While every dish was truly tasty, my two favorites were the branzino and mishwia. I told Ahmed it was my parents anniversary and he gave us tea and baklava on the house. All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! The peanut butter cream filled doughnut had peanut butter mixed in with the cream filling, the Nutella just has Nutella spread on top. Plenty of variety even in cream filled doughnuts. The flavor of the blueberry fritter was top 2 for a non-apple fritter. “This place was very good. This was our first time coming here. We had a very short wait which was a welcome surprise since it was a Saturday around noon. My son had the red velvet pancakes and liked it (he said 4/5). I had the braised beef Benedict and it was awesome. Great flavor and eggs were poached perfectly. Service was definitely 100%. It's a lovely shop, the "organized clutter" of a college store perhaps, instantly welcoming and such a friendly informed person (Jeff) and (the reason I went to the source) exceptional coffee. “My husband has celiac but was also insisting that we have a wedding cake for us to cut at our wedding. None of the Italian bakeries in Philadelphia offer GF so I looked around for other bakeries and found High Fidelity. I stopped in one day to see if they could make a custom cake for us — not only did they do that with only a weeks notice but the cake turned out beautiful and absolutely delicious! One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling.There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni).
