“Tried Fritomania and the poutine was pretty solid overall. The fries were really good and I liked that they use peanut oil but the gravy was a little off for me because it tasted like it wasn’t mixed properly, the top was kind of plain and then it got really salty near the bottom. Still a good poutine though and I’d give it a 4 out of 5. The deep fried cheese curds were such a good idea and easily a 5 out of 5, crispy on the outside and really cheesy inside and probably my favourite thing we got.“

“Been meaning to try this place for weeks. Small fry with gravy & burger (mayo, mustard, onions, relish, ketchup) $14. She hand cuts her own fries. Good amount plus excellent gravy. “Have eaten here a dozen times or so over the past few years. All the food has been really good. Portion sizes are great, a large poutine is usually more than enough for two people.

“This local watering hole is getting more and more popular because of the bands they’ve been booking lately.
I was there on Thursday evening to see Travelling South, a local southern rock band. Their set started at 6:30 so I decided to grab a bite.
It was so crowded I thought my food would take forever to arrive, but it was lightning fast! I bit into my chicken club wrap and I was surprised that the sandwich was served ice cold and with the driest, overcooked chicken I have had in recent times. It’s a good thing I had a Sunbrew to wash it down.
The wait staff was amazing and kind. Had I complained about the sandwich I’m sure I could have had something else, however I was starving so just ate the sandwich but wished I’d ordered something different.
My friend’s chicken wings looked very tempting and they had no complaints.“

“Visited this A&W and overall it was decent. The mozza burger was tasty and well done, but the fries came out cold, which was disappointing even if they were still edible. I also didn’t like the onion ring the texture and flavor just weren’t great.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they serve breakfast all day long except for one item, which is convenient. There’s a drive‑thru, but the restaurant itself is quite small, so seating can feel limited. There is an outside seating as well.

Not a bad stop, but definitely room for improvement.“

“I usually pick-up or order through Uber eats from this location and I have been mostly having my dinner here. Their grilled chicken is the best and cooked to perfection, which is always tasty and hot.

The reason for my mixed review is because of their customer service. I ordered a late night meal, as usual, and reached there pretty late. Even after waiting for 10~15mins no one bothered to check on my order and I was standing there like a fig tree!

The guy who was there, probably an arab guy, was video calling his girlfriend holding his mobile and touching all the foods for the pending orders at the same time. Saw him going inside the kitchen and taking off his shirt to show his topless body over the video call.

They are a perfect example of how some restaurants let customer service fall by the wayside when business is booming — driven by their brazen confidence that a few unhappy customers won’t make a difference.

PS: Order online, don't go to the restaurant.
