“We were looking for a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon 3 Madames Dumplings on Wellington Street. What a fantastic discovery!
We sat on the charming shaded patio and ordered the lamb & fennel dumplings, beef & onion dumplings, and the Chef's Assortment. Since I have a sensitive stomach, we chose to have everything steamed, and it was absolutely the right choice. The dumplings were impressively large, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour in every bite.
The meal was accompanied by wonderfully sweet pickled daikon, which was a delightful surprise, and I enjoyed a refreshing iced lemon tea that paired perfectly with the food. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant is known for its handmade dumplings and generous fillings, which certainly lived up to our experience.
To top it all off, the service was warm, welcoming, and bilingual, making the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was crafted to perfection for a relaxing evening meal on the patio.
If you're in Verdun and craving authentic, satisfying dumplings, this place is an absolute gem. The steamed lamb & fennel dumplings alone are worth the visit! We will definitely be back!“

“I had the flank beef pho and chicken imperial rolls and they were both delicious. I appreciated that the pho didn't taste like it was loaded with sodium. I took the small size of the pho and it was quite filling. I didn't have to wait long for the food. The restaurant is quite small and can fit only three tables but makes for a more intimate setup. I didn't see any restrooms.“

“I will still write " yes " because I want to encourage local businesses. I am happy that you decided to be a part of Too Good To Go to fight against food waste. But when I pick up japanese food that's supposed to have a 42 $ value, I expect to get japanese food, and I expect a 42$ value. 2 chicken broth soups with dumplings, and 2 bowls of rice with curry sauce and small frozen eggrolls aren't japanese ( except for the curry sauce ... ) and aren't a value of 42$. I feel cheated.“

“What a nice unassuming place! The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. Dimming the lights a little and some background music might have been nice for atmosphere, but that's a minor complaint. Great find for a delicious meal.“

“Holy moly the pulled noodles here are so good. I know it's far from the popular areas to dine in Montreal but you won't be disappointed. Prices were reasonable, friendly staff and amazing food. Also had sushi while my wife had a poke bowl. Everyone was extremely happy with what they got.

Gf thought the tom yum was okay. Egg rolls are standard lettuce filling. Won ton soup was great and chow mein satisfying even if it’s not the best I’ve had.
Service was great! Good unassuming neighbourhood spot.“

“Hands down, without a doubt or competition, simultaneously one of my favorite meals and most memorable dining experiences I had during my short work trip to Montreal.
When I searched up “Korean food in Montreal” during my intense craving for warm, comforting, asian food in a new city, this place popped up on multiple lists, recommendations, and Google Maps. After a long day and a light stroll through Old Montreal, I finally had the chance to(and was determined to) come here on Friday evening. I was kind of concerned that I wasn’t going to get in because 1) I’ve had multiple occasions of restaurants turning me away well before their closing time in Montreal (Which is still a mystery I’m) trying to solve 🤣😅, and 2) Well, it’s Friday night! Luckily, I was able to get in after a short 5-minute wait, and although I was a lone wolf and would be perfectly content with being tucked away in the corner with a small table to myself, the (who I later found out to be) Owner ended up seating me in a big table by myself- felt kind of guilty, but also so kind!
The drinks and the food came out very quickly, I wont touch on the beer, because beer is beer lol, but the Spicy Pork Grill….first of all, the HUGE portion that only came out to $21?! In this economy? Secondly, the intense sizzling sound as the dish came out of the kitchen was enough to claim its #1 spot, but above all - the rich marinade without being too salty, the onions that cut through and help balance the fattiness of the pork, the perfectly cooked warm and fluffy rice…I honestly can conjure up the taste and how the dish made me feel just through writing this review. I had intended to pack 1/2 of it to go for my hotel room later, I promise, I did. I ended up walking out with a full and satisfying belly and a completely empty plate 🫣🤣
When I was paying, I chatted with the owner (well, the daughter of the owner), who told me how she used to live in Vancouver (I’m visiting from Vancouver), and just generally a bit about the history of the place. I feel such warmth and comfort from the food and hospitality - which, when you’re in a city/ place for the first time, is truly an irreplaceable feeling.

“A friend and I just spent 5 days in the city and came upon this amazing place! Mohammad, David, Andrea, Carla and Shaun, along with the rest of the staff, we're nothing short of wonderful. The hospitality, customer service, quality of cocktails and food were top knotch and kept us coming back! Strongly recommend sitting at the bar. Amazing vibe, all around. Tried the gyoza, tuna tartare, French toast, and Duck confit ragu. Mouth watering!“

“The best for your bang, their $10 chicken katsu combo is a steal for a food court meal. The service is usually pretty fast and their meals come with a complementary soup (wonton or miso). Their portion sizes are huge!!! I often have a hard time finishing everything. That being said, don't expect the best customer service, they're curt and a little cold but that's how they keep churning out food at a fast pace. I always come here after classes, since it's so close to McGill.
Update: I returned back to Sushi Momoyama after graduating from McGill and the food still tastes great! The chicken katsu is $15 after tax, not too shabby for mall prices. Lots of people took the poke bowls, so I might need to try that for next time!“

“My wife and I love this place - but we always choose flavour over ambience. This is a no-frills place. The dishes are around $15, but you'll struggle to finish. A great range of authentic Chinese dishes. My wife's favorite is the pickled cabbage and pork. Mine is the 5-spice beef soup. If you can handle chili's, they offer a chili-oil; garlic and coriander are common toppings to these dishes.“

“I’m from LA and was visiting Montreal for a trip and was REALLY craving some comfort Chinese food. I came across this place and was definitely not disappointed. Ordered a selection of everything but the fried fish, egg rolls, spicy fried pork, and general tsao chicken is a must.
Service was fast and efficient and all of the workers were very friendly. Everything about this place reminded me of the classic Cantonese restaurants in LA and will definitely be bookmarking this place for the next time I visit.“

“My family and I stopped here for Robert on our way to a movie. We had 40 minutes before show time and wanted an actual meal rather than fast food. This place did not disappoint. All four meals came straight from the stove hot to the table and it was all delicious. We ordered sweet and sour seafood, general too chicken, stir fried rice with shrimp, and a soup dish with beef and noodles. We ate it before I could get a photo, but it was beautiful too. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a good meal.“

“They have 2 options: AYCE & à la carte. We took AYCE, more options and Good pricing. servers were very nice and helpful. Food was rlly good, fresh and hottt. They have a salad bar and dessert, not much options for those but they were still good. All i can say is that we devoured the food:), will be backk!“
