“Delicious food by a wonderful local family!“

“First time at Acclamation Brewing – went there primarily to see highly talented and whimsical Adorabulls band perform. What an outstanding experience all around! Brought along my dog, whom the kind owner treated like royalty – offered her a treat, freshened her water and gave her some quality attention while my friend and I enjoyed excellent pizza offered on the menu. It is a beautiful venue where one can take in the riverside view. Everyone there was friendly and relaxed. Five stars and then some. Will definitely return!“

“I had an event at the Verona tap room last night and it was amazing. Jennifer and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. We booked the tap room for 30 people and had plenty of space. They spun my vinyl records, played a movie that went along with the theme of my party and created a signature cocktail for my guests. I would strongly recommend having any of your functions at Inner Groove brewery.“

“Absolutely obsessed.  Homemade, house-smoked barbeque.   The owners and staff are extremely sweet and friendly.  They do have indoor and outdoor seating which is super nice in the warmer months.  They do close in the one area for additional seating and have heaters so it’s not too cold! The flavor, spices and way the items were prepared with absolutely delicious.  The meat melts right in your mouth.  Tried the wings- three jumbo smoked whole wings. They are slow cooked & flash fried. The pulled pork sandwich was incredible- slow smoked pork, tossed in a house Carolina cider mop piled on top of a Breadworks bun and Pittsburgh pickles. The brisket is a slow smoked Texas style brisket and we tried that on top of the creamy Mac and cheese. WOW- the brisket was so tender. And of course had to try their corn bread. Which came hot and totally hit the spot.“

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. Food was great will definitely be a return customer“

We love celebrating here, stopping after Kennywood, coming as soon as they open up to beat the line/crowd, and any time in between. “I came in for a cup of ice and was curious of what drinks were available and their benefits. Jayna was extremely helpful n kind and walked me through taste tests of each juice and I believe I have found a fave don’t stop the beet and house mylk.( yes spelled that way). “This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. “Just tried this place for the first time today with a friend who has been before. Awesome hole in the wall type of place, decorated with awesome artwork and vintage star wars collectibles. Music was choice. I was happy when Weird Fishes by RadioHead started playing. The person working told me the name of the radio station that he plays, which I didn't quite catch, but he was very kind. Got a great cold brew with almond milk and lavender syrup. And I tried my first Banh Mi Sandwich that happened to be the vegan tofu variety. When I tell you it an explosion of fresh flavors and textures. So delicious and refreshing on a hot day. Savored every bite. My friend got her usual BLT with vegan bacon, which she loves. We were talking about how normally bread feels like a waste of calories when it is not that good. But even the bread was devine ciabata. Haha, definitely this place out!“

“Love this place! The space is amazing with huge outdoor/indoor seating and nice big circular bar. They have a great variety of styles - all were great. You can try a bunch of 10oz pours or stick with 16oz. Their merch is really nice too! I can see myself coming here again and again; definitely one of the more notable Pittsburgh breweries.“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). I recommend Delanie's to everyone in hopes of it becoming their favorite spot too!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I've never had a bad cup of coffee from Harvest Moon. In fact, it's the best around. But I do have to say that every employee that I have met, is very sweet and friendly. “Update: Recently, I’ve noticed a couple times that the chai chai chai has been served lukewarm, which is a bit disappointing. It’s definitely more yummy and enjoyable hot.

Previously: I enjoy Dobra Tea for its diverse international teas and tasty snacks. The cozy ambiance and unique interior design are a plus, but it can get a bit too crowded and noisy during busy times, which isn't my preference. The masala chai is delicious. A great spot to chill with friends or a partner, though I'd recommend avoiding peak hours for a more relaxed experience. Overall, I'd definitely go back.“

Called ahead to see if they sell by the slice (they do) a wonderfully kind women answered the phone and took my order. ~15 mins later I’m enjoying warm custom made pizza slices. Reminds me of the cherished ‘galaxy’’ pizza I used to get growing up.

“My husband and I stopped by yesterday with our young autistic son. We gave the staff a heads up that eating inside may or may not work depending on our son and how he was able to handle it. The people were so kind, understanding, and accommodating and did everything they could to try to make our visit possible. From giving us the choice of where we'd feel most comfortable to sit, to offering cartoons and crayons. They even made up a batch of fries before we came in so our son would have something to eat as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately we weren't able to eat inside but we did get our food to go and it was delicious. Being the parent of an autistic child can be challenging, and it makes all the difference in the world to feel like there are people who care. They absolutely made our day. Thank you so so much.“

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.“

With complimentary pool tables and darts and a nice mix of eclectic beers and rustic simple tables it is the epitome of laid-back cool! “I love this place! I was in Pittsburgh for a work thing, and this bar was around the corner from my hotel. The atmosphere is amazing. It's a neighborhood bar where everyone seems to know each other. I love that it's not one of these places that tries to be all fancy and stuff. If you want to avoid those type of places, I highly recommend Birmingham Bridge Tavern. The food is damn good too! I recommend the fish sandwich and the Pittsburgh reuben. Drink well, eat well, and hang out with real people! Thank you BBT for an awesome Pittsburgh experience!“
