“From the time I decided To walk in and get a pastry and something hot to drink, I was in love with it. It’s my favorite place to go to after work with friends. It’s a nice place to unwind and pull out your laptop and work as well. Love the Hot dog donut!!!! And the brownies.“

“This spot is the definition of elevated diner food and feels like a true neighborhood staple. The atmosphere is bright and clean, and it's great to see a local hangout where the staff actually knows the regulars by name. We loved the Tri-Fecta. The waffle had a perfect crunch on the edges and the pancakes were incredibly fluffy without being doughy. Also, don't sleep on the full-bodied coffee or the Morning Meditation Juice for a serious energy boost. Just be sure to get in early since it fills up fast!“

“Had a great lunch on Tuesday. Food was great & our server Debbie was amazing. Debbie was competent & very personable. Restaurant was busy but Debbie was attentive & kept track of each table. Hope to visit again soon.“

“This is one of my favorite places to go for brunch! Their selections include something for everyone including sweet selections as well as choices on the more healthy side (but still delish!). I always treat myself to a French press coffee, it's amazing!“

“Karla catered a baby shower for us and the food was absolutely delicious and was presented beautifully!! Everyone kept saying how much they loved it! Karla is wonderful to work with. She has a true gift and I highly recommend her! Natalie brought and set up the food and was our server. She was wonderful!“

“Food won’t wow you but is really good especially for a chain breakfast/lunch spot. Prices were reasonable. Service was to the point and not over the top. Food came out fairly quickly.
We had two options from the spring specials menu: the BEC (4/5) and the bacon Cheese Corn Bread (5/5)
We also ordered from the regular menu the Power Wrap (4/5) and Cheesy Grits (4/5). Got the pancakes but took them to go (4/5)“

“Bread & Butter Philly is my wife’s and my absolute favorite breakfast spot! We order from here every weekend, especially on Sundays, and the food and customer service never disappoint. The staff is always so friendly, and it’s always nice to see Jenny and the team each week. The food is consistently delicious, and it’s always hard to choose between the breakfast platter and breakfast burritos because everything is always on point! Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Philly, where you’re always greeted with a smile! Highly recommend Bread & Butter Philly!“

“So happy I stumbled into Sunnyside for breakfast! This is a local spot, no frills and nothing fancy but delicious wholesome breakfast food that hits the spot. The creamed chipped beef, scrapple, omelettes and grits are all delightful and fairly priced. If you're looking for a place to instagram and post, this is not the spot - but if you're a real person looking for some real good food in the area, definitely check it out.“

“I’ve done both dine in and take out. Small local business with limited seating. Very clean, Quality food for a very reasonable price. The sever is a sweetheart and very personable.
FYI most of the bad reviews I read are from like 7 years ago. They may have new management.“
