“The noodles here slap. Literally, you can see them stretching and slapping the hand pulled noodles through the window. I like the Lanzhou Beef Noodles spicy version. I think the broth could be better, it tastes a bit flat. But overall, it’s good value to eat in and have a bowl of noodles, especially as the weather gets colder.“

“Excellent bao and great service.
The server gave creat advice after hearing golf our food preference. The kitchen is pristine clean nd the food is being prepared hot and fresh. The cleanliness is really appreciated and the friendly service nad excellent food suggestions and quick service was all awesome.

“I want to give a special shoutout to the server Tim. He was very busy being the only waiter on the floor and he apologized profusely for his slow service (which by the way was still very fast). He ended up giving us complimentary sodas and even brought me back the wallet I forgot to my car. He's the best and they care about their service.
The food is also amazing and authentic. The portions are generous and the broths are flavorful. 10/10 would recommend and go again“

“I ordered takeaway tonight from a spot on St-Denis in Montreal and was pleasantly surprised. I went with the large pork wonton soup (10 dumplings) and the hot & sour cucumber salad — all for $17.22, which I found very reasonable for the area.
The soup was flavorful without being too salty, and the seaweed pieces added a nice touch. The cucumber salad was also fresh and tasty, though personally, I would have preferred a lighter hand on the garlic (you'll see what I mean in the photo).
The interior of the restaurant is simple but clean. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, so the small terrace hadn’t been set up, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, the service was friendly and quick — always a plus.“

“Great quality Chinese food. I came here expecting a filling meal for a low price and I got one. Don’t miss out on the sticky rice and bbq pork. Just be mindful the roasted duck has many bones which was pesky to eat but it was very fatty and juicy. Workers were very nice and were patient with me trying to e transfer since it is cash only and no seating only takeout. Definitely coming back here again. 9/10“

Tonight my dasher forgot one of the bag of my order. After checking with a call to the restaurant, they gladly offered me to come drop it themselves!! Even offered me a drink to compensate the wait.

“This is a place that looks simple when you enter but offers amazing food. Their menu is simple and everything is handmade. You do need to wait a bit since every dish is made to order. It’s worth it. We contemplated going back just an hour after to have some again.“

“Loved the food and the prices are reasonable too. The waitress was very attentive. The food came out very quickly after ordering. The only issue was that they take payment only in cash. But there is an ATM machine inside to withdraw cash, $2 withdrawal fee so that issue is solved too.
Definitely will be coming back again 🙂“

What a gem. Such a random location but the food is amazing. Fresh noodles and dumplings; super flavourful meat. I also think it’s BYOB- though we didn’t know before hand. This will be our go-to for dumplings on the south shore for sure.“

“I've been going to this restaurant with my family for over two decades. The service is friendly and attentive to allergies (I am allergic to sesame seeds). The menu has something for every taste, age, and a delightful chill atmosphere. It fills my heart with joy every time I get to share a plate of general tao, tea, and good cheer. “I had dinner here on a weekend night, arriving around 8 PM. The owner was very accommodating and even though they close at 9 PM, they let us stay until 9:20.
We ordered the Dapanji (Big Plate Chicken), and the portions were very generous—we ordered the medium size and still had plenty left to take home. The naan was soft and flavorful, perfect for dipping in the Dapanji sauce. The smashed cucumber salad was decent, though the cucumbers were a bit sparse compared to the amount of dressing. The lamb soup was well-seasoned with just the right amount of salt, and the lamb flavor was mild, not too gamey.
While the menu doesn’t offer a wide variety of dishes, each one is a specialty from the Taklamakan region. If you’re interested in this culture’s cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

The food: 5 stars. So flavourful.. the best general Tao ever!!! The best curry coconut milk soup , the trio grillade super good. We've been there 6 times for dinner and never disappointed
The price ; 30 -40$ , but you eat so well. Dishes are very generous portions. The value is definitely there.
The service is slow each time we went, so don't expect in and out .. but its ok if you're on a no rush evening dinner with friends.“

“Best Chinese food restaurant in Montreal for Beef & Chinese broccoli; Cantonaise chow mein; Chicken fried rice; Sweet & sour pork; and Lemon chicken! Since coming from Vancouver I have been searching for a good, tasty restaurant and I'm so grateful I found this one. As soon as I walked in the door on New Years Eve at 7pm, I was warmly greeted. Without a reservation, I was still seated promptly and served water and tea instantly. The servers were kind, friendly, and super efficient. The food came out within a decent timeframe considering how busy it was. It was all truly delicious. We ate enough to be full at the dinner table and we both had enough to take-out for full meals later on. I also appreciated the freshly cut oranges at the end of meal. A sweet way to end a great time here.“

“I am not sure why this restaurant is underrated! When I saw point 3.7 I was hesitating. We took a risk to go cos it was the 3rd or 4th Chinese buffet restaurant we have been looking for. The other Chinese buffet restaurants are either closed during working days or looks pretty low standard! However,I am glad we had taken the risk. This one turned out to be out of my expectations, the buffet selection was limited and small. But the sushi is amazing! U can select the sushi as u wish while taking buffet . I highly recommended to order sushi. The highlight is the sushi ! If it just offers buffet it is not a good deal, however if u add sushi it is a WOW! I am eastern Asian, so u know 😜. the female owner( I assume she is an owner), she offers good service so is her employee the young Asian man. Nice ambience with Chinese and Japanese styles. We had our good time there. P.S. I took my pic after busy time as I don’t want people in my pic. It was busy during dinner time.“
