“The food is always good. They have lots of vegan options and the coffee is one of the best around. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Just ask what is vegan as some items contain dairy and they add meat into their menu. This restaurant is no longer vegetarian but there is something for everyone there. “Delicious meal - green beans were not overcooked or chewy. Eggplant dip and tzatziki were excellent, as were the lamb chops and spanikopitas. Service was fine - they managed to accommodate us even though we arrived quite early for our reservation“

“It's our 1st time here, we came to celebrate our 36yr wedding anniversary, we definitely came to the right place. The mixed seafood platter was to die for! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“

“I whole-heartedly recommend Mama C in Montreal's Vieux Port. The quality of everything that is presented here (the attention to detail in the decor, the atmosphere, the service, the creativity of the platings and recipes, the deliciousness of every dish, the many options available, the quantity of each portion and so much more) is incredibly high. We loved every dish, individual portions and shared ones, and we felt at home in a cozy atmosphere with a very attentive staff. Top notch! It is not inexpensive but it is absolutely worth it. “Excellent food, great mocktails, and outstanding value. The chicken skewer was juicy, perfectly seasoned, piping hot, and topped with a tangy, savoury sauce. The fries were incredibly crispy and perfect with the rich, delicious tzatziki. The rice was flavourful and addictive, and the salad was fresh.
After a disappointing meal at another Old Port restaurant that cost three times as much for tiny portions and mediocre food, this place completely saved our night.
A special shoutout to Jade, our server. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely down-to-earth. She made sure my wife received baklava for her birthday, graciously comped a mocktail that wasn’t to our taste, and even ran after me when I forgot my bag. Exceptional service from start to finish!“

“Village Grec has been our go-to Greek restaurant for years. We were there tonight and the food was fresh and tasty but the prices have become outrageous. Every time we go, the prices increase substantially. I know prices are up everywhere, but this is ridiculous. We will probably go elsewhere next time we have a craving for Greek food.“

“Got a nice spread of food here a few days ago on Uber Eats. Everything was packed well, I’m sure it would’ve been better in person. The chicken and pork gyro pita stood especially for value, the Calamari were solid, however the Greek potatoes, Kopanisti, Tzatziki and Horiatiki left a lot to be desired flavor and authenticity-wise.“

This time we'd given without hesitation 6 stars for the overall quality and especially for the combo Food/Service/Atmosphere if it were an option. - premises renovated, logically crowded, especially on week-ends but everything is perfectly managed and taken care of; - previous overall already 5 stars dinner experience even better now; - been taken care personnally by the delightful Ayu and her teammates; - even the owner Spiro honoured us with his touching presence to pay his respects on this birthday occasion; - and so on, and so on... One cannot ask for more than that... Previously: Overall, an absolutely delightful dinner experience on the occasion of wife's birthday (20+ years together). We enjoyed everything: the meal quality & freshness, the ambience, the value for the price, etc. The service was top quality (greatly improved from an already high quality one a year ago). We’d love to visit again. We'd highly recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Psst! A friendly tip for an optimal dinner experience like ours: do try to obtain to be taken care by the waitress named Ayu who was simply amazing, friendly and caring, she’ll most certainly make you feel cozy and at home (but an improved one, especially the cuisine and the service) …“

The Greek salad and the green salad were both excellent

The main problem is that the Restaurant is a bring your own wine type
Overall, it deserves 4.6 stars“
