“Super good!!! I called to see if they did cash delivery because I only had cash one day but they only do DoorDash. Man definitely moneys worth! I did the DoorDash. I had shrimp fried rice with chicken wings it was HEAVEN!! however it wasn’t much shrimp. I counted 7 shrimp exactly. So the second time I ordered the chicken wings I got just the fried rice instead because I didn’t want to be disappointed with the amount of shrimp. Birh very good and fresh! “Chinatown Inn last standing Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh Chinatown. When you walk in it has an Asian feel I remember when I was young with the leather booths, the color red throughout the restaurant and fish tanks. Staff was very nice and outfit in old Asian attire. We first try the Chinatown Pu Pu Platter and dumpling to try out the different appetizers. Our entree were Beef with Broccoli, the Happy Gathering, the House Special Duck and the Salt and Pepper fish. The food was decent but I found it was made more for non Chinese than actual Chinese. Totally understandable since we were the only Chinese outside of the staff in the restaurant and they probably don’t get that many actual Chinese in the restaurant. But it was still a good experience.“

“This is the best “Americanized” Chinese food I’ve had in this area. Their chicken is either all white meat (specified on the menu) or you can request all white meat if you like. It’s always identifiable as whole pieces of meat as opposed to some places where you get pulverized bits that may once have been chicken. Their veggie egg rolls are the biggest and best around. The filling is fresh and usually still a bit crisp as you would expect from actual vegetables. Favorites: lo mein, veggie egg rolls, orange beef, sesame chicken, amazing chicken, garlic string beans.“

They just saw my face turning red a gave me some cold water to drink. Sadly, their standard in most food prep is to use large presliced, brined garlic - not the best. “My husband and I took our son out for some good food and when I tell you this restaurant understood the assignment they totally get an A+! We ordered the Singapore noodle combination, egg soup, Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, beef and broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. The shrimp egg rolls are good just don’t count the shrimp (haha) but still it was delicious! The server was on point the chef made our dinner with care the staff was just amazing we also ate inside at a clean table covered with white linen. “Ordered takeout here for the first time tonight. We ordered some staple dishes and we were told 30 minutes to prepare. I arrived at 30 minutes on the dot with the order waiting. In and out, no complaints. There are tables to dine in, but it's a small strip mall style restaurant so capacity is probably not more than 30 or so.

The chicken on a stick was flavorful, grilled well and not dried out as it tends to get at some places. Initially I didn't think much of the wonton soup. The broth tasted very thin from what I'm used to, but eventually it took on a very prevalent ginger flavor and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. There was very little other than broth and wontons though, only a few slivers of green onion.

The Mongolian beef was very good flavor-wise and peppery, which is how I like it, but the sauce was watery. I don't know if they forgot the cornstarch or what happened. Next time I come here I intend to try their "Hot Spicy Beef" whatever that is...

The General Tso's was excellent, again with a very pronounced white pepper flavor which sets it apart from others I've had in the area. Also not very sweet, which was appreciated. The sauce was sticky without being cloying. I would definitely come back for this and would recommend it to any connoisseurs of General Tso's.

The pork fried rice and chicken lo mein were both satisfactory no-frills Chinese takeout. I would have liked a little more depth of flavor in both, but Lin's Garden has me spoiled there.

All in all, a great little spot to add to the rotation. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent flavors of the main courses. I'm excited to try a few of the other standards and see how they measure up.“

“Came in for takeout and there was no one inside eating . Lady at the counter was really nice and my food maybe took 15 minutes got a lunch special and it only cost a little bit over $10. Not bad for the amount of food I got. Said it was supposed to be spicy and it wasn't to me, but still was good :)“

“Honestly, I don't know how I ended up here but it was delish and the people were very nice. It's a small place and we made a reservation about an hour before showing up. I am a pretty routine kind of girl and I got the Kung Pao Shrimp and it was spicy! I don't believe in too spicy so I appreciated it.
Every bite was delish. The portion size was large and could probably feed another me. I have no idea what my boyfriend ordered but he ordered an entire fish and it came with a glove, Their crab rangons might be the best that I've had in the city. I can't wait

“There is a reason this restaurant doesn't need to have a dine-in area. Their food is amazing and reasonably priced. The biggest compliment I can give Golden Dragon is "consistency." We have ordered from them for years and never had a bad dish/meal!
