“The food is always good. They have lots of vegan options and the coffee is one of the best around. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Just ask what is vegan as some items contain dairy and they add meat into their menu. This restaurant is no longer vegetarian but there is something for everyone there. “Best food on the planet, it’s as if you’re eating on a summer evening in Greece. I recommend the grilled octopus and Greek salad as well as the pork chops!! Truly, it melts in your mouth and each bite is flavourful. This is one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal, I don’t think any other place can compare. The service was awesome, staff were very kind and always engaging with us making sure our service was good. This place deserves a 5 star rating, even higher if possible“

This is no-nonsense quality fresh greek food.
The moussaka is a real winner here: delightfully tender and with authentic fresh meat.

“It's our 1st time here, we came to celebrate our 36yr wedding anniversary, we definitely came to the right place. The mixed seafood platter was to die for! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

“Among the priciest Mediterranean Restaurants in Montreal, one is never disappointed when Great Quality Foods and A-1 Service are provided in a comfortable ambiance for many to dine at. Our Salads were sumptuous and the fried zucchini tower was a treat; mind you getting to the tzatziki center core proved to be interesting. The grilled octopus was delicious and enjoyed by all of us who just wanted a “taste”. The steaks that were ordered were grilled to perfection as were the lamb chops that were perfect. Our only issue was these dishes were served with fries instead of being accompanied by roasted potatoes or some other side. Deserts were fresh and tasted homemade. The eight (8) of us we all said this was one of the best meals we have enjoyed this year.“

“I whole-heartedly recommend Mama C in Montreal's Vieux Port. The quality of everything that is presented here (the attention to detail in the decor, the atmosphere, the service, the creativity of the platings and recipes, the deliciousness of every dish, the many options available, the quantity of each portion and so much more) is incredibly high. We loved every dish, individual portions and shared ones, and we felt at home in a cozy atmosphere with a very attentive staff. Top notch! It is not inexpensive but it is absolutely worth it. While on a business trip to Montreal, Quebec, our Lifestyle Montreal manager recommended an authentic Greek restaurant in the neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed their lunch special, as the picture shows. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was lovely.
It was a pleasant surprise to discover that all their food is Halal.

“We can't believe we waited so long to try this restaurant. The meal was delicious and generously portioned. The staff was knowledgeable and extremely attentive. “Oh my days... Best restaurant in the neighborhood. I went there on a cold yet sunny Saturday afternoon, not expecting too much. Boy to say i was satisfied with my experience would be an understatement. Food was absolutely scrumptious and the service was impeccable. Couldn't ask for a better lunch date with my girl. The waitress refilled my coffee without me needind to ask. Plus prices are never seen before in this economy. Anyways 10 outta 10 would recommend.“

This time we'd given without hesitation 6 stars for the overall quality and especially for the combo Food/Service/Atmosphere if it were an option. - premises renovated, logically crowded, especially on week-ends but everything is perfectly managed and taken care of; - previous overall already 5 stars dinner experience even better now; - been taken care personnally by the delightful Ayu and her teammates; - even the owner Spiro honoured us with his touching presence to pay his respects on this birthday occasion; - and so on, and so on... One cannot ask for more than that... Previously: Overall, an absolutely delightful dinner experience on the occasion of wife's birthday (20+ years together). We enjoyed everything: the meal quality & freshness, the ambience, the value for the price, etc. The service was top quality (greatly improved from an already high quality one a year ago). We’d love to visit again. We'd highly recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Psst! A friendly tip for an optimal dinner experience like ours: do try to obtain to be taken care by the waitress named Ayu who was simply amazing, friendly and caring, she’ll most certainly make you feel cozy and at home (but an improved one, especially the cuisine and the service) …“
