“We had Iranian brunch here and it was a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very authentic, exactly what you expect from a proper Persian brunch. Portions were generous and everything tasted homemade. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a nice spot if you’re craving Iranian food, especially for brunch. Highly recommended.“

“Was in Montreal for my anniversary and a friend recommended Taverne Sur Le Square and it did not disappoint. I had the house Mac and cheese and I will say this was the best version I've ever had. The cacio e pepe brussel sprouts was also delicious. Service was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and recommend a visit to my friends and family.

“Incredible gluten free bakery! I've never had a better gluten free croissant. Had a chocolate croissant and a spinach egg and cheese croissant sandwich and they were both delicious. My friend who is not gluten free even said she could not tell that it was all gluten free it was so good.“

“Je me réveille et je pense encore à mon souper d’hier soir. Je n’ai qu’une envie c’est de retourner pour tout goûter. Ce restaurant est l’un de mes meilleurs restos à vie. Nous étions 7 et tous avons été ravis de nos assiettes. Belles, bonnes, bonnes portions, c’était une explosion de bonheur en bouche. “The atmosphere is lovely, but that’s not why you come here. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it’s easily one of the best gluten-free bakeries in Canada. As a celiac, you know a place is special when you feel the need to ask three times—mid-bite—“This is gluten-free, right?” and for a moment remember what it was like to eat a real french croissant. The other great thing is, the prices here you are not getting. gauged for being a Celiac.Andrea was also amazing customer service, i thought she owned the place cause she went out of her way to help us and making a long time customer.“

Beautiful steamie and poutine with very dark gravy was served to me in a very reasonable amount of time. Service was fine. No idea how old this place is but it's definitely old. Wish them continued longevity.“

“I visited from the Greater Toronto Area and loved this bakery tucked away around Jean-Talon Market. The baked goods for the day are posted online. I got a baguette, half a brioche, and an almond croissant. The baguette was so good that I ate it in one sitting. I regret not buying another baguette. Prices here are also cheaper than in Jean-Talon Market. Loved it and can’t wait to try more when I come back to Montreal!“

Perfect for a Low FODMAP diet!! My husband (who can eat anything, no dietary restrictions) was also super impressed with the delicious tastes and textures. After visiting over 100 coffee, pastry and bakery shops in the last 16 days in Toronto and Montreal, this was by faaaaaaar the absolute BEST!! My personal favorite: Paris-Brest!!! How many desserts can you try in 3 days?!? Lots! It's a good thing we were only near this bakery for a limited time or my waist line would have been in serious trouble. Yummy!!! 😋“
