“We went before our daughter’s dance recital and to celebrate the end of the year! It was amazing! We have been to other GLs and this one was super impressive! Our waitress was such a doll. We were kind of all over the place with different ages and our dancer coming in later, however she was able to give excellent service and our youngest was even entertained the entire time. We were there on Sunday before the rush and the atmosphere was great. Anyhow, the food was amazing and all around wonderful experience. Cant wait for the next dance recital when we are in the area! “Was my first visit to their new space (they just reopened and expanded) and I was blown away. Beautiful, sophisticated design, but still feels intimate and low key. Staff were fun and friendly; drinks were fresh, interesting/unique and stiff. Loved the vibe overall and definitely worth making a detour for - it's a great spot for a date, to hang with friends, or to entertain business colleagues/clients. They've completely upped their game even further and cemented its status as one of the best cocktail bars in the city.“

“Great find for us, directly opposite our hotel. The staff were magnificently friendly and engaging. My wife and I were visiting Montreal from Scotland and were made to feel like regulars. J’ai commander le drink Preach’s peach pour sa composition et le magnifique verre annoncé sur le menu (flamingo). Malheureusement, le drink n’a pas été servi dans le verre tant attendu. Dans ce genre d’endroit, la présentation fait toute la différence pour justifier un cocktail à 25$. J’aurais apprécier qu’on me renseigne que le verre n’était pas disponible ce soir-là. J’aurais probablement opter vers un autre cocktail à un prix plus modeste. Ceci dit, le goût était bon. Nous ne recommandons pas les spritz sans alcool qui sont à notre goût fade et simplement amer. Un ajout de sirop simple pourrait probablement balancer l’amerture de ce drink qui est normalement délicieux avec du mousseux, bien entendu. Pour terminer, le cocktail bleu dont je ne me souvient plus le nom était le highlight de la soirée. Je retournerais au MilkyWay pour retenter l’expérience :) Au plaisir,“

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“Loved the music, love the hidden speakeasy entrance, love the escape room concept. Puzzles were fun and bilingual. The service felt slow and the pricing and quantity of food made this place feel like a lot less of a value. Spent $160 and 2 hours where it could have been $120 and 1 hour due to service speed and premium prices. The beverages are brilliant though, with or without alcohol.“

“It was absolutely a blast!!!! I had really amazing food despite the fact that I came to a dinner super club without any expectations.

Their entre and to share were great! Their full menu also has seafood and steak and others. Good wine list they have with decent price.

There were shows to be discovered each nice and the girls were incredibly talented and HOT!!!

“If I could put 10 stars for the service, the food and the atmosphere, I would. It was an incredible experience. The young woman who looked after our table really went the extra mile. I’ve rarely experienced such excellent service and she gave sound advice. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but she works on Friday evenings. I’d like to thank her again. She managed to turn our evening into an exceptional experience.

“Great burgers. We got the Smash burger 🍔 with a side of poutine, Kids Mac and Cheese, Kids burger with fries 🍟 and a Classic burger 🍔 with fries. It was pricy, about 20 dollars 💰 for a non kids burger. The kids menu things were amazingly cheap, 12 dollars for all things on the kids menu, and on Sundays only 5 dollars. The Kids Mac and Cheese 🧀 was amazing 🤩, The kids burger was great 👍 and simple, and with generous portions of fries 🍟. Classic was pretty good, not the best, I think I would have liked it better Well-Done. Smash burger was one of the best burgers in my life!!! I would recommend the smash burger. Only downsides was that if you got a non kids burger and like your burgers Well-Done was that you have to ask. Also wish they had bigger fry selection“

“So, this review is a little different from most, because people often come to a place one time experience a good thing and drop a positive review. I on the other hand expect consistency and I am a little on the OCD side, especially when I travel. That just means I find the restaurants that I like and I have been known to eat the same meals two days in a row. One of the things that stands out immediately to me is that for the most part you have the same staff working dinner or evening shifts as you do the brunch on Saturday and Sunday. This makes for long days but it produces consistency. Timeliness and courtesy are number one for the ladies on the floor. Attention to detail is critical to the men on the cookline, as each plate comes out as an arrangement of food, not simply a pile of ingredients. I was in Montreal for a conference from Friday to Sunday so I was able to eat 2 dinners and 2 brunches, and I have to say they were quite exceptional. I do give the brunch a slight tip of the cap for being more consistent of the two meals and having the best consistency with the Big Brunch, the Americano, and the fresh squeezed juice. It is probably one of the best breakfast/brunches I have had since Verviers, Brussels in 2019. The Big Brunch consisted of fried sunny side up eggs, a sausage, fried potatoes with hollandaise, cubed fresh tomato, sourdough toast, fresh Americano, and fresh orange and grapefruit juice. The flavors work together to complement each other with the eggs having been lightly peppered by the chef and maybe fried in the salty fat from the sausage to give them the right amount of seasoning. Dinner the first day I had a beer and a ribeye prepared medium rare with pepper seasoning and a brown gravy accompanying the pureed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. The next night I had the charcutier meat with sourdough, which was a nice assortment of the traditional fare one might find. It would have been nice to have found a smaller plate that include both meat and cheese. I did have a bottle of the California 2020 Elizabeth Spencer Cab and it paired well with everything, sometimes a little fruity and others a little spicy depending on how the notes hit the palette. Dinner was the same as the night before, but although the ribeye was ordered medium rare it came out more to medium. That was a little disappointing, but still satisfying in the end. To finish my meal I had the brownie with pecan crumble and sauce which finished off the bottle of Cab perfectly. This morning I had an amazing brunch again, and now I must say adieu as I head to the airport to return home.“
