“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! We finished the meal off with the Maple Creme Brûlée. The entire staff were friendly supportive and knowledgeable from the moment we walked in!! C’est Manifique!! Bravo!!!“

My favorites were a roast beef sandwich with truffle, which was rich and creamy. And a cucumber and caviar boat. Which was fresh with a touch of creaminess. The pastries were delicious. Including a mousse that tasted like caramel popcorn. It was resting on a delicious and buttery pie dough. The scones were also delicious, and the spreads were on point, specially one with strawberry and rose.
I loved their tea selection. Their options were fresh and very tasty.
The servers were very kind and attentive. Services was well timed. And everyone explained everything to us very clearly when we mentioned it was our first time.

“Very good Izakaya, I recommend the tasting menu at $45 per person for 3 or 4 people, it allows you to have a good tour of the menu, we were able to test 12 items from the menu :)

My favorite dishes: sarada ramen, candy salmon, beek tataki, okonomiyaki (flatter and spicier than those in Japan), karaage
I also liked: takoyaki, gyoza, pokuribu
Not a big fan: tarutaru, gyudon, gomae, godzilla dessert

“This was a nice discovery! I had walked by it many times but finally went in to give it a try. It’s a nice little place with an upstairs and downstairs portion. They most likely open up the lower section when it gets full upstairs. They have a good selection of beers on tap and can make you any kind of liquor drinking they have the ingredients. The staff was friendly too. Nice little deck outside if you don’t mind the traffic on Cote des Neiges. ??“

“Holy Moley this place is Fantastic! The staff and other patrons are all wonderful people. Although I think Nick the bartender cheats at arm wrestling . Will be my go-to spot whenever I’m in Montreal. Trivia night was a blast (thanks Michael) . No food so we ordered pizza delivery from our favourite place. Amazing spot!

“Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“
