“We went for Christmas and had a 5 star experience. The service and food were excellent. Our server Adam was so personable. The atmosphere was the best part. It was warm and cozy, decorated beautifully, and so fun! I even met George Washington after he crossed the Delaware.“

House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. “By my 5 star review, obviously I love this place. Asparagus soup - superb Pasta dish - perfect Entree of veal chop - great - was hard to decide between the chop and the lamb. I had the lamb before and it was delicious! AND - a BYOB. Just eat here and you won't be disappointed.“

“Quite simply The Blue Bottle has the best cuisine of any restaurant in the area that I live. And there are quite a few good ones. The only problem I have with them most often is getting a reservation on the weekend. I also have a problem managing culinary heat [a physical rather than a gastronomic one] and I wish I could tolerate more of it in some of their creations. I really recommend the place.“

“I attended a work holiday dinner here. I've never been here before. Everything was very good. I didn't care for my veggies. Some a little overcooked, and my Brussel sprouts were hard. My filet was delicious and cooked to perfection with a delicious little sauce. My mashed potatoes were also very good. The service was exceptional, and drinks were very generous. I can't comment on the price/value since I never saw the bill, but I would definitely recommend!!“

“I don't want to bash a business especially since my feedback is specific to me being a vegetarian but last night's dinner was a disappointment (the only time I've been disappointed at Bowman's). We typically grab lunch or dinner a few times a year at Bowman's. We stopped for dinner last night and it seemed like there were less vegetarian options than the last time I was there. I ordered a veggie burger substitution for the $20 burger and was charged $24. It seems silly to charge an extra 20% considering the most expensive part of a burger is the actual beef burger. I'll check the menu every so often if there's any new vegetarian entrees but in the meantime, it's going to be a while before we go back to Bowman's which is a bummer because we've always liked it. Go elsewhere if there's a vegetarian in your group.“

“Victoria was awesome as our server! I had the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp with a side of broccoli and Backyard Blackberry Lemonade and they were amazing. My mom and I also had the Lava Cake for dessert. It’s huge and very rich, so keep that in mind when ordering after dinner. My dad had the brownie bite and it was the cutest little dessert but he said it was the perfect size after eating dinner.“

“My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed everything… started off with the clams casino and burrata/tomato salad, 8 oz filet (cooked perfectly!) and finished off with the crème brûlée. “This unassuming cafe is on the lower level of the Carteret Arms apartments. The residence is a place for the elderly and thus the hours are a bit wonky. Provided you want a meal before 6pm, this should be a go-to spot. \n\nEverything is delicious. They lean towards fried foods, but have a great selection of seafood dishes and grilled options. Neighborhood favorites include the island pasta, which is close to divine. \n\nOn this visit we tried the grilled chicken sandwich and the blackened sandwich, both of which hit the spot. Good greens and cabbage, too. The owner makes homemade desserts. There are a variety of soft drinks and it is otherwise BYOB. \n\nThere is a small area for dining if you want to eat in.“

[Love the staff] It’s still our go to place when we’re looking for a comfortable place for a bite or takeout. [Try the pizza] Even though it is under new management it still has maintained that atmosphere that makes you feel welcome anytime you walk in.“

“Nubia (manager) and her staff are lovely and the flavors/variety are impressive! It’s great to have a place like this on campus - a nice mix of faculty/staff and students use this for lunch. It’s a mix of buffet style with a formal dining room experience (wait staff for drinks and busking the tables). Nubia really makes you feel at home! Go check it out. All for about $10!“

We always have a good time?drinks are reasonably priced, and the other patrons are usually super friendly.We love the staff, we love Rick the regular DJ and we never feel unsafe at this bar. The regulars welcome new comers very easily ?✨️? and everyone gets a chance to sing as long as Rick is In charge of the roster.The bartender is a stand up guy too. This passed Sunday, closer to 2am, (6/19) a belligerent drunk started to say all sorts of ugly things about the LGBTQIA+ and black people. As soon as the bartender was made aware, he quickly told that "man" and his friends to get out.The regular DJ, Rick is currently on his vacation and his fill-in apparently shares the opinion of the disgusting bigot, my friends heard him say "I don't care about all that juneteenth stuff, I just don't want *them* near my car."I don't know who this dj thought his audience was, but that kind of comment is not appreciated.
