“Amazing experience and food at Nourri au beurre! We tried the discovery menu and we were so impressed by the quality of the dishes and their wine pairings. Yohann, our waiter, was very knowledgeable on the wines as well as the meals themselves. He was extremely attentive and he made the experience that much more enjoyable!“

“A great French restaurant, with amazing food, wine list, and service. If you go during the day time, try to book à table under the glass ceiling! I really liked their appetizers and desserts the most, their paté was amazing, and the bone marrow, chèvre salade, grilled octopus, duck confit were also really tasty. The lemon tart was one of the best I've had in Montreal.“

“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!“

“Went to several great tables recently and this place didn't disappoint. Some risk, would have loved to see more creativity from such a renowned place (that's why 4 stars and not 3). Portions were on the small side (I took 2 appetizers). Service however was on point, taste was excellent and cooking done perfect. Very picky of me to give 4 stars but Vin Mon Lapin the night prior and Monarque on Thursday were a match, with a little extra. I would come back to club Chasse et Pêche. Very close tin mu book to 5 stars (4.5 can't give 1/2).“

“Highly recommend Joe Beef. The staff and management went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy. I appreciate how easy they made it for me. The food was amazing and atmosphere was perfect. We went for dinner after a long day. If you have a food allergy make sure to reach out to the restaurant to give them a chance to prepare for your visit. Will definitely keep Joe Beef in mind for our next trip to Montreal.Dietary restrictions: My food allergy is complex and they handled it perfectly. I was able to enjoy the food with my family. Most importantly I did not get sick. Greatly appreciate all the thought that went into making our meal perfectly delicious.“

“Located on the top floor of the Eaton Centre, Time Out Market has an great atmosphere and vibe. I have yet to try any of the restaurants, but the beer/wine bar was above my expectations. Bartenders and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are fairly reasonable, I’d recommend the Flacatoune beer by Microbrasserie Charlevoix. ?Can get very busy after five on weeknights, so arrive early.“

“When you arrive at Billy's, you feel like home. The team is warm, smiling, and the service is fast. We treat ourselves to truly delicious homemade dishes: an excellent Jerusalem artichoke soup, an ultra-soft fried chicken on a waffle, and a floating island for dessert, worthy of the name. In short, a real joy. Can not wait for next time !“

“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“

“Very good evening thanks to the delicious and generously served food, we chose a raclette that came with a creamy vegetable garden! All the staff were very pleasant: attentive, professional while being discreet. A big thank you to our very friendly waitress (Marseillaise!) who made us want to come back!“

“Very good place. Impeccable and personal service, well played and diligent. This restaurant is not for the small budget though, check the prices. A suggestion: while charging $15 for a beer, it would be good to offer an original local micro beer, we have excellent ones in Montreal (Brewskey, Messorem, Toltek). Excellent food and worth the price (it's relative!). It should be noted that a very beautiful private reception room is available and welcoming for 50 people in the basement. In short, I recommend it for a chic evening before a concert or to mark a birthday, etc.“

“Cela fait plusieurs fois que nous commandons chez Le Pegase, et je n’ai jamais pris le temps d’écrire un mot ! Leur cuisine est exceptionnelle, toujours très travaillée et pour des prix défiant toute concurrence. Un des meilleurs restaurants français que j’ai goûté tout pays confondus. (et je suis française haha!). Le goûter c’est l’adopter !!“

Cooked to perfection, each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that danced on my palate. “Worth a visit. The food is consistently good, but the service and presentation is what blows you away. The dessert course is especially satisfying, reaching Willy Wonka levels of whimsy. The staff seem perfectly trained and manage a full room of tables and multiple courses with ease.“

“Excellent card! All the dishes were delicious. On the other hand, the homemade sourdough bread was ordinary and I found a piece of silicone kitchen utensils in the whipped butter that accompanies the bread. Reported to 2 servers and no one apologized for the inconvenience or made a commercial gesture. We expect better in this type of establishment“

