“This was my first experience with Pâtisserie Lawrence V., and it was excellent from start to finish. The ordering process and follow-ups were seamless, and the team was incredibly accommodating.

The custom cake was outstanding; a vanilla sponge layered with raspberry tart jam and pistachio Chantilly, finished with a dark chocolate ganache.

It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious.

“Started last Friday’s day off with a stop at the amazing Cafe dei Campi. Fully veganized Italian pastries and small pizzas. Soups and salads too but I stuck to the Italian specialties. Hazelnut filled tortellini melt in your mouth pastries. Amarettis and Biscotti. The essential Italian cafe’s big espresso machine which makes the perfect double espresso with the layer of crema and their cappuccino with perfect foam. Accompanied with a flaky delicious cornetto, it felt like heaven. Much chatting with my friend and a necessary second cornetto and espresso completed our visit by closing time. We had lucked out with a table. Had a great rest of the day that right from the start, arriving at the cafe there was a couple with their little boy wearing a Metallica t-shirt. Of course I had to comment, he was so cute and responsive to my speaking to him. And found out he’s a true fan of heavy metal music, this beautiful 4 year old boy named Sandro. So the day was pretty perfect.🖤“

Niché au bout de la rue Chabot dans le Plateau Est, ce petit café de quartier est un véritable bijou culinaire. Dès qu’on entre, on est accueilli avec chaleur et bienveillance par une équipe souriante, attentionnée et passionnée. Le service est tout simplement exemplaire — on se sent chez soi. Le menu est court, mais chaque plat est maîtrisé avec soin. La tarte aux tomates du Québec est une merveille : pâte feuilletée parfaite, tomates savoureuses, cheddar vieilli, le tout relevé d’herbes de Provence... un pur plaisir. La quiche aux épinards est douce et ensoleillée, et les viennoiseries? Un festival de textures et de parfums : croissants, chocolatines, financiers... tout est fait maison, frais du jour. There was a short queue when we arrived 7.30am midweek. You'll find a nice range of mostly French style breads, tarts, pastries and bakery products. We particularly liked their quiche and almond filled croissants. Coffees served up on the day were very good as well. This seemed like a great boulangerie, one we'd like visit regularly if we lived in the area. Would gladly revisit next time in Montreal.“

“Imbattable à Montréal... Il faudrait même possiblement aller à Paris pour trouver mieux. Nous sommes clients depuis l'ouverture il y à 15 ans. Leurs lattes sont incroyables aussi. En fait, tout est excellent et nous sommes très chanceux de les avoir sur la rive sud. J'ai quasiment le goût de supprimer cette recommandation pour mieux garder le secret 😂!“

“I’m visiting from abroad and came specifically to try poutine and BeaverTail. Viviane was wonderful, kind, very patient and helped me order. The bacon poutine and the brownie BeaverTail were both delicious, prepared quickly, and packed perfectly for takeout. I loved the BeaverTail, the texture was so soft and crunchy at the same time. Would definitely recommend, and the price was fine!“

Crepe got cold in the meantime. Hot chocolate delivered after the crepe. When paying, the cashier had to search for my bill. Hope they sort out their service.“

You think you want one thing, turn to the left, and boom there's even more chocies. The almond croissant is actually next level. Their pizza sauce is sensational. “I was looking for a little bakery and jutst happened to stumble upon this gem. The pistachio eclair was the best I’ve ever had! I also got a croissant, it was good but a little dense for my taste. There are so many options all of which looked amazing. If you’re ever nearby and need a pastry stop by here.“
