I came in expecting a burger, but I stayed for the Frog Legs—the gochujang brown butter buffalo sauce is an absolute game changer. If you are looking for boring bar food, go elsewhere. Here, you have to try the Beef Tartare; the quality of the Snake River Farms beef really shines, and the soy cured yolk adds such a rich texture. For the main event, the Duck Burger is a must-order. The combination of a duck and beef fat patty with luxardo cherries and boursin cheese sounded crazy on paper, but it was incredible. This place is a culinary hidden gem.“

“I've had mixed experiences here. Awhile ago I came and had the wedding soup hoagie and a soup and it was incredible. The last time I went I got a quart of chicken soup and a sandwich as well. This time there was a long line of people, the soup didn't have almost any chicken (I found two small pieces in the whole quart) but was just carrots and celery (great broth though), and the sandwich was pretty good but my bread was a little soggy.

I think soup can be a bit of a gamble with getting an even distribution of stuff inside, so I'll try it again!“

I was thrilled to see the option for sweet sauce and chose that for mine-it was delicious! Hubby got the regular sauce and it was equally delicious!

“A recent drop off at the UPS store lead me to an impromptu lunch decision. The aroma outside the shop drew me in to Mama Pepino’s for the first time today. I was greeted by the friendly owner, who took my counter/take out order and quickly prepared what is probably the BEST steak hoagie I have enjoyed from a pizza shop in quite some time. I ordered it exactly as it was listed on the menu. The owner did mention they bake their own hoagie rolls fresh and even after the 20 minute car ride home it held up very well and was still warm. But I’d be remiss to not mention the abundance of steak and toppings that hoagie bun held - very tasty and filling. With trends of prices rising and portions shrinking - THIS sandwich is a robust bite and good value! I know now to keep Mama Pepino’s on my radar when I am in the Irwin area.“

My order arrived exactly as I ordered it and they didn't miss any of the sides. “Definitely, an experience took my grandmother out because the yard was closed, and we drove passes and saw a crowd of people. First, we thought it was a party because kids were playing in the middle of their yard and were able to find a parking space at the front very, very rare. She didn't want to sit outside, so we walked in. Both our faces were confused. One the beautiful employees from the first restaurant when you first walk in from the parking lot stopped what they were doing and explained the experience we was bout to have three separate restaurants in one building side-by-side each other three different menus and if you wanted to order from all three you could. It was very overwhelming, so we stuck with what we know chicken and salmon sandwich and fries with a salad from Elevate. There a twist to everything you buy, so if you bring your kids sn there funny about food, keep them home or head somewhere else you'll be wasting your money.“

For those complaining that the prices are too high It was only about $3.50 more than Bahama Breeze and so much tastier and better quality plus now I know where I can get it without having to drive all the way to Robinson. They could however use some better advertising as I would have never known about this place if I hadn’t seen a Facebook post.“

“We enjoy coming to the Coxcomb on Saturday nights for trivia but the set up makes it almost impossible to hear over the noise of the crowd at the bar. Not sure why they don't set up trivia in the back area where tables playing could hear the questions. The food is mostly pretty good although I had the Bruschetta Pasta last time and it had no flavor at all. After piling on salt and parmesan I still couldn't finish even a third of it. Seems like the food is a little hit or miss. My friend had the shrimp and it had lots of flavor but the pasta and the fajita bowl really needed something more; very bland. We'll keep coming back though as we've always liked this location and we love the Saturday night trivia. Service was good.“

The staff takes great pride in keeping the dining area clean for customers and they have employees wiping down tables regularly.
