“Update: they are still the best of the best around! They're fried chicken takes 25-30 min bc they fry it fresh but it. is. worth. the. wait!BEST fried chicken!They have EXCELLENT quality food, fresh ingredients, and their fried rice is unbeatable! Friendly service, clean dining, large portions, and excellent food makes this my NUMBER ONE go to spot in York County for Chinese food. In the dozens of times eating here since they opened doors going on TEN years ago, I've NEVER waited longer than 15 minutes for food, whether dining in or ordering take out. I've heard a lot of bragging about the Chinese at Giant but it's so meh compared to River House! The Singapore Mei Fun, Royal Pad Thai, Teriyaki Beef, crab Rangoon, eggrolls, steamed dumplings, and Hunan Beef are all must haves! But their general tsos, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and all the other staples are very delicious, too! River House opened doors the same month I moved into the area. We tried them right away and never stopped. Even with increase in prices, it is 1000% worth the extra cost for fresh food! We have never once had a poor experience there and the staff has always been very accommodating of our weird requests and incredibly friendly!“

“Gracious service and good food. I had a hankering for hot and sour soup that was well satisfied here. The tender Kung Po chicken made me realize how overcooked it's been at other places I've visited over the years. The staff were all very pleasant.“

“Dined in and it was wonderful! Extremely responsive and the meal was on point! Ordered General Tso's chicken meal; came with fried rice and egg-roll. Servings were huge! Wasn't just big chunks of chicken- it was served as actual bite size pieces, and it was very tasty! Service was excellent and the staff very nice people. One meal fed me three times over. Excited to visit again. Ambiance had classic soft-rock music. Prices were on par too!“

“E- Yuan is by far the best for Chinese food for our family. Any time we are in the area, we won't pass up the opportunity to grab our "go to" dishes! Moo shu chicken, egg drop soup, chicken egg foo young, chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, wonton soup, crab rangoons. We have had moo shu chicken at other places and it tends to have an "ashtray" taste....definitely NOT the issue here! Their food has always been spot on and when our neighborhood restaurant won't cut it, we will make the trip.“

“I had this place for the first time last night and it was hands-down the best Chinese food in town! I got sesame chicken with white rice and my boyfriend for general Taos chicken with fried rice. The prices are perfect and it was only $20! Each meal was $8.99 and a good portion. I can’t wait to go back and try their crab rangoons!“

“Food was very good!! Lots of mixed reviews on here, however my husband and I enjoyed it. I got the orange chicken and Buddhist delight. Husband got shrimp chow mien and pot stickers. Everything was cooked well and good flavor. Orange chicken had pieces of orange in it which was nice. Rice was cooked well. Not over or under cooked. Vegetables perfectly steamed!! Which can be hard to find. Quick service about 20mins. Small restaurant part so mostly would be for take out.“
