“Outstanding tour! Chris was an excellent guide and did a fantastic job walking us through the microbrewing process from start to finish. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand while still going into enough depth to keep even the more experienced folks in our group engaged. A few people with us are pretty knowledgeable about microbrewing, and Chris still managed to impress them with his expertise and enthusiasm. He made the whole experience fun, informative, and memorable. Highly recommend the tour. And, if you get Chris as your guide, you’re in for a great experience!“

“I frequent this restaurant often. I came in last week and requested a few items substituted on my salad due to dietary restrictions. Toi ensured that my food came out correctly and didn’t make it seem like I was asking for too much (unlike serves in the past)! Now that’s GREAT service! She also is hilarious and she is a ball of energy! I will be back soon, and I only want Toi as a server moving forward! Thank you again, Toi!“
“We rented Back Alley Brewing for a shower, and it was perfect! Lots of natural light, lots of tables, the cutest greenery draped across the ceiling, super friendly staff that was wonderful to work with, pretty affordable. Highly recommend! And I know I already said this, but Lee was just great to work with. He was responsive to emails, easy-going, and friendly. We rented out the right side of the brewery, which is a pretty segmented off room (but without doors). Our group was just under 40 people, and it was comfortable.“

“Cool little brewery with a nice atmosphere. Lots of eye candy on the walls to read. There is also a nice game wall with some old retro games, which was super fun. Nice beer selection and different styles available. They advertise local restaurants you can order from, and they had some small snacks behind the bar.“

“I wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Recon. We had a get together there to visit my daughter and her children while they were in town. I originally thought we would have 20 people, but it was more like 25. We are a big, noisy family and they were wonderful! The food and drinks were amazing! Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional! Thank you for a fun day!!“

“Quite possibly the best beer in western PA. A quiet and small spot. Perfect if you want a good beer and want to chill. Cute area in general. Dogs are generally ok but consider the small space and whether your dog can handle the space. There is a little outdoor area in the back.“
“My husband and I are so, so happy we came across Rusty Gold Brewing while in town. The beer and food was fantastic. Best of all was the service! We hope to make it back soon.“

“Very good experience. Heather, our server, was excellent, even on a very busy night. Food was good, except ribs were a little tough. The price was great, we had a couple of the specials. Don't expect quiet though, it gets quite noisy in there. But the value was outstanding.“
