The chimichanga is huge, full of meat and delicious! The owner gave me a chicken empanada and also would recommend it. Full of meat from corner to corner and very flavorful.The best in the area! The tres leches dessert was also amazing!! Recommended 100%. Excellent service and delicious and fresh food!! Thanks for the amazing treatment!!“

“On the way to Becky’s Drive In we discovered this restaurant. I can’t express how much we loved it. The wait staff were attentive, caring and informative on specials and menu items. The draft list was extensive, including local favorites as well as seasonal specials. There is a whole candy bar dedicated to toppings for their cocktails and sangria flights(love). I had the rosemary French onion soup & sriracha ranch chicken wings with local honey added to the sauce. The soup was hands down the best I have ever had and the wings were cooked perfectly and coated in sauce. I loved my time here!“

“We just stopped here for breakfast while in Allentown. Well worth the drive past a few other diners. This quaint stop is cozy with a friendly staff. We had excellent service sitting at the bar. I had the Taylor Pork Roll sandwich with a hash brown patty. My wife had a dippy egg with their addictive home fries. Nice place.“

“The burgers and the sushi were very very good. The sushi is made fresh and is as good or better as a sushi restaurant. Burger was cooked perfectly as I like it and very tasty. Highly recommend and our server was sweet and very efficient and knew about how the food is prepared. The manager Todd was really nice.“

“Out of all the eateries in the greater Slatington area, SMT has got to be the highest of my recommendations. the place is absolutely fantastic, in both food and service. Not only is it a rustic bar complete with trivia nights and a pool table, but everything is delicious and always served with the highest priority of the customer's requests. “This Applebee's is usually very dependable. Our visit on 1-7-25 was a 4. Our server, Jacklyne was great. Very socialable, attentive made a good drink. Meal was delivered quickly and was good for the most part. Chicken was a little overcooked with made it a little dry and tough. This was kind of surprising because they were not that busy. We like this Applebee's so this one visit will not deter us.......but it's a 4 this time.“

“It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“Fun restaurant with random nicknacks everywhere. Your eyes will wander around the whole time you are there. A cute dog is the official greater. The food was decent enough that I would come back while in town. The frozen party drinks served in over sized cups hit the spot. My daughter loved her pasta and chicken wings, the wife was happy with her salmon with baked potato, and I ordered the ribs and actually liked it better than the past few times I've ordered ribs at random establishments that offer it. Chocolate cake and berry pie were enjoyable. If busy the gentleman that was working there is definitely hustling and doing his best to keep up. So be patient. Enjoy.“

The staff amazing(shout out especially to Holly and her handcrafted shrubs!) The only reason I was willing to leave Jim Thorpe was because I had a loaf of wonderful to take home and toast for breakfast Monday morning. Looking forward to our next visit to town even more now!“

“My wife Brenda and I were privileged to eat tonite at the Beltzville Bar and grill. I had egg plant Parmesan platter. It came out hot, beautifully place on a large white plate. The pasta sauce was an Italian delight. I am guessing homemade by Deana. The egg plant was fresh cut and lightly breaded. The garlic bread had a die for buttery garlic seasoning. The salad was fresh cut served in a 1/2 bell pepper. The greens were varied and of a five Star restaurant quality. The pasta was Al dente firm with a tender texture. Not soft and mushy like so many places today. I also had 2 dozen clams - cooked to perfection with browned drawn butter. My beverage was Miller Lite in a tall neck bottle served in a chilled frosted glass. Our server was outstanding and helpful during our entire meal. I am sorry I forgot the nice young ladies name.“

“This bar is like 2 miles off of main St in Palmerton. Looks like a converted house from outside but inside is very nice even cozy. Service was excellent and food was good place was clean. “Started to become a regular at the Boatyard, avoided for along time because of a misrepresentation of the establishment from years past that just no longer should be considered. Let’s start with the staff and owners very professional, fun and caring they make you feel welcomed anytime you walk in. Honestly you can tell the staff are like family and you just feel like you’re apart of it when you’re here. The food portions and pricing is great not many places in the area can you get a portion where you feel you got your money worth the fact the pricing isn’t tremendous makes it more attractive. The quality of the food is great rotating specials lets you try new things which are always cooked right. You are missing out not trying the boatyard at least once.“

“Stopped here on our way home from our trip to Jim Thorpe PA and it is the cutest place with a VERY extensive menu for old fashioned sodas and ice cream with a candy shop section as well. They have chalkboard tables to keep the kiddos entertained. Highly recommend this pit stop if you are in the area!!!“
