“Met a friend for coffee and was my first time there. A quaint little place. Wasn’t crazy about a dog being inside due to allergies. Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered a macchiato and a plain croissant. The croissant was delicious. The coffee was also excellent. Super rich and full bodied. Once we ordered, we were told our items would be brought out to us on the sidewalk terrace. I asked the cashier to bring me extra sugar when he brought my coffee out. Coffees came and no sugar. Was quickly remedied by the waiter. A nice place with reasonably priced premium coffee. Will be back with my wife.

“I have been going to Cafe Souvenir for decades. It has always been consistently great even when the ownership changed a few times. While the former concept was fantastic with the passport menu and more choices than you could ever try, I love this current ownership and iteration of the cafe and menu. It’s owner run, so they know what they’re doing and the attention to detail is there. Warm milk with your coffee, omelettes brought straight from the pan, to name a few details I appreciate. They know how to cook; French from France style. So many restaurants in Montreal have gone up in price and down in value. Not Cafe Souvenir! They are doing it well and I highly recommend them. Great, friendly service. One of my regular brunch places.“

“I visited Un Amour des Thés yesterday with my girlfriend and it was the best, cutest little tea shop we've ever visited. The owners, Richard and Pascale, were extremely attentive and knowledgeable about tea and allowed us to try several to see what we liked. We ended up buying different variations of their matcha and all of them were so tasty! Please, if you're ever in Montreal pay them a visit! It will be more than worth your while. ?“

Original interior design (mix of different cultural influences and styles mostly Oriental and European)- every detail is adorable! Calm atmosphere perfect for reading and chilling (there is a little library with self-development books). They also have a Russian samovar and a lovely collection of artisanal herbal teas - natural blends of tisanes with Chakras names!! ❤️??? ?? mine was a Heart chakra tea today - and what’s yours? “Randomly walked in this place and was surprised how good it is. Service is quick although the place was packed, We tried the special stingray and steak dishes, very tasty although the ray is a bit difficult to eat and doesn't have much meat. Focaccia bread was amazing. Menu changes often so the best is to take the tasting chef menu. Although it's very good, it feels overpriced for the simple seating and service.“

Once I took a meeting here and this table next to me started talking really loudly and I guess it was kind of my fault for taking a meeting there but also u didn’t have to start screaming when I’m literally sitting right there holding my ears so I could hear my meeting but whatever it’s a Public space“

Hier le café était toujours bon mais ma gaufre m'est restée sur le coeur au sens figuré comme au sens propre : d'abord on m'avait oubliée, ok correct cela a été reconnu mais aucun geste commercial, ensuite je croque dans un morceau de gaufre, puis un 2eme ; étrange texture pour une gaufre? lourde, massive , pâteuse mais bon j'avale ....tellement sucrée et peu ou pas cuite....le coeur me lève et moi aussi , je sors prendre l'air ... est ce que j y retourne pour me plaindre mais cette fois ci de mauvaise humeur et patraque? Non je rentre chez moi afin de ne pas "peter ma coche en public" et l'envie disons de me retrouver dans ma salle de bain était plus forte . Ce matin je suis convaincue que ce que j'ai mangé était de la pâte à Muffin et non à gauffre! Comme la pâte était déja hyper sucrée , que le service avait rajouté du sucre par dessus et moi du sirop ! Imaginez....le tout ....je suis de ces personnes qui laisse la chance au joueur , j y retournerai c'est certain et des erreurs cela arrive ! Mais sachez et apprenez à gerer vos erreurs“

I tried out the spinach quiche, salad and some sweets.

Three color pasta salad was fresh, creamy and juicy with the cherry tomatoes. The salad wasn’t heavy and it was actually quite fulfilling.

Normally you would assume a chocolate cake to be heavy but this one wasn’t the case. It was light and airy with just the right amount of sweetness.
