“I’ve ordered from here a few times through Uber Eats and takeout. Waitress was really nice. The food is always excellent. I’ve only tried their spicy beef pho and grilled chicken vermicelli plates.

Today it was boneless chicken thigh with the later however the last time it was chicken breast. I much prefer thighs.

Edit: on my 6/7th try, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered during the day time however it seemed like day old chicken.“

“I stumbled upon this place on a weekend getaway with my husband. The bahn mi is so good that my husband and I picked up the grilled chicken and the classic ham bahn mi on friday night for supper and we went back again on Sunday for lunch before heading home. The bread is super fresh, delicious classic ingredients. So good. Would totally recommend and I will definitly be back. Service was quick, courteous and friendly.“

“Pho Bac 97 is easily one of the best comfort food spots in Verdun. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. The ambiance is simple but cozy, and the whole place feels genuinely authentic and family-run in the best possible way.

The lady serving us was incredibly kind, attentive, and polite the entire time. You can tell they really care about customers and take pride in what they do. Service was also impressively fast — our food came out super quickly even though the restaurant was busy.

Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade. The broth was rich and comforting, the ingredients were fresh, and portions were generous without being overpriced. You get amazing quality for the price here, which is becoming rare these days. Very affordable and 100% worth it.

This is the kind of local restaurant you want to support because they consistently deliver good food, good service, and a great overall experience. Definitely coming back regularly. Highly recommended if you’re in Verdun and craving Vietnamese food.“

“If you want to have a basic meal in the center of Montreal, go to this place. It's located inside a big building at a food court with few other vendors, so you will get some choice. The meals are quite basic, pho soup is not as sophisticated as in other restaurants, but it's a good budget place to eat when you are touring Montreal. Walk around, there is a beautiful passage with a glass roof and a fountain, also some shops.

“I ordered a beef pho - it didn’t taste exactly like most pho I’ve had from other places and the noodles were quite short, but for its price the portion size isn’t bad at all and it was delicious anyway. The menu seems like it has good variety too.

The atmosphere isn’t entirely there because it’s literally a student cafeteria - there isn’t much atmosphere to be had.

Overall, I’d go back sometime, sure.“

“Pho Anh Vu is located in the heart of downtown Montreal across of the AMC, it’s the perfect spot to experience the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. This new restaurant opened 6 months ago offers delicious dishes and Pho soupes that hits the spot during those upcoming cold days. It is a very beautiful place nicely decorated and clean that is inviting.

“Pokai is a charming place! The decor is thoughtful and the wood-paneling makes for a cozy space. The service is rapid and the owner is always so so welcoming. I took the small size of the pho and it was quite filling. I didn't have to wait long for the food. The restaurant is quite small and can fit only three tables but makes for a more intimate setup. “We went to eat this evening after leaving Montreal. We wanted Vietnamese and/or Thai after 3 weeks of hospital food! A Google search and a click later, we stopped at this restaurant!
The food was excellent, we ate everything on our plates! The employees or probably the owners were very nice and smiling! I even left a 25% tip because good service has become rarer.

“I finally had time to write this. Since I really liked the seafood dish with crispy noodless from Nguyen Phi on CDN, that unfortunately was closed, we decided to go in and try it here, thinking that the experience could be similar. We were 3 at the table. We also ordered a third dish with shrimps, beef and chicken.

Without a doubt, the seafood, with noodless, as a whole, was better in the Nguyen Phi. There, the sauce was more flavorful, well seasoned. Richer and thicker. Here, it was like water.
As for the other dish, it was generally good, but according to my table companion, the shrimps were dry. So much so that he had a hard time removing them from the toothpick.
The service time was average. Nice atmosphere and clean place. Next time, I might try their Pho.“

“Freaking yum! Courteous service in French and English. Clean restaurant with a good temperature. And the food? Crazy good. The fried chicken leg, seasoned rice, and the crunchiest spring rolls. To top it off, I had a strawberry green tea and you could really taste the green tea-and so affordable. I'll be back, I'll tell friends!“
