“Best bartender ever I was traveling alone through Montreal and was recommended this place. I sat at the bar and had one of the best dinners of my life. I’m only 29 so my palette may not be all there yet but this dinner was off the hook. Mac n cheese was divine to put it simply. Filet mignon went crazy with the red wine sauce. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesy whipped potatoes with the steak. Down a bottle of cab throughout the meal. Better than any other restaurant in Montreal.“

“The food was exceptional, EVERY bite was heavenly and you can tell that a lot of love, thought and great cooking is put into every dish served. BUT the real star was our server Kalina (forgive me if I spelled this wrong) she has curly hair, and adorable accent and she made sure every moment in there, we felt special, attended to, and heard. “My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“Je tiens a préciser que nous avons eu de manière générale une expérience incroyable et je recommande fortement ce restaurant. Seulement nos 35 premières minutes n'ont pas été très agréables : Pour commencer nous avons attendu 25 mins que notre table soit prête. Pour un temps aussi long, sachant qu' il est spécifié que nous devons absolument arriver dans les 15 minutes suivant notre réservation, il aurait été apprécié de nous proposer une petite compensation tel un verre en attendant. De plus, un serveur est venu nous proposer du champagne, qui n'était pas inclus dans notre accord mets et vin. Nous avons eu le sentiment que nous étions obligés de le prendre et avons accepté a contre cœur. Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise quand nous avons vu que que le premier verre de notre accord était de nouveau un champagne ! Résultat, cette erreur de communication et pression nous a ajouté +100$ non utiles sur notre facture avec un ressenti qu'on cherchait naturellement a augmenter notre facture. Nous recommandons donc de ne pas choisir cette option. Heureusement le reste du repas a été tellement incroyable avec un service de haut niveau qui nous a fait oublier ce début désagréable. Notre serveuse était aux petits soins avec de nombreuses attentions, beaucoup d'expériences et animations, la nourriture exquise, mon conjoint a une petite bouteille huile au homard pour son anniversaire, et nous avons même pu faire un tour des cuisines et rencontrer le chef Jérôme Ferrer ! Notre opinion serait de faire la quantité du plat un peu plus importante tellement cela était bon. Mise a part le champagne je recommande fortement pour le passionnes de restauration gastronomique ! Comptez environ 800$ pour 2 personnes (TTC et service, hors champagne) Merci !“

“One of my favorite hotels ever!! Right in the heart of old Montreal, and a short walk to everything that Old Montreal has to offer. It sits on a beautiful cobblestone street, and is in an old, historic building. The rooms were beautiful, with windows that open to let in some great fresh air. I loved their little breakfast, which consisted of different breads each day, spread, cheese, and some cold pressed local juice. Just a top notch experience, and affordable too!“

ITHQ has a nice location and staff was very welcoming.

The magret de canard was what you would expect of the dish. We had turbot with couscous and strawberries, which I found a bit too sofistaced. I think that real talent shows when you can work with a limited number of ingredients.

“The service in general was good. We didn't wait too long between our dishes, however we had to ask for the bread and butter. We tested the Montreal menu at the table. The plates were tasty but the portions were small. The menu proposed for Montréal à table did not include dessert. Although it could be added, it would have been a nice addition to incorporate it directly.“

“Such a hidden gem!! Waiter was great and the food and service was outstanding. We ended up having the Venison pot-au-feu style, which was this delicious deer with potatoes and veggies in a broth. We told the waiter that I love Pino Noir and so we ended up with a bottle of the Morgon. Will definitely come back next time we visit Montreal.“

“The food was Excellent! Much better than expected. The place was a bit loud and there were a lot of kids but that can be attributed to the time of year. The prices were also very good, low for the quality of the food. Lots of space between the tables also meant you had privacy for conversations, if you could be heard above the children. On a different night it would have been quite romantic. The only downside was the service which was indifferent. Drink refills were non-existent and if you wanted something you had to get up from your table and go find a staffer. I believe we went a full 20 minutes without seeing any staff in the dining room. The diners were all looking around, confused. I believe that this night the staff were focused on a large group in a separate room but that doesn't change the fact that we all are paying customers and expect the same service. With even a modicum of service this would have been a five star review. The food was just that good.“
