“came in on a friday afternoon for an early dinner. no wait, BYOB, reasonable prices, and truly unlimited chips/salsa (the chips are freshly fried tho!) that I could honestly get full off of with a good drink imo not as good as some of the mexican food on the other side of the river, but if you're in ucity and crave a solid burrito, this is a cute spot! ended up as $21/pp after tax and tip and we had some leftovers too!“

“I ordered the Beef Birria Tacos. First time was good I ordered on a Saturday night. My second time I went around 4pm not as good the consommé had a strong tomato paste flavor to me and they added too many onions to the top. Overall the food was good. Best to call ahead there really isn’t a waiting area inside. I would recommend them and continue to support this small local business.“

“We ordered a torta al pastor and enchiladas verdes. Everything on both plates was delicious except for the chicken in the enchiladas, which was not so good, but I was still very happy with the meal. I wouldn't recommend dining in if you're looking for a quiet eating environment, though - it was pretty noisy in the restaurant between the loud salsa music and the loud thumping (??).“

“Went for dinner and food was excellent! Had the Sopa Azteca and the broth was so tasty. The Tacos huastecos were meaty and again so tasty. My son had the Enchilados and he said they were some of the best he’s had. Overall, a delicious and reasonable meal with great service!! Highly recommend!“

“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“

I enjoy the chicken tacos, which are packed with flavor. The burritos are wonderful as well. They sell Jarritos sodas (I like the guava flavor.) Highly, highly recommend this authentic, laid-back neighborhood gem!“

“Omg!!!! I found this place by accident today. Walker over to it from the far side of the lot expecting to see a pizza place. Walker inside and it literally can't get anymore basic. A few tables and folding chairs. Over the place was clean and the bathroom was very clean. Now for the important part. They served me up the best chorizo tacos I have ever had! Good authentic Mexican tacos served with radish I put some of their house made hot sauce on the tacos and it was heaven. This is one of the hidden gems that you rarely find. I'll be back for sure !!!! I should also mention the service was great the nice lady behind the counter was very pleasant.“

“Fantastic food for such an affordable price. This is a very authentic restaurant with food that tastes fresh and is served very professionally. I went there with my partner and we had a wonderful time. Only big drawback is that parking is hard to find. I highly recommend the Horchata- mine was served to me in a plastic soup container, but that's $6 worth of drink and I'm still sipping it on the way home. You really get your money's worth and more here!“

“2024-Feb - the location has moved. Not far. Just be aware the name should not be “El Limon Ardmore”, it should be “El Limon - Rittenhouse “Still awesome. One of the most authentic spots in the Philly Suburb area. “We love this place. We order food from here nearly every week and it’s consistently delicious. We also appreciate that we can sit outside when the weather is nice.Vegetarian options: They can very easily leave dairy out of their dishes to make them vegan. You just Have to double check you dish because sometimes they will forget and accidentally include cheese or sour cream, but they always take care of it if that happens.“

“I was there yesterday and got 2 gringo tacos with steak & sour cream. I think I was overcharged, as the menu price was $8 and my total came to $12.19. I understand that there would be tax and an upcharge for the sour cream (which I never got) but $4+ more than advertised seems like a lot. Other than that, the service was friendly and the food was great.“

“Loco Pez is a staple in our dining out routine. We love a lazy weekend brunch, a mid-week drink at the bar, or a special dinner out with friends. Truly a spot perfect for any occasion. We even had them cater a birthday party recently and they went above and beyond - every single one of our guests raved about the food.“

“We wanted Mexican food, and we walked in and ordered from Mr. Taco. The food was freshly made. The young men working there are very nice. We had a veggie burrito and BBQ chicken burrito. Both were fresh and delicious. We also had chips and salsa. The chips and our order were prepared while we waited. We definitely will be returning soon.“

“When a stormy Taco Tuesday is also your BIRTHDAY, how else to celebrate than by trying a new local spot!Such a great little gem in Drexel Hill. Colorful and flavorful would be how I describe the decor and the food. What I ate:Tacos De Asada (3) - Grilled steak, Cilantro, Radish, Cooked Scallion, & Salsa (the brown salsa is indescribably delicious. It has a smoky, spicy flare)I usually eat steak medium and didn't ask for it to be prepared that way, so it was well done and not to my liking. However, it was very tasty.Al Pastor Buritto - Spicy Marinated Pork w/Pineapple, Flour Tortilla, Lettuce, Pico de Gallo, Refried Beans, Rice, Sour Cream & Cheese.I'm smiling as I write this because this was the highlight! I was instantly punched in the taste buds, in a fantastic way lol.I texted a friend that lives in Drexel Hill while I was eating and said if he hadn't been to El Buen Sazon he had to go. Not only does he order from them once a month, he said he told me about them awhile ago. Lol I guess things truly happen when they're supposed to.Great service, great food, BYOB, street parking out front and there's a parking lot entrance on the block.I highly recommend you visit!!!“

