“Happy Hot Doggin' Saturday food crew! Today's show takes me back to a place I went to when I first started food blogging. Now back then I was looking to do a breakfast so I walked in and ordered my breakfast started doing my thing and the lady who was the waitress was pretty rude, I did not feel welcomed in any way so I have not returned until now. Now recently on Facebook I read in some food groups that they have really good chili dogs so I compromised and did a take out review. I spoke to the one employee who sounded like she was having some issues and needed to speak with the cook. Now the cook was very pleasant and welcoming. She asked me if I was familiar with their take out window which I was. She told me to come right over and she would have my order ready. I got three dogs, one mustard and relish and two were chili mustard and onions. Now first thing I noticed is they slice the dogs down the middle which a few other places I have noticed they do this as well. The relish dog was very delicious, the relish had a sweet taste to it. The chili dogs had a good blend of the mustard, onions, and the chili sauce. The sauce was more on the meaty side with not being over spiced but had a great taste to it. The dogs had a good bun to dog ratio and all three were very delicious. I recommend for all of you to try some yourself. Now visit their Facebook Page or give them a call to hear their hours. “Best bbq in NEPA. Usually get their brisket sliders at the Tomato Fest but went to the actual restaurant today and got enough food for lunch and dinner. So many sauces to choose from for whatever type of meat you get, and their mac and cheese is some of the best mac I've ever had as “
“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)“
“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.“

“My clients wanted lunch from this location, so we decided to get it. The order was called in. I got the french bread pizza for myself. When I arrived, I parked in the private lot. I walked into a small, cute restaurant. I was greeted and the food was ready so I paid and left. When I dug in, surprisingly, the french bread pizza was a decent size for the low price. I dug in, and it wasn't bad at all. My clients like their food as well. All in all I had a good experience!“

“I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews and had a craving for a poke bowl. I went with rice, broccoli, brussell sprouts, chicken, and tuna poke. I really enjoyed the rice, broccoli, chicken, and poke, although the poke upcharge was pricey and the brussell sprouts were tougher than I expected. I got takeout, which was super convenient with online ordering and quick pickup service.“

“This place will always hold a special place in my heart as it was where I proposed to my girlfriend. Every time since then we have had such a great experience. I believe it truly stems from the management. On every occasion, the manager has come out to check on our meals and just share some small talk. It always sets the tone for a very pleasant experience. The food is by far the best in the region. We had the steak and the roasted chicken during our last visit and it was truly delicious. The in house tiramisu and cocktails are also top notch. “What's up food crew, today I am at a place I have been trying to get to for a long time. This being Bobby O's. Now they offer a nice variety of food to eat, today it's all about the dogs. In the first segment I am at the diner where I am Hot Doggin' NEPA style where we celebrate the hot dog and not rate the hot dog. This is a berk's dog where I tried the bacon and cheese, this was very tasty, the cheese was a liquid cheese and they used bacon bits compared to just putting bacon strips on the dog. My second dog was the chili dog where the chili had a nice taste, my only critique is they just threw on big ass chunky onions, personally I like a finer chopped onion, The one employee agreed with me. Now in the second segment I brought home their Italian hoagie to eat later on. Now I must make a retraction from the video. Now I ordered their hoagie as like it comes just with sweet peppers and no hot. I also asked for mayo no dressing, now does this sound like a difficult request. Well, it must have because not only did they put the dressing on it, they put the mayo as well. UGH!!!! Now what I wanted to avoid happened, I had a soggy sandwich. Overall besides that mess up this was a packed hoagie, meats, cheese, soft bread, minus the soggy parts that is. They still get a big thumbs up and recommend to all to check them out. “I used to go to Coney Island frequently until I moved out of state. I brought my family there to eat a while back, and we were not disappointed. The Texas wieners were as good as ever! Their sauce is the greatest thing ever cooked on a stove. I have lived in Texas for the past 25 years, and I haven't found a restaurant that even comes close to Coney Island wieners. They are a Scranton institution that you must visit! Go! Right now!!“

