“From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the very friendly, completely bilingual staff. Great variety on the menu with something for everyone. Our food arrived very quickly, prepared perfectly. We will be coming back this way on our trip, and although we will be staying at a different hotel, we will likely come back here.

“Very interesting modern restaurant, bright interior and great staff. It is a bit cramped in spots but keeps a cozy vibe. The food is excellent, I really enjoyed the scallop ceviche and Guinea fowl which had great balance and structure. Would definitely return!“

“ca fait plusieurs fois que je vais à ce resto, la bouffe est excellente et le service aussi, je n’ai jamais été déçu sauf…J’y suis retourné il y a quelques semaines, j’ai pris une coquille St-Jacques,et un verre de vin 77$(avant pourboire ) … c’était bon mais j’ai eu l’impression d’avoir mangé une entrée, j’ai souper en arrivant à la maison car j’avais très faim . Ce soir j’ai acheté des coquilles St Jacques au IGA au coût de 4$, que j’ai servi sur des pâtes avec un verre de vin ça me reviens à 8$, et je ne ressent pas l’envie de me faire un autre souper , la portion était très généreuse et le goût comparable… mes amies aussi ont été déçu aussi ce soir là , le service était excelent mais on s’entend c’est tres cher“

“This restaurant instantly became one of my favorites. I had the Vegana Piccante, and it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've had at a restaurant. The fagioli salad was also super fresh and flavorful. The staff were kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. An all-around lovely place. I’ll definitely visit again next time I'm in the city :)“

“J’ai adoré mon expérience au Tora-Ya! En entrée, nous avons mangé le Kara-agé & Gyoza au porc. C’était excellent!! Comme repas principal nous avons mangé le ramen Ômori Shôyu. C’était succulent!! Je recommande ce resto aux amateurs de ramen! 🍜“

“I made a reservation to eat here as, honestly, there weren't many reservations left the weekend before Christmas and I managed to grab this one. Absolutely outstanding. It felt very old school, but in a good way! They opened the door to my Uber, which was so unexpected, and we were greeted at the door by the maitre d', as well as 3 or 4 waitstaff. Someone offered to take our coats and then we were seated. They will cook some of their offerings tableside. A proposal took place while we were there and was announced by the maitre d' after she accepted, with the whole restaurant celebrating the engagement. Everyone was super attentive and great at clearing the table or refilling waters without being disruptive. Our food was, I'm told, outstanding. Unfortunately, I had a cold and couldn't taste anything. Ugh, so frustrating. But my steak was tender and my family said everything (including my meal) was delicious! I would love to go back and order the same thing and actually taste it this time!!!“

“This is my family's favorite restaurant in Quebec city. We have been coming to this establishment for 7 years. The food is excellent!! Our favorite is the burrata, cesear salad and their pizzas. The one with spicy honey is amazing!! We will continue coming during every vacation.“

“We visited Sept 21, 2025 for dinner. It was absolutely perfect. The location in the old port area was vibrant and beautiful. The service was great and the food was creative and exceeded our already high expectations based on other reviews. I was hesitant to go there because I’m not a big fan of rabbit, their specialty, but I gave it a try. We had the rabbit rillettes appetizer and rabbit pot pie and rabbit poutine for mains. It was all just amazing! The atmosphere on the heated porch was cozy too! La pin Sauté gets my highest recommendation!“

“On Dec 7 around 6pm: the two ladies who served us were amazing! Great service, well organized, and the menu is fantastic! We got the beer flight and all 4 beers I tried were great. Good sour beers/gose and the food was great too. Highly recommend trying their beer and food!“

“I visited this restaurant four times during my stay in Quebec city and never was disappointed. Excellent, attentive service and fantastic customer centric attitude.
The breakfast offerings are varied and accommodate food, allergies. The dinner offerings were also excellent and fantastic service to go along with it. Nice cocktails, and experienced staff.
Price is reasonable and in line with their offering.
Truly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.“

“Best sushi in Quebec city so far. Most places don’t compare on the food freshness and taste. They have more than the cheap hot hakutsuru sake available. All the food is good for all type of budget. scallop trio is a must as well as the salmon with grilled skin.
I did takeout for my birthday and it was also superb. This is my go to place to splurge on the best sushi (but their bento style meal is also very good)“

“Fillet mignon with peppercorn gravy was outstanding - the best I’ve ever had. Sweet potato fries were great. Roasted vegetables were enjoyable but had started to cool off by the time they arrived at the table. The Cajun shrimp had also started to cool off, which was disappointing. The nachos my wife and I shared as an appetizer were very good. Dessert was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and our visit. The decor in the bar area was eclectic and fun and our waiter was attentive and friendly.“
