ramen were perfect, this is my favorite spot in philly for a noodle soup. The owner was so sweet too and she gave us excellent service. The place is very small and cozy but so cute! Highly recommend, a hidden gem! They also deliver on all the big food delivery service apps and it's always fresh and delicious!“
“forget the ambience; it's sketchy in the best way... we've ordered bahn mi twice now and they were consistent, fairly priced, and delicious... tonight we got pho for take-out and it was fantastic... the scalding hot broth comes separate from the noodles and any proteins to be poured over top once you're ready. the hot sauce is hot and the jalapeños are not your baby-stuff-for-babies. these folk will stay on our list.“
“It took me too long to get here, but I’ll be back very soon! An order of super flavorful shaking beef vermicelli contained a generous portion of tender meat (as well as noods and toppings). The crispy spring rolls were light and flaky, and the wings were killer — meaty, crispy, and delicious. The fish sauce bangs and I could drink it. They do not play games at this gem! There is a lot of love put into the food, and the people are so kind-hearted.“
“The food here is overall very good. The green curry is spot on, I think we got medium spiciness which was perfect. The massaman was only OK, not authentic, I won’t order it again. The staff are lovely. I haven’t eaten in so can’t comment on the atmosphere.“
“This place has been solid for a long time. They have a pretty large footprint for the area. Service is fast. Pho is great. House Vermicelli is great. Love the option to easily add items to your dish for a small charge. I don’t do any cocktails or drinks here tho. Parking always seems just sufficient so you can get in right away and enjoy.“
“This place was a blessing in disguise. With the change in season, I was down with a bad flu and I really wanted some soup to make me feel better. I went into this place wanting some help and they were awesome! They suggested the right kind of soup and threw in a couple bonus ingredients to help me with my flu! They are kind people and I highly recommend this place!“
“Small, cozy Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the pork chop rice special. It was great. There was also a duck noodle soup that looked and smelled so good but couldn't get to it. Service was great. They put tables together to accommodate our party or 6. Plenty of street parking outside on a Sunday.“
“No dine in, takeout only with a few outside tables. The bahn mi and the pho were yummy! We will order from there again. The fried pork dumplings were divine! I could have eaten 10 of them. The spring rolls had huge leaves of mint or Thai basil in them and it was way too much. Not sure if that is the traditional way to make them or what but I’ve never had a spring roll that tasted like that before. I couldn’t finish.“
“We ordered the Classic banh mi, popcorn chicken, and furikake fries. The banh mi was solid, but nothing stood out to me. I would like to try some of their other banh mi in the future. The popcorn chicken was lightly breaded and juicy on the inside. It tasted like Bare Chicken Nuggets from Costco. It was a great vessel for the honey mustard. The serving size seemed a bit small and I would have preferred if they were more seasoned. The fries were okay. The furikake seasoning didn't stick to the fries very well and the seasoning has a very light flavor. I think the fries rely on sauces for flavor, and the spicy ketchup was just okay. I would like to try the spicy mayo or viet mayo next time.Overall a solid experience. Nothing blew me away, but I would go back to try the other banh mi.“
“Food is very good. We ordered the Pho, some appetizers, and a Vietnamese hoagie.Definitely get the Pho while you are there! It is absolutely delicious. The Vietnamese hoagie was more of a play on a hoagie than a bahn mi, but still pretty good. It could be elevated by more/better cuts of meat. The staff is incredibly friendly. We will definitely be coming back :)“
“I love Pho Street. First time at this location. I usually go to the Arch St location. This place is a lot larger. The self order doesn't seem as intuitive compared to the other location. But the food is just as amazing! And the portion sizes are huge! Such a cozy warm meal every time.“
“Food is amazing so is the service. Shout out to our waitress who came to our rescue anytime we needed help, especially with the bottle of wine! We ordered the winter flounder, shaken beef, and crepes. Our waitress also recommended us to try the egg fried rice, which I am glad we took her suggestion on! The grains of rice were coated with salted egg yolk. Flounder was a little dry and very fun to eat since you create your own summer rolls. Our waitress was super attentive and tending to all our needs before we even waved her over. She's really quick with her service, when we dropped our chopsticks she had already brought us a new pair before we got her attention. Waters were always filled too. With every dish she brought out, she explained each dish and how to properly eat it, which we loved since we would've never thought to use the wraps for the fish.1 star for the atmosphere because the music was loud and we were sitting at the window/patio area. Music is very loud when there were barely any other tables, probably around 3-5 excluding us. We could barely hear each other talk with the music. To make it worst, we were able to hear screaming and yelling from the kitchen lady. We walked by to the restroom to check out the kitchen, which is cool since you can see them prepare all the food. But as an open kitchen you can hear everything. It was highly unprofessional to hear screaming during our visit. We could also tell that the other customers were kind of troubled by it too since everyone was dead silent when it was happening.Overall, the experience was amazing provided with the excellent service. We do plan to come again, but hopefully the next time we do not hear yelling.“
“I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up. The food was incredible, spicy enough to warm you from the inside and so very flavorful. I will definitely be back.“
