“The food is really good. I personally loved the Cuban sandwich. The chicken melt was also decent.What was really a let down were their staff. We were seated in a very uncomfortable spot. When they delivered the food they wouldn’t leave the cutlery. They are in a rush to take the cutlery away and i wasn’t even done using it nor was i done with my food. I thought that was very rude of the staff and we weren’t even there for 30mins in total. A truly unpleasant experience for a gem of a place.“

“I'm a regular at Pick-Up, at one time we went there once a week with friends! It’s a bit like our “wonder of Hochelaga” and we bring ALL our loved ones visiting Montreal here. The garlic fries are amazing, the burgers too, the prices are ok. My absolute favorite is the Seoul Chicken; their fried chicken is second to none. The vegetarian options are great and the fried cauliflower pieces are really good :)Vegetarian options: Fake meat ball for classic burgers, fried cauliflower pieces for fried chicken burgers.“

“Who knew that salad could be *this* good! I had “The Fave” and I understand why it’s called that. The honey mustard dressing was perfectly balanced. Despite being VERY busy with the lunch crowd, the service was good.And I *love* the fake cherry tree in the middle of the dining room.“

“Absolutely lovely pizza! Very authentic. We sat by the open kitchen watching the pizzas being made, and the four guys cooking the pizzas were super chilled. No stress or dramas going on. Staff were all absolutely lovely and so friendly, spoke English to us straight away. (Us being peasants and not speaking French) Wine was great, service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend“
“Food is good, tried the deep dish (Detroit) and Neapolitan. The Detroit is definitely better, the Neapolitan is average. The cheese garlic bread was really nice, I would definitely recommend it. I had issues with the service, both times that I have visited this establishment. On the phone, the gentleman was rude when we asked about reservations, at the restaurant the server (probably the same man) didn't really seem to care about his table. Lack of attention, didn't even bring us menus until we asked him etc etc... to the point where the woman server, who wasn't assigned to our table, helped us and seemed very nice. Because the food was fine I'm giving it 4 stars, but the service is really poor.“
“As US citizens on our first visit to Montreal, we figured that food would be an adventure. It was! But only in the positive. "Soupe" had the freshest of food, which may have been totally organic. We thought it a little expensive until we actually received our delightfully looking and tasting food. The salad and sandwich combo filled me for 2 meals! All the salad ingredients were fresh and varied. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open on weekends; if so, we would have returned for more meals. The sweets looked and smelled delicious, but we were already full from the soup and 1/2 sandwich or salad and 1/2 sandwich. Rue Saint Denis is a short (15 minute) walk from the Old Port and/or Chinatown.“
“First time in Montreal. Really wanted some sushi and found this spot. Service was actually amazing, I was being all picky and asked to customize my order and they nailed it. Tasted so so so good and really cheap for the portions. As someone who eats a lot of sushi this was actually surprising you good for the price and with amazing service. Will be back whenever I’m in town“
“Our tour bus dropped us off nearby and we stumbled across this small cafe. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The juicy burgers were to die for. The fries were good as well. We didn't realize that we were supposed to order at the counter but the owner figured this out and waited on us; thank you.“
“Pizza Pizza in Quebec has a distinctive and significantly improved flavor, especially for their pepperoni medium pizza. I found it to be delicious and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality. Additionally, there is ample free parking available outside.“
