My favorite menu items are the buffalo chicken rolls, walnut and apple salad, white pizza, bbq chicken pizza & they have these amazing fresh cookies which I really enjoy! “Came here for a belated birthday celebration with a friend. Highly recommend! Great food and fabulous service. I got the pork chop, which was perfectly cooked and came with a terrific sauce. My friend got the flatbread and the mushrooms as a meal and was very happy. Our waiter was super personable and kept a close eye on everything - I was really impressed by his attention to detail.
Keep in mind that tables do have a 90 minute limit. The hostess came up and very politely reminded us at our time and asked us about dessert. We said no, but they kindly brought us some ice cream with candles to celebrate (just a lovely detail!)
I would 100% come back again and I'd love to check out the patio which looks like a lovely, quiet, natural spot to enjoy dinner.“

“my boyfriend and i tried pelegrino’s after we got sent a menu from them in the mail. we each got a pizza, and the cost was INCREDIBLY lower than the other pizza places we’ve ordered from. they deliver as well, which is nice. what i also appreciate about pelegrino’s is the option for online ordering, which allows me to pay & tip so i don’t have to fumble whenever the delivery comes. it takes some time, but it’s always worth the wait; we’ve never been disappointed!! this is our go to pizza spot!!“

“Hands down best pizza on Route 8 without question. Generational family owned pizza shop who remember their customers like close friends or family. All of the food is great, however the Primavera pizza is a personal favorite along with the Italian or steak hoagies. The Grande Special Sicilian is an absolute wonder, the cheese reseals the cut if you get what I’m saying. I was coming to you guys as a kid when you were in the strip mall across 8, super happy when I get to have a friendly chat picking up the food!

“Been going there for fish sandwiches for over a year. Recently size of fish has gotten smaller and smaller. Today I thought I had actually gotten a small fish stick. Guess have to re-evaluate my satisfaction.“

“This is my pizza place. Everyone has their choice, and this one is mine. Florence serves a fantastic cheese pizza with a slightly crispy crust with a perfect balance of sauce and cheese. They don't spoil their cheese pizza with provolone and have a great sauce that isn't sweet and holds on the pizza perfectly.

Florence also offers other food that is great. Their pesto margarita was a wonderful change of pace with a homemade pesto sauce lovely globs of mozz.

The choices of 5 sizes of pizza allow you to get a small pie if it is just you at home or a jumbo pie that feeds the whole family.

Their store is small up front, but they make up for it with some of the nicest folks in Pittsburgh. New to the area, they are loving the town here and quickly making themselves at home here in the North Hills.

“We stopped here with my son and his fiancé to plan food for their reception and eat. It’s their favorite restaurant. The food was yummy, our server was excellent, and we got our catering squared away! They chose Olive Garden since there is a great variety for vegetarians and carnivores. Her side is all vegetarians, while ours is primarily carnivores. The pasta stations worked great for this! Plus, the lasagna is an add on vegetarian option. Plenty of salad and breadsticks and the menu was set perfectly!
The day of the wedding the food arrived on time, was set-up for us, and was hot and delicious! They were outstanding!

Vegetarian options: My daughter-in-law and her entire family are vegetarians, while my son and our side are not. Olive Garden works great for both the vegetarians and the carnivores! Everyone loved the food, had great choices, and plenty to eat!“
