Very welcoming place but quite ordinary in terms of decor, even if it was busy the ambient noise level was respectable.
Service is fast and courteous, the plates are generous but no wow effect, it is lunch after all.“

“You know the saying you pay for what you get. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other places we have gone but oh so worth it. Home run on the food. the wait can be a bit long some times, trust me there's a reason for it.“

“This is a warm and charming brunch place. We love the decor all over the restaurant featuring the marine lifestyle of Ile de Madelaine. The food was very good and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had pomme chaude waffles and it really satiated my sweet tooth. We would like to come back again.“

“It is a very popular spot, which doesn’t surprise me because the food was delicious. I got the pesto Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, the staff was super nice, and we got our food very fast after ordering. My only ick is where we were seated. The table is way too low compared to the bench that it made it a bit uncomfortable to eat.“

“We were greeted with a warm smile. The professionalism of the staff really stood out, particularly Garo and Yannick, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable.
The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the food.
Garo and Yannick were exceptionally attentive, making sure our coffee cups were never empty and checking in on us just the right amount.
We highly recommend Les Fringales - Déjeuner Dîner to anyone looking for a great breakfast experience. I can’t wait to return and indulge in more of their delectable offerings!

“I had to wait outside for a bit at 10:15, but there was coffee to warm up and they took our names down. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was cool, the employees were friendly and I really liked my eggs benedict with salmon gravlax. I'm going to have to go back because I was hesitating between four different options!“

“My daughter and I used to try most of the restaurants in Chateauguay for breakfast. We haven't tried any new ones in years and don't intend too. Food is good, prices are comparable to other restaurants. Service is very good and the staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous. Makes for a nice atmosphere. I ask for the same waitress all the time but the other wait staff still say hello, how are you.“

“My first experience with a French breakfast. The manager was very helpful in helping us decide what to order, the recommendations were on par and the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. Our server was attentive and helpful and provided excellent service. The food and service went far beyond our expectations!“

“Unexpected gem! Gave this place a try (among several other breakfast/brunch options on the St Laurent corridor) and very happy we did! Great quality and value for breakfast, wonderful vibe/atmosphere, and the service was top notch! Definitely got the feeling it's a neighbourhood fave among locals and I can easily see why. “I came here for Sunday breakfasts March 12th and chocolate pancakes. Never had chocolate pancakes. GREAT! And March 26th, 2022 blueberry pancakes were very good. Best was? Chocolate pancakes. Great job. 4 out of 5!“

“Went there on Friday, November 8th at about 8:45 in the morning and had Greek yogurt fruit bowl. Wildly huge portions! Fruit was very fresh, poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Staff provides excellent service and is always on top of refilling coffee and water. Highly recommend!“
