“Good service, and delicious food“

“My second time in less then a month (May & June 2023). The portion is huge, the quality is excellent. We took the Mega meal at 199.99$CAD (Mega family portion) with calamari plate at 17.99$CAD... everything was excellent or great. Hope they will continuted those portion & be honnest in their price. It's a must to go. They have much other things in their menu at 20$CAD or more... fo my case, it was a birthday issue (small group). It's a ***** (5 stars) for sure :)“

I recently ate at this simple but welcoming place, and I'm delighted to share my review. The food was spectacular: tasty, fresh, and very generous in quantity. For seafood lovers, this place is a true paradise. In addition, it is a fishmonger where you can also eat or order takeaway. I highly recommend to those looking for a good seafood meal without pretension but with great taste.“

“We took our son and wife for their b/days on Sat. Oct 4 2025. No waiting, Place clean, ambience good, waiter great. It was our 1st time and in general the food was very good,(filet mignon, done to taste, Salmon, fries ,which were dry, tasteless and cold. Frozen fries are way tastier at the fast food restaurants; McDonald's, Harveys, A+W. etc. With a restaurant of this calibre we certainly expected fresh fries. It really spoiled our dinner, as we all chose fries with our meals. It's nearly insulting. If you don't have the facilities to offer fresh fries, then just serve baked or mashed. Sorry! it really left us with a bd taste in our mouths. Will we go again??? Not so sure! Sadly! P.S the stars are not right. Overall 4 stars, Food is 4 stars, service is 5 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars“

“We went Saturday evening and the food is still good, steak with pepper and mushroom sauce, Caesar salad, Greek potatoes, fries, rice, everything is delicious :) The waiter, I forgot his name, but we were there table no 31, very friendly, smiling, very attentive despite the large crowd and from what I understood there was a lack of staff and even if the service was very long almost 1 hour, I have nothing negative to say.
We were in a hurry because we had a show planned, we were afraid of arriving late but the understanding of the waiter brought us dishes very quickly to bring the leftovers that we didn't have time to finish and our bill allowed us to to arrive on time. “Friend of ours thought it was time we try out this restaurant that she frequents. So we jumped in the car and made our way to Laval and sat in this very well decorated restaurant that made you feel at home in a calming environment, you know the one, no kids and no dogs barking. The music volume was set just right, where you were able to have a lovely conversation among friends. Great atmosphere to enjoy your meal that you will definitely talk about on your drive home. You are now wondering why I talking so much about the restaurant itself and not the food? How many times have you dropped hundreds of dollars for a special occasion and the restaurant had the music so loud you couldn’t tell your server what you are ordering. People all raising their voices so they can carry a conversation? Well now lets talk about the food, the pictures will speak thousands of words. I highly, and I mean highly recommend the BBQ octopus, the Prime Rib and the lobster tails were 10/10 eyes closed. The Rib Steak was cook properly medium rare but I like to have it basted with warm butter and finally two last were calamari could have stayed one more minute and Lamb Chops touch over by one minute but all in all I highly recommend Sterlings Steakhouse for those special occasions.“

The front desk staff gave me your card as i was raving about our amazing dinner last night!

I wanted to express my pleasant surprise with an unconventional and unexpectedly superior culinary experience for a hotel restaurant.

I had the salmon which was artfully presented and tasted delicious with each bite bringing a new delight.

My hubby had the pork cassoulet with sweet potato and salad. He said it was a perfect portion and so unique with the thin crisp sweet potatoes on top. He’s a pilot and has eaten in his share of airport hotel restaurants .

We both had the tiki semaphore cocktail 🍹 which brought us both back to the Tiki lounge in Waikiki! Thanks for the mini vacation in every sip!

The service was amazing! Everyone was extra professional and well trained for a 5 star experience.

We look forward to our next meal at Semaphore and would actually plan and recommend an outing there to local friends and family.

“Really good for the price!

There is a daily menu when you eat at the restaurant. With soup, fountain drink and dessert included. Really cheap for a restaurant in 2024!

If you want something fancier, go elsewhere, but otherwise, for real, it does the job!

Poutine is not recommended, it is grated cheese (quite weird for a poutine in a restaurant in Quebec…). But otherwise, the rest is fine!“

“I went with a friend and we had a wonderful time. I had the fish and chips which was very good. I loved the ambiance, we had a great spot with a lovely view of the water. It was one of the hottest days of the summer but the patio was perfectly shaded. The staff we interacted with were all so very nice. I would definitely go back. No, it's not a fancy restaurant with fancy food, but our experience was wonderful.

“We are great fans of the Imperial restaurant. We love to go for Dim Sum and their dumplings are very plump filled with yummy goodness. We also adore their sticky rice. We tend to go first thing in the morning and there is always space. The staff are pleasant and service is very fast. We received our order 7 minutes after placing it online using the code on our table. We recommend the Imperial for Dim Sum fans in the West Island as we are loyal customers who are so happy they are here.“
