“This may be the only authentic Sichuan cuisine in the Harrisburg metro area. Sichuan province is known for spicy cuisines. The numbing Sichuan peppercorn got its namesake there. There used to be another authentic Chinese restaurant (HE in Middletown) serving different regional cuisines; unfortunately, that one closed for good a few months ago.The dining area was spacious and clean. Plenty of table of various sizes. Ambiance was above average Chinese restaurants. Ample parking spaces on both sides of the building, as well as in the back. There was just 1 staff who waited the tables, took orders, and manned the cash register. He's friendly and quick. The menu book was big featuring many nice photos of their offerings. There was also a separately one-page menu listing specials for the current month. The prices were on the higher side compared to typical Chinese American restaurants, but for the 2 dishes we ordered, the size of serving was quite fair. We waited 15 minutes for the 2 dishes:1. Hot & Spicy Fish Filet w. Cumin (孜然香辣魚片) $18.95. A lot more fish filets than we expected. The filets were deep fried, crispy and with just enough heat to kick it up a notch. 5 out of 5.2. Chicken w. Dry Pepper (歌樂山辣子雞) $15.95. I really wanted to try this and compare to 重慶辣子雞 which is a well known chicken with dry pepper dish from Sichuan, whereas, I've NEVER heard of this particular spin (as distinguished via its Chinese name). I was sorely disappointed. The chicken pieces were cut too small and coated with way too much batter. It was really stodgy and got old really quick. 2 out of 5.So far hit or miss. But given its large menu, this place warrants another visit without question.“
“It’s like an elevated Chinese restaurant! The restaurant was clean and modern. The food was delicious. My only complaint was that the food did take a long time to come out and the spare rib appetizer was a little salty. Overall great place for a date night. Highly recommend!“
“Gracious service and good food. I had a hankering for hot and sour soup that was well satisfied here. The tender Kung Po chicken made me realize how overcooked it's been at other places I've visited over the years. The staff were all very pleasant.“
“My husband and I have been going here for years. Family run, and they're very friendly. My favorite General Tso's is perfect; smaller pieces of chicken, plenty of sauce. My husband bops around the menu but hasn't been disappointed. You MUST try the fried dumplings - the dipping sauce is worth it on its own if you even just like garlic. Overall, always a good experience for dining.“
“This place does not get enough love on here, so writing this review which I should have done years ago. I've been visiting Lancaster for the last 14ish years and always look forward to getting chinas best. It is the best (American) Chinese food place I've ever had and try to explain to others how good it is. I've lived all over the US and consider Chinese food to be my favorite type of food. Big portions, vibrant flavors, consistency, etc... to the naked eye it's a hole in the wall, but the food speaks for itself. Calendar at the end of the year is also elite. Until I have something better, chinas best is the best and it's not particularly close.“
“One of the best sushi spots in all of Lancaster,PA!!!!Wife and I have been going here for years, even after we moved further way. Just can’t find rolls made the way Ginza makes theirs!!All you can eat Sushi is always on the menu (just make sure you finish what you order because you can’t take it home). Not in the mood for fancy sushi but want some regular rolls? Try the Maki Combo: choose any 3 basic rolls, salad, and soup (clear or miso). Highly suggest the basic Philadelphia Roll, California Roll, and Shrimp Tempura Roll. For fancy, try the Shaky Dog Roll and Fashion Roll. Just talking about them make my mouth water!!Staff is so very nice and ordering is super easy. Ordering out is also super easy and I don’t think our order has been messed up before.Other great options besides sushi are available - try their ramen soups for sure. All in all - you won’t regret giving them a try.“
“I've ordered here multiple times over the years but twice in the last month. General Tso's combo for $8.95 is worth the money. All their selections look good. I'd suggest a combo to save money. The food is always ready when I arrive even if I'm early. I will continue to patron this establishment.Parking: Very small and borderline dangerous parking lot.“
“Amazing sushi restaurant. Went here in early February 2024 on a date night with my Girlfriend (now fiancé). Service - Very Prompt and respectful. Bill was brought on time, along with the foods we ordered! Food - We got about 3-4 sushi rolls, 2 wonton soups, and seaweed salad. All were very well received by myself and my girl. Ambience - Excellent for a date setting, but a little dark for families. I would recommend for love setting! Overall, I recommend it for those looking for a nice private sushi affair with their significant other.“
“This place is great local spot in Quarryville ! Staff here are very nice and remember my regular order better than I do (often saving me from messing up my wifes food) lolParking: Located in shopping plaza with a supermarket dollar store and several other things so plenty of parking also great to go grocery shopping and then order food while you shop to reward yourself for your hard work lolWheelchair accessibility: Ground level handicap parking easy access“
“Excellent service and the Chinese food is delicious and different.I come from Brooklyn, NY, where Chinese food there is known to be the finest. It all looks nice and yellow and very flavorful. But here, the food features are less vivid visibly, and the flavor is not overwhelming. Hence, the mixed reviews. But the reality is that their food is naturally made and not americanized. You can tell it's true because this place is family owned, and it feels like you're walking into a welcoming home when you enter an amazing place to dine. The rice is not plastic the next day, and the food is overall more filling than average Chinese food. They got the edge over others by providing good, tasting homemade Chinese food over typical cheap stuff made from leftovers.“
“Small place to eat in, seems to mostly be a take out. At least they have set up with 1.5 tables. (Half is used for condiments ?).Very quick, nice and helpful service. Easy plaza parking. Good Leola location.Maybe for the value it was a bit short, my entree was delicious but on the small side ( I am biased because I eat big portions ?)But a good place to go back, as their flavor was great! Not like other places where every dish tastes similar or the same. I had garlic chicken and you could tell the garlic sauce that covered the chicken ?“
“FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY !! A great sit down chinese restaurant that has wonderful food, fabulous service and authetic chinese/american food. So happy to finds this place and will be back over and over. Mu Shu Pork is fabulous, Egg rolls to die for! JUST YUM!“
“I found this place online near the campground in which we were staying. I’ve never been disappointed by a china wok, so I figured I wanted to give it a try. I was very happy with the taste and quality of my food. It tasted just as good as I had anticipated; and the freshness is unmatched. The restaurant was very clean, and did have a few booths available for those who want to eat at the restaurant, and a bench available for those who are waiting on their order. I am very happy with this place.“
“Absolutely outstanding experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The ambiance was cozy and, setting the perfect atmosphere for our meal. The menu offered a wide array of authentic Chinese dishes, and is well prepared. The Kung Pao Chicken was a personal favorite, with just the right balance of heat and savory goodness. The service was good and efficient our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Would recommend.“
“the 3.7 stars initially had me doubtful, but i got the general tao’s and the rice was perfectly cooked, the broccoli perfect, the chicken crispy but not too tough. the sauce flavorful and the peppers hot. i LOVED it. second best general tao’s i’ve ever had, and both my ex girlfriend and my old roommate lived in china for a cumulative three years. if you’re offended by the staff then chill the hell out, you need to try working a service industry job or just realize the world doesn’t always cater to YOU, Fool. it’s about the food!“
