I showed up as they were closing and everyone was put away but the clerk offered to get a muffin in the back for me and made me feel welcome to stay to have my snack despite probably just wanting to finish their close. I felt welcome and will most certainly be back! Oh and yes, the muffin was delicious and moist :)“

“This was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Persian café in Montreal. The venue is fully accessible and accommodating for people with disabilities and those using assistive devices. The accessible washroom was a particularly nice touch. The café also features a charming patio and a cozy indoor ambiance. I visited on a rainy day and arrived much earlier than my scheduled meeting with a friend. Despite being a first-time customer, I was treated like an old friend. The quality of the coffee, tea, and food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I tried their Persian coffee, Persian tea, and mirza ghasemi, all of which were delightful.

What stood out most to me was their hospitality—they had no issue with me sitting there for a couple of hours before my friend arrived. They ensured I was comfortable, even providing access to a power outlet so I could work on my laptop. They struck the perfect balance between attentive care and giving me the privacy I needed to feel at ease. They even went above and beyond by assisting me to the washroom, which I found incredibly considerate. When I thanked them, they responded warmly, saying, "Don't mention it; we're here for you." This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Persian food, a warm ambiance, and an accessible space in the heart of Old Port Montreal.“

“Really amazing cafe and restaurant. Food was so delicious and flavourful, and the drinks with rose water and basil seeds were so good. I had a Persian omelette and lentil soup which I immediately wanted to know how to make at home. Prices are very reasonable as well. Will definitively be coming back to try more of their extensive drinks and food options! We were given a saffron, coconut, cinnamon and pistachio rice pudding which was eaten so fast.

Service was really personal and sweet, very homey and cozy vibes. My partners and I worked there during the morning and were so satisfied with everything.

Accessibility wise, there are a few (4-5 steps) and a lip to the door to get in, and the inside is not wheelchair accessible, but they also have an outdoor terrace.

Street parking in front of the store is free until 9 a.m., so I often visit around 8 a.m. It is crowded with people even at that time. I've tried pancakes, sandwiches, grilled cheese, soup, cookies, etc. and they were all delicious.

I love their chai latté and have had their soup once (very decent). Service in both English and French. Love the atmosphere and ambiance!“

“Delicious and cheap bagel sandwiches! I didn't take more pictures because I was too distracted eating all the food! Pictured is the Toronto sandwich on a whole wheat bagel. Amazing flavors, great bagel. It was so good I had to get another to go! I also tried the vegetarian sandwich which was very moist and yummy. My partner also got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and she said it was delicious!

“J'ai visité ce restaurant sans aucune attente pour un diner alors que j'étais dans le coin. Quelle découverte! J'ai pris une soupe avec du porc, suggérée par la serveuse (qui était super gentille et nous conseillait vraiment bien). Le porc était si tendre que je le coupais avec mes baguettes. La souper était tellement gouteuse. Des saveurs que je n'avais jamais expérimentées et tout cela dans un petit resto super sympathique. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables. Honnêtement, j'ai juste hâte de retourner dans le coin pour y manger à nouveau et essayer d'autres plats sur leur menu. Une superbe découverte. Dommage que j'habite aussi loin! ;)“

We were tempted by Nutella pancakes, which were not so expensive given the area and the location.
They are good and the service is pleasant and courteous, it’s a pleasure! We also appreciated the attention towards the children :)
