“Probably my review will not change the great ratings here, but I would like to say that Di Rienzo’s grocery has become one of my favourite places. The staff is welcoming and nice, sandwiches are delicious, and they have the best cannoli ever!!
Today before my dancing class I went from Kanata to downtown to take some food for evening. Unfortunately, I fell with the cannoli and broke them. The staff substituted them for me without any charge ( I was ready to pay for that, as it was my fault). It was an amazing gesture from them, really appreciate it 🤍

“Hungry Human menu item are delicious and very filling. Easily splitable and you pick two sides. I skipped breakfast and had the item for lunch. I will be full till 6:00 pm at least. Very good.“

“Went to Fatboys for the first time tonight and it won’t be our last. After waiting for a seat we were met by the owner who welcomed us and told us we would enjoy the food and he wasn’t wrong we had the Kentucky shared platter and it was definitely filling and the price was affordable. Our server was Emma who filled our drinks and told us what food was coming and what dips were available. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be back“

“Stayed at the hotel for Christmas and it was great. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable. The shower was great and loved the quality of the toiletries and products provided. The rooms are also very quiet, I knew the room beside was occupied but I never heard anything. The staff was nice, helpful, kind. The restaurant is fantastic! Only downside, there is no pool or spa. But, I will definitely be returning in my future travels.“

“This is a great café! Not only is the coffee always fresh, but the consistent, gourmet-level of their sandwiches, dinners and desserts is exceptional. Their soups are all delicious and they often have gluten-free items - including soups. The friendly staff make you feel like your an old friend. Highly recommend Café Deluxe.“

“Always delicious scones, scone sandwiches and coffee! The staff is very friendly!
The only issue that I have been experiencing repeatedly is that they run out of ingredients time to time, every time is a different ingredient, I have seen eggs, different jams, and clotted cream. Luckily they always have scones! I hope the supply issue gets resolved!
For eggs specifically I have experienced them run out close to the end of their breakfast sandwich service time, to avoid that, I recommend going at least an hour earlier. For scones, you should be good all day long.“

“Food is delish and great value. Word of warning for those looking for late night eats, was told the store actually closes at 10:40ish (as in you must leave) so best to arrive before 9:30.

EDIT: In response to below, we were told that last call was 10:30PM. We got there at ~10:10 knowing what we were going to get. My statement still stands, best to avoid going too late.“

They were very communicative and even made sure the cake was delivered to our venue with extra care and in a box that was approved by the venue. “We spent an amazing morning at Brûlerie Aladdin (Greber) yesterday, coffee was surreal and the place itself has its own feels and inspires relaxation. “My rating is actually a 3.75 - so rounded up to 4 stars. In the city, Ottawa, this is a safe Pizza Pizza. We ask for ours 'well done.' Crust and the top is pretty darn good when 'well done.' Never burnt - basically, just not a hurried pizza. Quite reasonably priced pizza options to choose from too. But, not all Pizza Pizza franchise locations are as good as here. (Smiths Falls has a surprisingly good Pizza Pizza location too.)

“Nice place for pastries and delicatessen. I had great expectations based on their reviews. Sadly for me, the options were very limited, but maybe it was just bad luck or bad timing.
The products have no labels so you have to ask what’s every single product. That’s very inconvenient, a cookie that looks like chocolate might be ginger. Labels would make like easier for everyone 🙂“

Luxe was suggested by our hotel (Hyatt-Anadaz) we have had a happy hour that exceeds happy. Oysters amazing. Mussels that tip the scale and small bites steak, Frits, are the bomb. “Tonight there was a group of men promoting white supremacy and confederate flags in Maclarens. They confirmed this verbally to us when we asked about their shirt. When we told the manager in an attempt to help their business and let them know what kind of space they are promoting and allowing, and that they were losing us as customers, they said "their money is green".
