“Firstly, to find this place you need to take the escalator down two floors to the food court, it's not obvious where it is but it's worth it.

I ordered poached eggs and sausage (which come with potatoes) and an Americano.

The food was cooked well, was tasty and the sausage came with a really nice side sauce. The employee who served me was friendly and helpful as I speak very little french, but this obviously served the workers in this building so was pretty quiet at 11am.

The food also is really cheap in comparison to other cafes/restaurants in the area so I was able to tip really well and still have an affordable meal.“

“We were at the Brossard location. 9am Saturday, no waiting line. Nice, dynamic ambiance. Tables distribution excellent, not to close each other, places for solo, couples and groups. The attendants were very polite and well informed. Prices are competitive. They are different, with their own style. Not mass coffee serving, good quality of ingredients. Presentation of plates need improvement. I'll go back.“

“Mixed review. Space is charming. Hot chocolate varieties are great. Service was hit & miss. Crepe delivered without cutlery. Waited to flag staff to ask for cutlery; had to wait again for cutlery. Crepe got cold in the meantime. Hot chocolate delivered after the crepe. When paying, the cashier had to search for my bill. Hope they sort out their service.“

“Came here for breakfast. There's construction outside so a little hard to get in. Place was not populated, was about 8:30am. Was greeted by a beautiful hostess. Had one of the egg packages with sausage, ham, bread, potatoes and crepes. Pretty good deal to be honest.“

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff, especially our waitress Maryann who made me feel right at home. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The first time we came here, it was for coffee ☕, the second time was today for lunch. My love 💕 and I , are return customers. I believe it's places like Chez José Café that keep Montréal alive.

“We found this place after 4 days of our holiday and have returned every day since. The food is amazing and the fresh muffins and cakes are some of the best I’ve ever had.
The coffee is served at the correct temperature where some places we visited served it semi warm.
Don’t miss out you will want to return every day. We are leaving Saturday after 9 days my only regret is that we didn’t find it on our first day.“
