“Always the bright part of my day to go in and pick up a little treat (pastries) or their fresh bagels and baguettes, and chat a little with Rami and Usha. They’re so friendly, and since I’ve been quite isolated (as we all have in the pandemic) it has been so special to have friendly people to just stop in to say a quick hello. My favourites are the bagels, the chocolatine and croissants!“

I had no idea this wonderful café existed here, but what an amazing discovery! The place has every element of excellence: elegant decor, calming music that soothes the mind, and a spotless cleanliness that truly stands out.
But the real secret behind this wonderful experience was the beyond-words service, specifically from the lovely Farouq. She is a girl of utmost politeness, kindness, and grace. She provided us with the absolute best service a visitor could ever ask for, capturing our hearts with her high morals and incredible attention to detail. A huge thank you to her for making our visit so exceptional!
The flavors here are incredibly rich and diverse, but the Tiramisu is a true masterpiece it literally melts in your mouth. A complete experience that is definitely worth repeating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“I like this place, but the WASHROOM IS NOT OPEN TO CUSTOMERS... and that is seriously not okay. When I come to sit and eat and drink food I am purchasing here, I don't think I should be expected to walk to the bathroom in Westmount Park. I do not want to give a non-recommendation review as it's been a rough time for businesses and the food and drinks at Mouton Noir are good - but if the bathroom policy remains in place, I don't see myself becoming a regular. There is no government rule that states that Cafes and restaurants have to keep their washrooms closed for customers.“

“😍We’ve recently moved to LaSalle and were so happy to find H8S café, they have the best Lattes in the area and really cute merchandise too. I’ve tried their hot sauce and bought a few greeting cards from them that were unique and funny, all made by local artists. They’re also located right by the water with a beautiful view as you sip on your beverage. A must visit!“

Right from the start, the atmosphere is great — calm, welcoming, and that beautiful green color palette gives the space such a fresh, cozy vibe 😌✨
One thing I really appreciate is how efficient the staff are ⏱️☕️. Even if I only have 5 minutes to spare, I can always count on getting my coffee on time without stress. That alone makes this place a lifesaver on busy days 🙌

The quality is consistently very good, definitely better than the nearby Olimpico in terms of taste. The beans were Ethiopian, which really showed through with brighter, cleaner flavors 🌍✨ However, I do have to say that the barista experience felt a bit limited — no real explanation or engagement about the beans or brew method, which felt like a missed opportunity.
One big issue for me:
When serving coffee in ceramic cups, the cups should be preheated 🔥☕️. Unfortunately, they weren’t — and the coffee cooled down way too fast. That’s a pretty significant downside, especially when you’re serving good-quality beans 😕❄️
That said, the staff are always kind, friendly, and genuinely warm 😊🤍. Beyond making great coffee, they really stand out when something unexpected happens — spills, confused customers, or anyone needing extra help. They step in quickly, graciously, and without attitude, which says a lot about the place 👏
Overall, I walk into this café knowing I’ll have a pleasant, welcoming experience 🌿✨

“Came here for my lunch break. Ordered the grilled chicken wrap. It was delicious and filling. They have awesome date squares bars that are soft and moist. Their is a nice selection of Panini sandwiches and wraps. Will definitely come back to try their other wraps and sandwiches.
Parking: For 30 minutes it's free to park after you must pay.“

“You can hardly find seating for a big group at this location but the one near place des arts has a gringotts ambience (harry potter).
The tigré cookie is a must. Best to skip the shakshuka cuz it’s very lack lustre and the poached egg is often over cooked.“
