“Cafe La Maude in Philadelphia is a charming spot that blends French and Lebanese culinary traditions into a delightful brunch experience. With a 5-star rating, it’s praised for its flavorful and unique dishes, professional service, and the cozy ambiance that makes the wait worthwhile. The menu offers a mix of healthy options, and while the prices are a bit steep, the quality of the food is exceptional. It’s a place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and feel the warmth of family history and culture in every bite.“

“such a cute cafe! I’ve been wanting to stop by for the longest but never had the time to until recently. I walked in and the gentleman at the register recommended “the Antonio” sandwich…and let me tell you, I came back the next day for another one! It was so good! The 2nd time around, I was able to get my hands on their tarts and they were delicious. Will def continue to make my way in.“

“A cute pet-friendly cafe with a persimmon theme in Fishtown. It might be a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was busy on a Sunday morningSide note: My friend recommended me Drift Magazine for city coffee guide and I was excited to flip the physical copies there. We ordered latte and cappuccino. Very smooth coffee with a nutty espresso base. Well-frothed milk gave a creamy texture. Loved the latte art on top. The porcelain mugs and coasters they used were cute. Their pastries looked attractive to serve with coffee too.“

“LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“I saw this place on social media so wanted to check it out. You have an amazing idea here. I thought the Z thing was only for the menu but they have their employees substituting Z’s for everything. It’s funny, it’s an experience. Great customer service IMO.Y’all need to update your address or business page on google maps, this location shows one place. I saw another location on your website, this review is for the truck at 3400 Fox St. I’m not even sure what this business page address is for. Maybe this is an old location?Onto the chicken cheesesteak. I got one with fried chicken tenders inside, lettuce, and I think they put some kind of hot sauce as well. The bread this comes on is incredible. If you want anything HEALTHY, DO NOT come here, I’m reading that it’s deep fried bread. Whatever they do to it, I could’ve ate it alone. The fried chicken inside is seasoned well. It’s kinda too much and falls apart as a result but who cares, eat some first with a fork then eat the rest. I got fries here but they were just okay. I want to come back and try something else.“

“For my wife's and my wedding anniversary dinner, we ordered around 100 individual cakes from A La Mousse for our guests. We ordered mango mousses, papa bear cakes, and tiramisus. We all loved them!! We received so many positive reviews for the cakes, especially the mango mousse. The cakes were the perfect size also, presented beautifully, and all in all we thought added a really special touch to our celebration.Lynn and her staff at the South Street location are super friendly, helpful and were great to work with in the preparation for this event. This is definitely our go-to cake place in town!“

“A hidden jewel for good coffee nestled in Old Rittenhouse Town, Wissahickon Park. (A Beautiful area to hike or mountain bike (two separate trails) or walk your dog ). It is a coffee shop and bike shop. The surprise was the quality and freshness of the coffee. My Americano was delicious. The beans were freshly ground, and the cup was Full of flavor. The young gentleman that served me (and my dog!) was very friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy your coffee and the beautiful historic Rittenhouse town.“

“Food was fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. Beware of the pickled jalapeños if you are sensitive to spicy food. Both their beef gyro and falafel were the best I’ve ever had. Please keep in mind that I don’t even like meat and I’ve been struggling with anorexia for decades. So it’s very difficult for me to eat anything unless it’s super fresh and extraordinarily tasty. This place is a true gem and treasure.Service was outstanding, The owner-host made us feel immediately welcomed and at ease. She let us customize our order and was very prompt with our food. She was very knowledgeable about the ingredients they use, as well. The seating area is small, but that is to be expected in this area.Overall, this was by far our favorite restaurant to visit in the Philly area.Vegetarian options: they have falafel, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, salads, you name it! they offer endless customization options if you’d like, as well.Dietary restrictions: they serve halal, and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients they use.“

“What we ordered: Baker’s Basket, Continental Breakfast, French Omelet, and a hot latte.I’d recommend the Continental Breakfast if you’re indecisive or if you want a variety in one order, which was fun for me to try. I love the croissants here because they are not too flaky yet still buttery and fresh. However, the scone was too dry for my liking, and the toasted brioche was okay. It was a fun breakfast for us with friendly service.Be mindful of the parking as well, because you’ll need to parallel park and pay for the time you’re there. If you’re even a couple of minutes late, you may end up with a ticket, which was a painful experience for us.“

“Giving 5 stars because Dotty's is excellent at what they do... Even if many of the flavors are over the top and I don't actually like them. LoLI'm really loving the savory doughnuts though! I didn't think that they would be as good as they have been. :-)“

