“The atmosphere here is great! We enjoyed some fancy cocktails and mixed drinks on a Thursday night. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to us. We didn’t leave until almost 2am on a Thursday. Nice to have some night life within the hotel mid week. We would return for drinks again during our next visit. Highly recommend!“

We then had the gnocchi: the best we had ever tasted! So full of flavour. The first wine we enjoyed was a red wine from Gaillac in France and the second was from northern Spain. They were very different and complemented our food fully. The wine list was created by the manager and it carries wines from little known regions, ready to be discovered. “My wife and I were in the lower town of old Quebec City during a very cold afternoon in December and wanted to find something to snack on. We came across this quaint and charming bar with a very limited menu and it worked out perfectly. Surprisingly, it was very quiet and not busy. My wife and I ordered a platter of olive tapenade, humus, and guacamole. It came with chips and pita bread. A couple of glasses of red wine and it was delightful. As I mentioned, there wasn't much of a menu but the selection of alcoholic beverages was above and beyond. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I learned one of the employees is a big hockey fan like me and we had a nice conversation about the Quebec Nordiques. The prices were very reasonable and it's a nice location to sit and chat.
