“We were leaving a funeral service in the evening of 9/9/25, and had reservations at Tillies for 20 people. When we showed up they acted like we were a bother. Insanely rude to everyone. The last thing a family should be dealing with at that time. I made a game time decision at that point, I stepped outside and I called Luciano’s around 7pm on a hope and prayer that last second they would be able to accommodate 20 people and told them our situation. Luciano’s was absolutely SO kind. They asked how long until we would be there, I said “20 minutes”. They said “we’ll be ready”. We all got up and left Tillies, and 20 minute later got to Luciano’s. They had tables lined up and ready for our party. Our two servers were so absolutely amazing I wish I could remember their names. But just 2 awesome young ladies. They were so kind to a family that just lost a loved one. The service, the food, the compassion was just out of this world. Everyone was so happy. Thank you guys so much for making a very gloom, and sad day much better for this family. We’ve always liked the food here but now we will be making a point to visit much more often. Thank you so much, again.“

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. “Best ice cream shop in Pittsburgh. Huge milkshakes for reasonable prices. They don't skimp on the ice cream. Their tornadoes are amazing - get them with extra toppings. The turtle sundae is also great; the caramel they use is so good. All their portions are massive and reasonably priced.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I stopped by Brave Bean on North Shore recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. I ordered a chai latte with whole milk, but unfortunately, it was way too strong for my taste. There was so much chai and not enough milk that it threw off the balance—it came out way too spicy and intense to enjoy. The atmosphere wasn’t quite what I expected. It had more of a cafeteria vibe and felt kind of empty—maybe I just came at a quiet time, but I was the only person there. That said, the barista was very kind and friendly, which definitely helped brighten the visit. Also, they have a wide selection of drinks, almost like a smaller, local version of Starbucks—which could be a plus if you’re into variety.“

Parking: Only 8 of the 12 space parking lot is meant for Starbucks customers - beware. You'll likely even get a "move, or we'll tow" sticker if you park there and go across the street (I was just getting a donut from Dunkin). Never made that mistake again. Parking on street only free on Sundays.“

I'm not only impressed by the food and atmosphere, but the store was very clean and everyone on shift today was friendly. I left quite satisfied and will for sure be back.“
