People at tables look around like why. He climbs around on the overhead shelves like a monkey. He’s constantly yelling and banging on things. “Our evening couldn't have been any more delightful. Our bourbon manhattans were exceptional as usual. For appetizers,the 6 of us tried the roast oysters, risotto and the salad options. Most of us had the signature pork chop, which was perfect for the rather cold night. My wife had the cod, which has become her favorite. The other member of our group had the rack of lamb, which was cooked to perfection. Our server, Aileen goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We will definitely return to try some of the other menu suggestions. Thank you Chef Chris for another fine dining experience.“

Classic normal menu, classic normal service. Everything you would expect at a Friendly’s. And that’s key on what I base my reviews on: expectations and reality.

There was something I really didn’t like though. The salt and pepper shaker were ugly and red (see attached photo). I didn’t like looking at them and it didn’t ruin my experience but it was a hindrance.

On the other side of things, the Fribble was Fribbletastic. Like what even is a fribble. Super weird. But that thing was good. I even told the waiter that it was fribbletastic and he agreed.

[Love the staff] It’s still our go to place when we’re looking for a comfortable place for a bite or takeout. [Try the pizza] Even though it is under new management it still has maintained that atmosphere that makes you feel welcome anytime you walk in.“

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. “This is a sort of hidden gem which initially brought us in with their gluten free fries, a bowl of warmed/seasoned olives (no longer offered) & a nice Mediterranean salad with some grilled chicken. But what keeps us ALWAYS going back are the amazing the bartenders who take great care of us! Without them I doubt we would have gone back during some hiccups in food availability. “My friends and I go to karaoke almost every Sunday. We always have a good time?drinks are reasonably priced, and the other patrons are usually super friendly.We love the staff, we love Rick the regular DJ and we never feel unsafe at this bar. The regulars welcome new comers very easily ?✨️? and everyone gets a chance to sing as long as Rick is In charge of the roster.The bartender is a stand up guy too. This passed Sunday, closer to 2am, (6/19) a belligerent drunk started to say all sorts of ugly things about the LGBTQIA+ and black people. As soon as the bartender was made aware, he quickly told that "man" and his friends to get out.The regular DJ, Rick is currently on his vacation and his fill-in apparently shares the opinion of the disgusting bigot, my friends heard him say "I don't care about all that juneteenth stuff, I just don't want *them* near my car."I don't know who this dj thought his audience was, but that kind of comment is not appreciated. “This Applebee’s is one of my local haunts, and it’s significantly improved in quality and in terms of atmosphere since Gerald started - he greets customers professionally and with a friendly demeanor.
