“To start, do yourself a favor and try escargot for your first time! Any of the beef options are delicious(though I get the marinated tips) and always pair with a side of the PA famous “Captiva Sauce”! All homemade and all traditional and delicious. On top of that the tiramisu is to die for. All in all you can miss here of the menu and the specials are always changing. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GIVE IT A GO!!“

“Couldn't be Happier! Had a Wonderful 90th Birthday party for my Father! The owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had OUTSTANDING customer service! The owner was just so sweet and the staff so kind and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Definitely 10/10 for service and the food was WONDERFUL! Thank you all for helping make the party a success! Will definitely be back for dinner again. If I could give it more stars I would! Highly recommend!!!“

“Vegan pizza! Vegan Stromboli! Our favorite was the vegan pizza💜 The dough is great 😋 sauce is flavorful & they made it perfect! We came here Wednesday 5/1. They have a Vegan & Gluten Free menu. We didn’t try the GF choices (cauliflower crust) but good to know! Would definitely recommend for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free people, etc OR any1 who wants to try something new😄…waitress said she loves the smell of vegan cheese but hasn’t tried it BUT now she will 👍 The indoor/outdoor seating is nice, we sat on the border of both lol which was lovely. It’s on a busy street but your view is still pretty with trees, grass, old brick buildings that they’ve kept up & more *They don’t have pineapple🍍as a topping (yet) so I’m hoping with this review that they’ll order it lol pineapple pizza is the best🤤“

“Went for lunch with my daughter got the lunch special. Salad, cavatelli with meat sauce, wood fired margarita pizza, a cup of wedding soup, 2 gelatos, and 2 drinks. Could not believe how good and cheap. $23 and change for both of us. Definitely will go back!“

“Very kind owner that does a one-man job. He does everything himself including hosting, cooking, and cleaning. Because of this, please be patient when you visit. Also, he is a bit hard of hearing so you need to speak up a bit so he can hear you. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our food came out very quickly and the interior of the restaurant was very neat. 5 stars for me!“

“i honestly think this might be the best restaurant in Johnstown. The fried mozzarella was amazing. Better than the high-end restaurant's mozzarella. The salad was good but can live without it(the side salad that is) But the bread. it tastes exactly like how my mom used to make it. It was soft, warm, and tasty. one of the best things I tried for being so simple. I was hoping for alfredo but didn't see it so I got the garlic oil pasta. It was good on its own but REALLY good with parmasan on it. it tasted like a less creamy version of alfredo“

“Ordered 2 Stromboli 's My Stromboli I wanted everything it came with except no ham & wanted double pepperoni. For some reason they put ham on my order. It was good, except the ham tasted old. WHEN I WENT TO EAT IT I HAD TO REHEAT IT CUZ IT WAS A LITTLE WARM JUST WARM I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WAS IN THE MIDDLE THERE WAS NONE ON THE ENDS IT WAS REALLY DOUGHY. NOT ENOUGH PEPPERONI.. I HATE TO COMPLAIN I JUST I'M NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN FOR SANTA'S PIZZA AND STROMBOLIS BUT IT WAS JUST TOO DOUGHY FOR ME I DID EAT IT I CAN'T UPLOAD ANY PICTURES BECAUSE I DID EAT IT BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD GET BETTER BUT LIKE I SAID AT THE END IT WAS ALL THOUGH THERE WAS NO PEPPERONI NOTHING EVERYTHING WAS IN THE MIDDLE ON THE WHOLE THING THAT'S WHY I GAVE IT ONLY THREE STARS“

“I will always prefer the Italian Oven over any Olive Garden any day of the week. The Italian Oven tastes more like authentic Italian cuisine and has a much better taste overall, in my opinion of course. But it doesn't taste mass produced and has more flavor I think. The proportions are more than generous as well, I don't think I've ever left without a to go box. Would definitely recommend!“
