Visiting from Toronto with my mom and two daughters. My kids are super super picky so for me I would have ventured to various restaurants in Montreal I decided to settle for something i can guarantee my kids will eat and im happy we did stop at chalet bbq.

Delicious food service really good super busy in there and clean bathroom.

“Very clean. Seems newly renovated but the ambiance and decor was exceptional. The food was freshly prepared. We had the vegetarian thali plates and the servings were generous for the price - all under $20.

The food was spiced according to our requests and the breads were freshly baked. Our server was attentive and well acquainted with the menu items.

“Very vibey inside like you're in a street market in Asia. Also each table feels a little intimate in setting and there are wall separators so it's not too loud.

Each table has a range hood it's not too loud and it's super efficient I didn't come out with my clothes or hair smelling. You get a bunch of side dishes you can refill unlimited and the food was all really good. Our bibimbap bowl didn't have the crust at the bottom but they corrected the issue. The meat all tasted really good. We also ordered a marinated meat but got the unmarinated and was charged unmarinated meat so nbd but I would say to double check your order to be sure it's what you got and up to your standard. They're accommodating.

Service was great, you can flag down any server and ask for what you need.

We got the short ribs, pork Jowl, pork shoulder. All delicious, different, tender. Various sauces too. Next time, I'd probably not get the bibimbap and just more meat.“

The food portions are perfect for 1 person, definitely filling. On average, we go there at least 6 times or more a month.“
