“I like this Starbucks with the chairs and armchairs available in the mall in front of the business. The service is always fast and from a coffee point of view, it is excellent. Unfortunately the coffee prices are a bit high. I guess that's the price you pay for chairs and peace, because it's quiet. The Rockland center has a fairly quiet clientele, I love it!!!“

“Lovely, inviting place. The best grilled smoked meat and cheese sandwich on the planet! We went everyday on our visit to Montreal and I recommend this place to locals and visitors alike. Ask Romain for a lavender London Fog and you will not be disappointed!“

“Le Café Magda est bien plus qu’un simple café. C’est un véritable point de rencontre pour tout le quartier, un endroit où l’on se sent chez soi dès qu’on franchit la porte. Nous sommes vraiment chanceux de l’avoir dans le Bronx, car il contribue pleinement à la vie du quartier et crée un esprit de communauté précieux. Andrée-Anne, la propriétaire, est toujours d’un accueil chaleureux et attentionné, ce qui rend chaque visite encore plus agréable. P.S. Si vous ne savez pas quoi prendre, je vous recommande le dirty chaï — il est absolument divin“
“Côte Café is a beautiful little escape; tucked away in athoughtfully refurbish historic carriage house. ! The vibe is super relaxed and welcoming, the staff are friendly & knowledgeable, (shout out to Charles). Everything—from the free trade & locally roasted coffee to the decor—feels thoughtful and easygoing. The kind of place you could spend hours at without realizing. Absolutely love it here! Ccafé tucked away in a historic and cleverly refurbished carriage house. Super welcoming, fun staff (shout out to Charles); these guys are clearly passionate about their coffee (free trade partners & local roasters) and epic patisseries. We only had the butter croissant but it may be the best in the city! Stop in and see for yourself!“

“Nice little cafe with a selection of coffees, teas and small bites/sandwiches and friendly staff. There was a mixed crowd, with some students working and other people just chatting over coffee. Of note is that they offer lactose free and nut milk at no charge. We ordered a cortado and mochaccino, both were very good. Overall, great spot to warm up and enjoy a coffee and chat.“

“Went there at the busiest time possible and the cafe manager still managed to get a seat, would have given 5 stars just for the service but the food is a delight as well. Dakota sandwich had the best pulled beef I’ve had in Montreal and the cafe is very vibrant.“

“Randomly went here due to my friend searching google maps on our visit to Montreal. No pictures because we were too busy chatting with the owner about sweetened vs. unsweetened matcha, Chinese tea, and the tea scene in Montreal. Owner was kind enough to give us unsweetened versions of our drinks to try when we mentioned that we like our drinks without sugar. Delicious 😋“

“Some of the most beautiful people in the city are punters at this establishment. The coffee (always served with "panache" btw) is deliciously "on point"! The staff is cool & real. “I walked into Saint JJH & Café today and felt instantly at home — it’s genuinely one of the warmest, coziest family-run spots in Verdun. The retro, antique-inspired decor — soft lighting, plush seating, and vintage touches — makes the café feel like a dear friend’s living room. I treated myself to their baked goods, and oh my — the apple pie was nothing short of heavenly, with a perfectly balanced sweetness and a tender, flaky crust. The banana cake was moist, fragrant, and had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture that serious cake lovers dream of. I paired them with an oat-milk latte, and it was so smooth and comforting — just the right warmth, the right froth, and just enough subtle sweetness. Truly felt like the perfect cozy pick-me-up. But what made the visit extra special was getting to chat with the owners, the husband-and-wife team, and especially Yanna. She welcomed me like a long-lost friend — genuine warmth, passion for her café, and so much heart. It felt like more than just a business, it’s a real community hub. If you’re looking for a place where the coffee is excellent, the pastries feel made with love, and the vibe is homey and welcoming — Saint JJH & Café is a must-visit. “A cafe that’s not in the Avenue du Mont-Royal, hidden from the crowds, but it’s like a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I finally able to visit this cafe since it’s always crowded everytime I tried to visit and finally able to visit. The atmosphere is really cozy. It combines the Montreal and the Brazil feeling for the decorations of the cafe.
The barista and the owner is really friendly welcoming. They even let me to practice my french and encourage me too, which i find in some cafes, they will immediately switch to english once they see my accent. They also kind to explain me some of their products too.
Their warmness also translated into their delicious coffee and soup too. All of their products are homemade too. Their coffee tastes strong and delicious, using the Brazilian coffee bean. Their soup is good also, warm and delicious. I would like to try their patisseries in the future for my next visit. I will be visiting this cafe again in the future if I manage to get a space since this cafe can be full, especially on the weekend.“

“Amazing atmosphere. I went here during a quick break between classes with a few friends from college, and even with little time to spare, we loved it. “got the persian late, which had pistachio creme and saffron tea base- so good!! it sort of tasted like a rose drink with pistachio and i got it with almond milk so very nice and nutty. the baristas were both very kind, and atmosphere was super cozy. they had a pretty big selection of drinks too which was nice!“

“I have been looking for my new favorite cafe place. I found it today. The vibe the owners have is contagious, you feel excited to try new pastries. I picked the big chocolate chip cookie, it was sooo good, almost like half baked cookie dough. I also tried the almond cookie so delicious with a hint of lemon 🍋. “Cantinova Cafe is such a nice spot. Kaz the owner is a gracious host and always makes you feel welcome. The coffee is great and the vibe is relaxed and friendly.
It’s also super convenient as a dropoff point for Audiophonie who did an amazing job fixing my Technics 1200. Made the whole process really easy.
Definitely recommend both the cafe and the repair shop.“

“je me suis demandée si j allais ou non mettre un commentaire car ce n est pas dans mes habitudes .. mais cette fois ci je pense que même négatif ce commentaire peut vous aider. je vis a proximité sur Ontario, et même si je ne suis pas une habituée au quotidien j'aime ce café et sa terrasse en été. Hier le café était toujours bon mais ma gaufre m'est restée sur le coeur au sens figuré comme au sens propre : d'abord on m'avait oubliée, ok correct cela a été reconnu mais aucun geste commercial, ensuite je croque dans un morceau de gaufre, puis un 2eme ; étrange texture pour une gaufre? lourde, massive , pâteuse mais bon j'avale ....tellement sucrée et peu ou pas cuite....le coeur me lève et moi aussi , je sors prendre l'air ... est ce que j y retourne pour me plaindre mais cette fois ci de mauvaise humeur et patraque? Non je rentre chez moi afin de ne pas "peter ma coche en public" et l'envie disons de me retrouver dans ma salle de bain était plus forte . Ce matin je suis convaincue que ce que j'ai mangé était de la pâte à Muffin et non à gauffre! Comme la pâte était déja hyper sucrée , que le service avait rajouté du sucre par dessus et moi du sirop ! Imaginez....le tout ....je suis de ces personnes qui laisse la chance au joueur , j y retournerai c'est certain et des erreurs cela arrive ! Mais sachez et apprenez à gerer vos erreurs“

“The food is always good. They have lots of vegan options and the coffee is one of the best around. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Just ask what is vegan as some items contain dairy and they add meat into their menu. This restaurant is no longer vegetarian but there is something for everyone there.
