“Delicious crispy fried chicken and I like their garlicky dips that goes with the fries/chicken platter, customers constantly come and go to pick their orders up. Sometimes its hard to get a parking spot that’s how busy it is.

The interiors are alright, probably needs an update but if people just take orders for « to go » then it doesn’t really matter.“

Alright, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chalet BBQ, and may I say… it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, Steve and Catherine made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy and the chalet of your grandparents, perfect for a relaxed meal.

Now, let's talk about the food… absolutely incredible! The chicken was perfectly cooked, bursting with original, authentic flavor, and the poutine was equally delicious. I honestly, highly recommend you all go eat their signature, slow cooked chicken, you won't be disappointed!

What really stood out was the attention to detail and the passion they put into their cooking. Steve and Catherine truly care about their patrons and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience.

If you’re looking for a fantastic meal and a friendly atmosphere, Chalet BBQ is the place to be! I can’t wait to go back for another round of their amazing chicken and poutiiiiine!

For non-spicy or less spicy version, do let the service staff know your spice tolerance when ordering. For first timers to this restaurant, ask the service staff for recommendations. The interior is clean and washrooms are clean too. Do note that the menu is different from the mount royal outlet and this outlet serves fried chicken only. Oh and do factor in some preparation time as it's fried fresh after order.“

“I had the bol rouge with 2 flavors, the spicy and the garlic flavor. If you choose 1 flavor, you get 3 pieces of chicken breast. You get 4 pieces of chicken breasts with 4 flavors. You can choose 2 bases such as rice, quinoa etc and up to 6-7 toppings. There is also a variety of sauces that you can select from cilantro lime, spicy mayo, to ranch. Overall, i found the taste to be ok, the flavors on the chicken were not that intense and not that noticeable. The pieces of chicken are a bit small, but you can get lucky if they give you bigger pieces!“

I find the prices super reasonable, considering that eating at a fancy restaurant now requires taking out a second mortgage, so do not begrudge the owners the reasonable price increases that inflation has caused. Even when I go there alone to pick up something just for me, I have to add an extra entire chicken or more because my kids and grandkids will steal the food from under my nose, the aroma is so mouth-watering!
