“The Goldfish are addictive, and the cocktails always impeccable. This place specializes in perfectly balanced long drinks, in particular cocktails mixed in Mason jars, such as their perfect classic mojito. We've been coming for years; it's a mandatory visit every time we're in Montreal. In fact, they inspired a major part of our cocktail program at our own cocktail bar (RIP This End Up). I hope La Distillerie lives on forever. Chin chin!!!

“Le milky way est un magnifique endroit avec une bonne ambiance pour terminer une soirée entre amis. J’ai commander le drink Preach’s peach pour sa composition et le magnifique verre annoncé sur le menu (flamingo). Malheureusement, le drink n’a pas été servi dans le verre tant attendu. Dans ce genre d’endroit, la présentation fait toute la différence pour justifier un cocktail à 25$. J’aurais apprécier qu’on me renseigne que le verre n’était pas disponible ce soir-là. J’aurais probablement opter vers un autre cocktail à un prix plus modeste. Ceci dit, le goût était bon. Nous ne recommandons pas les spritz sans alcool qui sont à notre goût fade et simplement amer. Un ajout de sirop simple pourrait probablement balancer l’amerture de ce drink qui est normalement délicieux avec du mousseux, bien entendu. Pour terminer, le cocktail bleu dont je ne me souvient plus le nom était le highlight de la soirée. Je retournerais au MilkyWay pour retenter l’expérience :) Au plaisir,“

“Super Nice place! The atmosphere is really pleasant and the shows are delicious to watch. The price of the meals is still high (2 X meals + 2 X beer + 1 X Virgin Ceasar) total cost of $400). The waiters/waitresses number 1, we are well received but the table service makes us wait after ordering, whether for the meal or simply a drink.“

“This bar didn’t just serve us drinks. It served us purpose. We came in thirsty and left spiritually awakened.

Best bar in Montreal, hands down. And trust me, we’ve done the research. Jesse had already clocked out, but still dove into the depths of the back room to find a bottle of Japanese whiskey my husband ordered. Man was off the clock and still giving 110%. Legend status unlocked.

And let’s not forget Shane -funny, welcoming, and clearly running on vibes and pure charisma. Between him and Jesse, this place is basically the Avengers of bartending.

The atmosphere? Immaculate. But the real MVPs are the staff. Friendly, hilarious, and somehow all have the vibe of your funniest friend who also makes great cocktails. They’re the heartbeat of this place. I’d protect them with my life.

If you’re in Montreal and don’t come here.. rethink your life choices. This bar will change your life. You’ll leave buzzed, blessed, and maybe a little in love (probably with Jesse… or Shane).“

“It can be a quiet intimate place or crowded. It really depends on the night and if there is a big event in town. The bar tenders are hysterical. Sylvain and Johanne have been there for a long time and they always remember us when we come back which is once a year. The drinks and service are excellent. “Went there to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday and experience our first tea service together. We had a green tea & black tea(do not remember the names but it was a matcha & heavenly…) and these were both good. I was disappointed because I had to request milk and when they brought it out it was cold. Who wants to cool down their tea… please warm it up on the future. Out of the 3 tiers, the scones were our favourite with the jams. The desert was the worst, only appreciated 1 out of the tray & the sandwiches were ok. The atmosphere and decor were great. It’s definitely something to experience tea time.“

“Finally got to check this spot out in the summer after hearing much hype. It's difficult to gauge if it lived up to it just because of how much hype there was, but if not it came close. This place has a unique location as it is placed in the middle of a residential neighborhood. The elongated layout allows it to fit into the grid while allowing a fairly large capacity across the two rooms. Riverside doesn't bother with a house cocktail menu, but the bartenders are skilled with any of your classic cocktails you enjoy. The prices are about where you'd expect them to be at such an establishment. This place maintains a presentable atmosphere and is overall a great place to mingle. That being said, expect a congested crowd in peak hours. See you next summer, Riverside!“

“Probably my favourite bar of all time, the atmosphere is great , the staff is awesome, the drinks are good and cheap and karaoke is always fun! Only downside tho has to be the security. I got my bag stolen a few weeks ago ( I'm not blaming the staff , its my bad for leaving my stuff unsupervised). The staff was nothing but sweet and helpful but did mention that the person that stole my stuff ( and 2 other bags the same night) stole in the bar numerous times before, and that even the security guard was aware. I filed a police report on my side, but Its a bit icky to have regular customers get their stuff stolen or damaged when they could just kick a known repeat offender out .. will not be attending the bar anymore but genuinely awesome place, just be careful with your stuff :))“

We had questions with the menu and not being able to read French so this was appreciated. We had tacos and the birria quesadillas. They were delicious. Also enjoyed a couple of margaritas. “I would highly recommend Brasserie Milton! We had some great meals on our trip to Montreal but, we went back for a second night because Stephan was the best. He was our waiter and it was clear that he loved his job! His recommendations were spot on and we really enjoyed the food. You should try the seafood linguini or lamb shank. It doesn't disappoint. “Lena and all the staff (including DJ Mosquito last night) were incredibly kind, interesting people, and very welcoming. The bar offers a delightful local vibe, indoor and outdoor spaces, and excellent local beers, a variety of wines, and some fun mixed drinks (like fresh ginger syrup with aperol and soda). “Went to Bar George on our last night in Montreal. After almost a week of French inspired food, it was a nice change of pace.

While not entirely British it was different than other most restaurants we'd visited.

For an appetizer, we had a half dozen oysters. Small but very fresh and tasty.

The Beef Wellington was amazing! My wife ordered this and she thought it on par with Gordon Ramsey's she'd had a Hell's Kitchen in Miami.

I had Lobster Risotto which was very good and our son had Halibut which he also enjoyed.

Service was top notch and the ambiance was very nice. We had a couple get engaged at the table next to us. It's that kind of place.“