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“It was a delicious bistro that you can enjoy casually. I couldn't make a same-day reservation for lunch, so I was surprised to find so many people waiting when I arrived, but I was seated within 5 minutes. At first, we had a French brunch menu, but when we asked, they gave us an English lunch menu. All the staff members are friendly and greet you.Two of us ordered soup, mussels, pork, and creme brûlée.It was Canadian size and the portion was too much for us Japanese people, but we took it home in a doggy bag and enjoyed it for dinner. It was a very satisfying lunch.“

“Fantastique expérience culinaire du début à la fin, accompagnée par un excellent service. On a particulièrement aimé les agnolotti de foie de volaille servis avec noisettes et vincotto de camerises, mais tout était absolument délicieux - je dirais même renversant. Merci pour la belle soirée!“

“I received a Coffret Prestige Épicurien. I chose Le Bleu Raisin because the menu looked amazing in the booklet. Not only did it look amazing, but it was also delicious. It was 6 course meal. From the soup until the dessert, everything was divine. It's a bring your own booze restaurant. The staff were never nice and courteous, and the restaurant was cozy. We used public transport (Metro) since there was not really any parking in the neighborhood. (That's the ick of the place).“

“I wanted to love this place. I thought it would have been at the level of a Michelin restaurant, but it fell just short. It was good, but not great. The atmosphere was distorted a bit by the bar. I’m just not used to a Michelin level restaurant having a large bar. It detracted from the atmosphere. There is a bar in the hotel lobby, so this was not necessary.Service was good, but a bit generic. They did pay attention to small details, such as replacing a napkin that fell to the floor with a new one, but I was not blown away by much more. The pacing of our experience felt off, with awkward gaps of time in between some courses. We got the degustation menu. It was decent. Generally at these restaurants, you’ll be tempted with a series of amuse bouches that sets the tone for the evening. That part was skipped. So we went right to the menu. The only course that was not good was the sea bream carpaccio. It tasted overly fishy, and the shaved celery was an odd pairing. It got better from there, with the standout being the duck foie gras. The only other miss was the dessert, which was a tasteless chocolate brioche crisp with a lemon sorbet. This was an unfortunate ending to an otherwise good meal.Again, decent meal, but would not be worthy of a star if Michelin were to come to Montreal. I think most courses were good on their own, but they didn’t match with each other. It was a bit confusing. I’d prefer the experience to tell a story, or feel more purposeful.“
“What a discovery! Delicious and hearty meals in a very welcoming and warm environment. Whether you order your meals to go or dine in, you will not be disappointed. There is plenty of variety to please all tastes, fresh ingredients and impeccable service! Bring your taste buds on an adventure and visit this place for yourself, I highly recommend!“

“Wow, what a taste bud tasting culinary experience! I had a wine pairing and really appreciated this option of changing wines depending on our choice of dishes. In the end, I took 3 starters and tasted exquisite wines (private imports) with perfect pairings. A tempting menu, we want to try everything. New tastes, discoveries of dishes concocted with local ingredients. A warm welcome from one of the owners who gave us all the necessary explanations (we asked a lot of questions ;-) to finally make our choices. Truly, a remarkable first experience, we will definitely repeat it. I encourage you to go there, you will leave with the real smile of someone who pays with satisfaction (which is not always the case...).Parking: In front on the street or behind the building via a small back street.“
“Good and friendly service. We really liked the shrimp risotto. Excellent seasoning. Dish served well. For an additional CA$8, we had a green salad for starters, which was very good, and a dessert, which is very good value for money. We tested the pistachio mousse. Great. Very good taste in the assembly of the dishes, although the menu is not long.“

“This is the number one restaurant in Montreal. Food is insane. Drinks are unique and their wine selection goes well with their menu. To top it off, the service is unmatched. “It was delicious, an impeccable 4-course service and a culinary experience discovered for us, fusion and tasty flavors, to be repeated regularly. The choice and the food and wine pairing suggestions are judicious and the pisco sour is great! The service, a little long but since it was Valentine's Day and it was full, it's OK. Courteous and attentive staff. A must!“

