The guava moscow mule is a must try! The service was amazing too. Everyone was so friendly and attentive—they really made us feel at home. The warm churros are served with hot fudge and caramel… absolutely delicious. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food, great drinks, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe, definitely give Juncal a try!“

“So, last night I needed to have a business meeting with a business partner that wanted to stay out of downtown after working all day in the city. We chose Hangry Kitchen, just 6 minutes from downtown. So much that I could say about the meal. But I will summarize it. I asked if I could get a side of tomato juice for my beer. (Yeah beer and tomato juice is amazing). They did not have any canned or bottled tomato juice. THEY JUICED SOME TOMATOS! The rest of the meal was just as memorable. They have chefs from JWU and they made every single item we ordered scrumptious! Daniel was our server and he was an absolute delight! He was a great guide through the menu and was such a sweetheart! It’s a small, intimate spot that’s always clean, with a friendly staff that makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. What really sets this place apart is the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. The bread is fresh from local bakeries, and everything tastes like it was carefully selected with real intention. I had the lamb special with Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, and a fig glaze, and it was outstanding. My wife had the sweet potato mascarpone ravioli topped with pancetta and garlic in a brown butter sauce, and it was unbelievable. Cucina 38 just gets it right. Fast forward to this weekend I suggested to my brother and others come here to kick off his bachelor party weekend and let me tell you this is THE SPOT!!! The wings and tenders were huge and the perfect balance of crispy and tender. Fries seasoned incredibly well. Get the honey bird sauce too. You won’t be disappointed. “Another day, another chance for more tacos with the RI Food Fight's TacoMania. This time we started with Diego's. As it was a Saturday, no tables were available from reservations but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. The space is open, dark. A blend of Mexican homage and industrial brick. An open kitchen gives you the chance to watch your meal be prepared in full view. Our bartender, Greer was super friendly and balanced attentiveness. She is detail oriented and was very accommodating. She quickly took care of our drinks and got our food order in ASAP. They offered a limited menu for TacoMania and I chose the carne option. It came out in a crunchy blue corn tortilla. After a squeeze of lime, I dug in. The crunch was everything you wanted it to be and more. The beef with queso fundido made this a slight messy but overall delicious taco. We got the cornbread souffle to share and it was outstanding. The souffle itself was savory and very corn forward, as opposed to the sweeter cornbread you see in the south. They add a touch of something sweet to balance it out. My friend had the shrimp chimichirri tacos and they said they were a 10/10. So glad to find another tasty spot in the TacoMania trail!“
