“Oktoberfest done right at Kahnawake Brewing Company...in October, as it should be! 🤣 We shared a big pretzel with beer mustard and spicy beer cheese. I got the jagerschnitzel and she got the "wurst dog ever"...beer-battered bratwurst sausage with all the fixings. Only thing that was missing was the advertised pretzel bun! It definitely was far from the worst dog ever! 😜 It was very loud in there and service was slow, which I hope is not the norm for this place because the food, ambiance and beers are very good! Also, they increased the price of the pretzel by 20%. Overall 3.5/10 Our 1st visit at this brewery and not our last! 😃“

“This is the best falafel I've ever had anywhere! I wished I still lived in Montreal - I'd be at this place at least once a week. I will make sure to get there any time I am in town. Their vegan "meats" made of mushroom are fantastic as well.“

“An AI search for a local Resto featuring Italian plus Fish/ Steak to accomodate 3 adults & 2 teenagers brought up Scarolies Pasta Emporium in Pointe Claire! What a treasure! The decor and ambiance is typical Roman Neo-Classical on steroids, adding to the sensorial experience of chaos barely under control on a busy Labour Day Saturday evening. A very calm and pleasant waitress promptly set a warm, fresh packaged loaf of bread with a plate of oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. The menus true to Roman extravagance were HUMUNGOUS!!! The breaded Calamari were crispy and the octopus melted in my mouth. In lieu of tangy cocktail sauce their signature tomato puree was provided. One had a Minestroni which did not skimp on plenty of vegetables and the Ceasar salad was true to form, crunchy and fresh. One teenager who has sampled Chicken Parm from London & all over N. Amer. declared it to be the Best! I had a rich Linguini with a rosee infused cognac sauce, that had asparagus, shitake mushrooms, and morsels of lobster tail in the shell. OMG yummy. The only disappointment were the 2 Chicken Piccatas. The chicken medallions pounded paper-thin were grey? And the sauce was so yellow that one disappointed diner called it Chicken Lemonade. Both served with a full portion of Spaghetti Napoletana. I did not remove a star for this minor disappointment. There were also lots of pizza choices, fish and steaks as well. We opted for dessert despite being full. I would have liked to see more Italian options. Take-out containers were also gracefully provided. It's a pity we don't have this type of establishment in Montreal. If you have a car, well worth the 20 minute drive!“

“I am writing this review sitting here in Vancouver, BC. I lived in Montreal for five long years in Côte-des-Neiges (same neighbourhood as Chez Lee )and only came across this gem 2 years before leaving. Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING! Especially Chicken Katsu and Bibimbap-two of my absolute favs. ❤️ You can blindly trust when I say they serve authentic, fresh, and big portions of food. I miss it everyday 🥹Hope to return soon to cure some of my nostalgia ❤️“

“Excellent service every time I go from all the staff. They treat you like family. Very attentive to the customers. The staff is always polite and there to help you. Even though the place is extremely popular and busy during rush hour, I have never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for them to find me a table. For bigger groups, they accept reservations. Food is delicious with good portions at a good price. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for authentic Greek food, packed with fresh flavour with many healthy options on the menu and polite, professional and smiling staff. One of my favourite restaurants in Montreal!“

“I somehow managed to be given the best seat in the house: next to the kitchen, and right next to the chef, Josh Crowe. The experience of sitting at the bar allowed me to better appreciate the inner workings of this 30-year old establishment. The staff were as kind and supportive of each other, as they were to the guests, who filled the restaurant, bar, and terrace on this warm May evening. I observed Chef Josh and co-owner Barbara Irwin continuously interacting with each staff member. I had never witnessed such a high level of communication, where information flowed seamlessly from the front of the restaurant to the kitchen and vice versa. My meal began with a great cocktail and was followed by a glass of Spanish red, which paired very well with the best pork chop that I have ever had. The 3-inch thick chop was perfectly cooked and the complex flavours of the dish melted together harmoniously. It has been a few years since my last meal there, but I will be back shortly to enjoy the social sidewalk terrace, which offers the best in NDG people watching. You may decide to go to the Tavern for the food, cocktails, and wine list, but you will also be treated to the culture that Barbara & Josh have established over the past decade. They have created something special and seem fully committed to maintaining the same high level of culinary experience and appreciation for their patrons. My overall impression of the Monkland Tavern is one highlighting a collaborative team approach, effective two-way communication, a concentrated attention to every detail of the dining experience, professional courtesy, and mutual respect. I was impressed and you surely will be too.“

“I've been ordering here for quite a while now and order the same sub all the time the 14 inch #15, absolutely no lettuce + no dressing, dressing on the side .This time I ordered extra extra steak and was looking so forward to the great subs that they serve but when I got home, this sub had all kinds of lettuce on it. The thing is I'm extremely allergic to lettuce so I couldn't accept it.When I called back to try and take care of this situation, he insisted that The only way it could be fixed was to bring it back immediately, I live on 5th Avenue in Verdun. This was quite an expensive sub, over 30 dollars with tip, having to drive all that distance, they were the one making the mistake and I think this situation was not taking care of in a proper or professional way. It would be difficult to return if this how they would treat there customers. I wish this situation never happened.“

“Forty members of our family and friends gathered at Bocci Restaurant after a funeral, and they took great care of us. They helped lighten the mood at the end of a difficult day. People truly enjoyed the food — everything was fresh, well prepared, and genuinely tasty. The staff was professional, helpful, and attentive throughout. Billy and Kara were easy to work with and took care of every detail with such professionalism that they made planning and co‑ordinating this part of the day stress free.