“Good Lord! Dios mio! These are some good tacos! I got the Authenticos... Steak! They were DEEEE-lish and huge. They were served with a roasted jalapeño, roasted green onions and roasted cactus... lime & cucumber slices... Two salsas: A hot, ting-tangy red and a milder, mellower green. The steak was sliced thin, well-seasoned and juicy. I am so happy West Philly-- (Cobbs Creek/Haddington, specifically)-- has such an authentic spot... right around the corner, practically! Now you do not have to go to South Philly, or even to Baltimore Ave for the reeeeal gooood stuff! Their flan is the richest, thickest, caramel-iest custard I have ever had. Drinks are Aguas Frescas (and not on the menu). I got the Horchata. It's a rice and cinnamon drink. Sweet, flavorful, refreshing. They also have Jamaica (which is made with hibiscus flowers). They serve all kinds of breakfast foods, too... I am torn now. Cuz I want to keep this little spot as my Secret Go-To... But I also want to tell EVERYBODY to go! Gotta support this lil spot so that Chulola Mexican Grill can stay fixin' my taco and nacho craves. Welcome! Welcome to the West, Chulola Family Grill! So glad you are here! Yummmm...“

“We came here for the first time this weekend and were pleasantly surprised. We got 2 quesidillas, a burrito, and the chips and cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was my favorite hands down. The pico mostly just tasted like tomatoes vs pico so that was my only complaint from a food standpoint. Otherwise, Drew was so awesome. Kept checking in on us and created a very welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back.“

“My wife and I recently visited the restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed with our experience. When we arrived, they greeted us with complimentary chips accompanied by two delicious salsas and a fantastic crab salad. My wife ordered the birria tacos and I opted for a variety of tacos - cabeza, carnitas, and al pastor. I liked that I was able to order 3 different types of tacos. While all were delicious, the cabeza taco stood out as the clear winner. The meat was tender and well seasoned. The food felt like authentic Mexican food from the salsas to the meat. The parking was a breeze, with plenty of spaces available right outside the restaurant.Overall, great place! Delicious food, excellent service, and affordable prices. We'll definitely be back to try more plates!“

“We usually take out as it is a modest space in a small Claymont shopping center. The food is some of the best Mexican food in the area. Simple but excellent. We've tried the tacos burritos and several platters all were excellent. Give this little place a try“

“We have been dining at this establishment for over 7 years. The quality of food has diminished greatly the past year. The wait staff barely speaks English and does not understand when you place an order. Two days ago four of went for dinner. We all order separate meals and wound up with upset stomachs, vomitting and discharge. No coincidence due to poor quality of food.“

“We are visiting from out of state looking for homes in the area. Between showings, I found this restaurant. We were the only ones dinning in for lunch, but many locals were carrying out. I apologize for the lack of photos, I was too hungry and it slipped my mind. The employees were very nice and accommodating to my vegan request. They made a platter of mushrooms, onions and peppers with rice, beans, avocado, and lettuce. The food was superb! My husband got Al pastor and Bisteck tacos, he closed his eyes and had a spiritual experience with his first bite. He said it was comparable to food we had in New Mexico (best Tex-mex ever) My daughter got the Combo Colosio, it was a HUGE amount of food. My son had the kids menu fajita that he thoroughly enjoyed. My only complaint was that it was very cold in the dining room.“

“Oh my goodness- Nirvana yum in a bowl. -think Chipotle like bowl meal meets Indian flavors and creativity- and in an efficient and convenient fast casual venue. As a true "frequent flyer"- I wish every airport had a Currito. It's a rare treat to find a place with truly healthy (veggie and nutrition dense) options that are high in flavor and options. Don't worry if you don't like "curry"- though there's curry in the name, there are many options that are curry-free. If you've never tried Indian fare, this is the best way to have a taste- customized and "safe" for even the pickiest of eaters. The service was fast, and the owner was looking on to ensure high quality and satisfaction.“

“Went here for food on by boyfriends birthday (he has an allergy to garlic which is in most seasonings) and the chef helped us find something to accommodate him. Super friendly staff, really good food. Even had reran our order when they saw it was charged in a way that had cost us more. Felt like everyone was going above and beyond.“

“We stop by the Springfield Qdoba fairly frequently, and it's always been good, but they've especially stepped up their game lately. More varieties of proteins, the chips have been fresher and taste better, and the staff is great. Especially the crew the night of Tuesday 1/30 tonight went above and beyond. Keep up the good work!“

“My favorite thing about this place is that it feels like home. Delicious food, drinks, & beautiful environment. I love how they decorate for all occasions. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive to all customers. Take-out, LUNCH, dinner, happy hour. I come here by myself, with my husband, or my family. My favs are the 3tacos for lunch, quesadillas or fajitas for dinner & churros for dessert!! Always serve plenty of food & make for great leftovers to take home. Highly recommended! ❤️“

“Hey! This is a great place to sit, relax and have a conversation. The atmosphere is great, very welcoming and the server was friendly. I ordered the Fajitas; you can share that with 2 people, it was alot of food. It wasn’t very tasty to me because it could use some seasoning. Many people are salt restricted so it is a good choice. I had a cute little drink as well it was made nicely. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and our server. I will be trying something different when I go again. (The videos show the veggies & minimal steak for the fajitas and the avocado, cheese etc you would add to your fajitas) Our bill was about 84$ we did not share the Fajitas.“
