“The Legendary Joe Beef. We had the Foie Gras double down, the rabbit, and the veal. This is basically the Rolls Royce of restaurants, you are paying for the name. Food was unlike anything I've ever had and was extremely flavourful, but Canadian shrinkflation means you pay a lot for a little, so I left hungry. Great experience though between the ambience and the staff, it was unforgettable.“

“The food here is incredibly tasty and delicious. My son loved the Le Bennie burger so much he asked for a second one! We also tried the Baos and one of the bowls—everything was absolutely delicious. On top of the fantastic menu, the service is excellent, the prices are great, and the place itself is very cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“-Le Royale cheeze - 8.5, great, have had much better plant based burgers tho
-Indian paratha - 9.5/10 excellent, perfect amount of sauce. Paratha could have been a tad more buttery
-Cornbread - quite good
-Malai Kofta - quite good
-Latkes - pretty good, but the tzasiki sauce or whatever it was, was a bit scant. Had to ask for some more of it because it was too dry otherwise when I mixed it all together. I made the mistake of calling it sour cream and I think they gave me extra of that instead of the original sauce. Looking forward to going back for weekend brunch.

Second time going and I didn't even realize the entire Cafe section next door:

“Mauvais service. Un pogo a glissé du petit panier faisant un dégât sur la table et sur mes vêtements. Quand j’ai signalé le problème, une des commis m’a passé un rouleau de papier pour que je nettoie le tout moi-même. Elle m’a offert de remplacer le pogo, ce que j’ai décliné. Dans n’importe quel bouie-bouie, on serait venu passer un linge humide, pas ici.“

“What an experience! Over the course of about 3 hours, 7 fantastic dishes, paired with 7 glasses of perfectly selected wine, I discovered what the term "fine dining" actually means. It's sophisticated without being overly serious, the flavors are always playful, changing right when you think you've figured them out. My favorite dish was a charred trout with roe and confit melon, in a beurre blanc sauce (chef's kiss). However, everything was truly wonderful, from a perfectly cooked strip loin, to rare squab with a rich berry sauce, to a braised beet on top of an intense shiitake mushroom puree. The service is impeccable: they never miss a beat. Whether it was never missing the opportunity to pull out the chair for my companion, to simply exuding a quite and comforting friendliness. Accommodation is what they strive for, and they go above and beyond to achieve that while maintaining an air of effortlessness. Needless to say, I'm counting the days until I go back.“

“Very good. One of my favourite restaurants I’ve been to in the city. Also in a great location with other fun restos and bars around. Service was amazing from the start, explaining the menu throughly for us “first timers”. Fun plates to share, don’t disregard the veggies as they are some of the best parts of the meal. The chilie cabbage was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. (Choi chili crisp). Thanks for the great service, food and ambience, will be back asap.“

“Being vegetarians it is difficult for us to to find places that have great food, multiple options and an even fantastic ambience. This place checked all boxes!!!
We ordered Golden pancakes and The Okonomiyaki Burger and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend this place and definitely coming back again soon.“

“Fantastic place to eat. DJ was our server and we absolutely adored every minute being there. DJ gave us some recommendations, my brother liked it so much he ordered take out for tomorrow since we are headed home. 10/10, DJ was absolutely wonderful.“

“Went for lunch and it was a great experience. The menu did not change at all since this summer though, so I think it is nice to experience, but it doesn’t offer much variety if you come multiple times. Had lunch 3 times in 3 different months and all 3 times it was the same menu. Great food, beautiful presentation, would love to try it for dinner too, I am sure it is a completely different experience!“

“This is plant-based fast-food place on Maisonneuve Blvd West that is open from 8am to 9pm (weekdays) and 11am to 8pm (weekends). They have a menu of vegetarian friendly dishes at reasonable prices. Service was friendly and fine during our recent visit. On the occasion we tried the Galaxy burger with fries and the Asian Fusion power bowl. Both were pretty good for the prices charged. It is good that there are healthy food options like Copper Branch. Would be fine eating here again next time in Montreal.“

La Phare et la Lux brillent franchement parmi leurs créations : chacune bien construite, expressive, avec cette touche d’élégance qui fait qu’on y revient. Le Blanton’s Old Fashioned m’a aussi franchement séduit : soigné, précis, avec juste ce qu’il faut d’aplomb. Le service ? Sympathique, attentif, à l’image de l’endroit. Le décor est soigné, réfléchi, avec du style et de la personnalité. Le hall d’entrée, avec son architecture de haut niveau, annonce d’emblée un lieu conçu avec goût et maîtrise. We had the potato soup, with garlic cheese bread as an appetizer... Wow was that tasty! Then I had the salmon dinner & my husband had the pizza... Both meals were so yummy!! We will definitely come here again... one of our favorites now!“