“Had a great dinner here after a basketball game at holy rosary. Those who got burgers enjoyed them and the house fries were delicious. Tater tots were very different from store bought and not a hit with kids (looked more like hush puppies). I sincerely appreciated that they had GF items labeled on the menu. “Best place I've been to in Scranton!! The price is definitely worth it!!! They serve you A LOT! So just have that in mind. It'd be best if you have someone to share.The chilaquiles ARE spicy so beware. But man, they are good! The chicken and meat are absolutely perfect. Other places give you old meat where you can taste it has been sitting for a while. Not Yankee Taqueria. The eggs were fried to perfection.The muffin and bagel were toasted so beautifully. I'll try their technique when I get home.The Cecina in the platter was very juicy and tender. Rice was very fluffy.The burrito, I could barely finish half. IT IS STUFFED!! “SO GOOD! It's a small cafe with seating inside, but I ordered take out. I got the meat stromboli, and it was full of flavor and I even had leftovers. I even got non-vegans to eat the buffalo and bbq wings and they liked them! Highly suggest this place, especially in an area where there aren't that many vegan options / restaurants.“
“My dad was celebrating his retirement and wanted to have the family together for dinner. He reserved a private room that seats 8. This was around the holidays. They had the table set beautifully with their holiday menus already waiting for us. A few of us tried their holiday cocktails and some stayed with the regular menu but both were delicious. We had a wide range of food choices across the table and everyone had great things to say. When time for dessert, we all opted for something different. “What a hidden gem! Going to Rich's is like taking a step back in time and feels so homey and cozy. I took a friend who was visiting from one of the biggest foodie cities in the US, and he still raves about how perfect and fluffy his pancakes were! I definitely recommend them. “Welcome to my next review. This is Torony's Giant Hot Dogs! Now this is not the original location. If you are from the area back in my youth, this being the late 70's and early 80's, they were located on the corner of route 315 and jumper road in Plains. Speaking with the owner today I was told when PennDOT widened Jumper Road they were forced to move. After that they relocated to a building on Main Street not too far from the arena. Now as the owner told me the second location just didn't work out, so they eventually moved to the current location. Now as per the video it's a nice size location, not too big or too small. As I walked in I did speak with the owner off camera and explained why I do food reviews and in my own way help supporting the locals. Now as per the footlongs, I got one with just mustard and onions, and the other with everything being the mustard, onions, and the sauce. Now for the dogs, I didn't taste a snap, but these were grilled nicely, you got a good number of toppings, the chili had a unique taste, different from all the others. Now they do offer fries and burgers and other items but today it's all about the dogs. When we go Hot Doggin' we don't rate the hot dog we celebrate the hot dog with those awesome condiments. But I’m really writing this review because our server was exceptional. Im a mother of 3. My oldest being 10 & youngest being 11 months old. I’ve never had a server care about my dining experience as much as she did. I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name. She had longish blonde hair maybe and was a little older(no disrespect). She was genuinely worried about my husbands latte going cold while he walked our son. She seen him fussing when our food came and she offered to bounce him around while we ate. Lastly I had left half of my coffee on the table because I was in a rush to get the baby out and to my absolute surprise she ran it out in a to go cup! I didn't know it was possible to put burgers, tacos, and pierogi's on the same menu, so good for them. However, the food was great, as we tried the wings and burger. “Went for lunch on Father's day and didn't have to wait for a table at the bar, which was fine because my Dad and brother loved playing the games while waiting for our food. I ordered the turkey wrap and it was gigantic! I asked for everything on it and they sure did! The wrap was grilled to a pleasant crisp so it didn't get soggy. A large pile of hot fries and a pickle came with it. My Dad ordered a pizza as usual and it was perfectly done. Our bill was reasonable and our waitress was friendly and made sure we were happy. “We had a nice night out when our friends invited us to the VSpot The staff was really friendly and made us feel right at home, which added to the atmosphere. The steak they served on steak night was absolutely delicious. The music lineup was great, the sound quality was top-notch, and the new stage setup was impressive, making the whole experience even better. Oh, and we also got to check out the release of a new song called "Violet" by a popular local artist named Ivy.