“I've wanted to go to Lou Nissart for a long time. We were slow to get there given the distance to travel. Well, we should have gone there long before. A lovely day in the company of the friendliest owners. Tasty cuisine, full of flavor and well presented. Everything was delicious! There were four of us with four different dishes and everything was successful. It was obviously worth the trip and we hope to be able to return soon. Thank you to our hosts.“

“Great place, with a good variety of Belgian beers. However, as a true Belgian, he misses certain essential specialties such as peaches with tuna, American fries, etc. The mussels were good but nothing really special. I still recommend it to all my Belgian friends!“

“Service for lunch was very slow, but service for dinner was very fast. Weirdly the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu, but the sandwich and lunch options aren't great, better for dinner. I did at least have a good poke bowl for lunch, tons of tuna which i thought was great and plenty of mango and other fruit. Really sizable bowl and quite filling. Had the pasta for dinner and it was actually quite good - a spicy vodka sauce was very tasty. It was a large portion but rather heavy so I didn't come close to finishing the serving. It's a convenient option for sure and decent overall.“

“Possibly the best restaurant experience we have had. We visited while on vacation in Old Montreal and we were lucky enough to be there for a live blues band. We had the garlic snails as an appetizer and freshly baked warm rolls were brought to the table as well. The Lamp Chops were out of this world as was my wifes Filet Mignon. That was followed by a crazy good creme brulee. The drinks were professionally made as well and were exceptional. On top of all this the server named Rad was no less than perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves throughout the night. He also allowed us all the time we wanted for a nice meal and music. Thank you for a memorable night.“

“The cutest Ice cream shop on Mont royal, love the terasse overlooking the busy street. Plenty of choices for ice cream, but their soft serve is my go-to especially with the sheer amount of chocolate flavors you can dip it in. “This bistro has a cozy feel. We had breakfast here. Food portions were very generous. Service was attentive. Great value.Parking: As always, check street parking time restrictions, because there are restrictions, but for us we were able to park (around 11a.m. on a Friday) very nearby for free.“
“I absolutely adore this restaurant. I plan my visits in advance for special occasions and spend the afternoon before excited for what I might order. I also enjoy going alone and sitting at the bar, which is nice on the way home from being out. My favourite menu items have been the chèvre with confit tomatoes, the steak frites (which I prefer with salad), the house ravioli (French style Italian food will always win me over) and the tartare. The desserts here are also delicious. People love the fish soup, I am however not a fan but I think it's just personal preference. It's one of their signature items so I recommend trying it and deciding for yourself. The restaurant is fully staffed with a very courteous host, servers who know the menu by heart, and food runners who fill water and clear plates very attentively. I love the service and food comes out in a timely manner. The kitchen is hidden away behind swinging saloon doors and I'm curious what goes on in there. I get the sense that it's very loud and busy like a well oiled machine. I imagine a blur of white chef hats and jackets quickly cutting, cooking, and plating. Or maybe it's a small quiet efficient team. Who knows? Only the employees.“

“Saint-Laurent Café: A hidden culinary treasure in BouchervilleIn the heart of Old Boucherville, lies a little culinary treasure: the Saint-Laurent Café. As soon as you walk through the door, you are charmed by the warm and authentic atmosphere that reigns in the establishment. The menu is original and diverse, offering dishes ranging from deviled eggs with caviar (a classic of French gastronomy) to aged Quebec beef striploin, including delicious braised leeks accompanied by a butter sauce and homemade paneer cheese. All the dishes are exceptional, both for the quality of the ingredients and the finesse of the flavors. As my father so eloquently said during our dining experience: “We have a restaurant worthy of the greatest gourmet restaurants right around the corner from our house, damn us! ".The service is also exceptional. Our host, Guillaume, offered us unparalleled, attentive and professional service. Not to mention the talented chef Laurent in the kitchen, a genius in the kitchen!I was even convinced to try carrot cake to end our wonderful evening, even though I don't usually like carrot cakes. I did well to trust Guillaume! This cake was simply divine. Try it and you will understand. In summary, our experience at Saint-Laurent Café was perfect. I recommend this establishment 1000%. It’s a real little culinary gem to discover!“