“Gather your Canada Goose and 3 carat diamond ring, because to enter this rarified coffee-lunch-shop air, you’ll need something to fit in. This place is a tremendous find, clearly with a chef from city-level fine dining. The chicken salad sandwich is fresh with an incredible array of fresh herbs in the mix and crunchy yet soft sandwich bread. You’ll surely not go wrong with a grain salad topped with chicken - super high quality meat - the difference is clear. I was also impressed by my matcha latte - not as much by the chocolate chip cookie. The grapefruit soda was also distinct with a hint of thyme and a perfect amount of sweet and bubble. I can hardly wait to return and enjoy the very best again.“

“Clean minimal shop with quality matcha products and great ice cream.Strawberry and earl grey swirl are my current go to after dinner in Chinatown, however it is a seasonal flavor so get it while you can. I’ve also had the hojicha float which was refreshing and had a deep roasted nutty flavor with an edge of bitterness. What I enjoy most about this place is the typical Asian compliment when it comes to dessert “not so sweet”.Surreal is quite trendy but I find myself becoming quickly tired of it due to amount, all the toppings, and just the overall sweetness of the ice cream whereas matcha Maiko has the perfect amount of sweetness to remind you it’s a treat but not to the point where halfway through you feel like need water or tea to tone down the sugar“

“This morning, as I was on my way to work, I had a little bit of time to grab a cup of coffee before catching my train. I came across this quaint cafe and decided to check it out. I am so glad that I did. Not only did I get a cup of coffee but I also got an egg & cheese sandwich on a croissant. My breakfast was absolutely amazing. The croissant was buttery and fresh. The sandwich literally melted in my mouth and the coffee was the finishing touch! I told the workers that this was the best breakfast sandwich that I ever had! I will DEFINITELY be back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND supporting this small business. Tell em that James sent you and YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!“

“I know this is a coffee shop but don’t sleep on the toasties! Look at that cheese pull. Immaculate, much like the cleanliness level of the shop. The guys that work there are all real stand-up dudes. But definitely get a toastie.Kid-friendliness: Just don’t be obnoxious and bring your entire stroller inside. There’s not room for that. Don’t lie to yourself for the sake of convenience. Not gonna happen.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but bathroom may be hard to get to when they’re busy due to space limitations“
“I just want them to make my coffee and design my apartment ? the cappuccino is the smoothest that I've had in Philly and the decorum is exquisite. The price is very affordable for a cappuccino and it's CONSISTENTLY well made, which is rare for a coffee shop. Not to mention they're open on Christmas when everyone else is closed and I appreciate that. My 5 year old and I go and sit here for hours and write and read and laugh. It's an amazing atmosphere.“

“A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. “Given the number of various establishments at this location that have come and gone over the last few decades, the fact that Vibrant has now been here well over two years speaks for itself. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood was relatively coffee-free for years, and thankfully several places have popped up recently. This is the best of the lot. Coffees and baked goods are consistently excellent. Baristas are usually pleasant. Unless money isn’t a concern for you, however, be advised that a regular plain coffee is around $4, and prices go up from there, so Vibrant is not the best place to frequent often. The space itself is pretty tiny, there’s no real room to sit inside, which leads to lines out the door every weekend morning and when there’s an event going on in the Square. There are some small tables outside the entrance on Locust Street. That’s it, so by necessity business is mostly takeout. Worth it for an occasional treat/splurge.“

“We’ve tried all the Ethiopian food in this area and this is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is sooooo good. Service is a little slow but every time we’ve been there it’s only 1 guy working and he’s working hard. We don’t mind the wait at all, we usually bring some cards or something to keep us occupied ? the restaurant is very clean. its BYOB so bring your drink of choice! I really love this place. I hope you try it.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. I eat meat but went with 2 vegetarians and we shared everything. Eating vegetarian here still is sooooo satisfying.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not wheelchair accessible. “Forin on Coral St is my favorite lil space. The baristas here are the coolest, most down-to-earth folks who know their stuff. (Shoutout to Gab & Caleb, but seriously everyone there is a gem.) It is one of the few multi-roasters in Philly, meaning they don’t just have coffee from one roaster so there’s always delicious variety in your coffee. Not to mention, their specialty drinks are home runs every time. There’s room to sit if you want to read or book, the atmosphere and aesthetics are charming if you want to stay and chat, and the community that surrounds it is filled with some lovely humans. Definitely recommend Forin to anyone who’ll listen. You can find something for everyone, whether it be a kid-friendly hot chocolate, a nice single-origin drip for your coffee connoisseur friends, or a tasty mocha to keep you trucking through this capitalist hellscape — it’s a welcoming space for all.Dietary restrictions: So many vegan milks to choose from“
