“Came here for the second time this week because I couldn’t get enough after the first time the food was phenomenal the service I could not ask for any better. They literally make you feel like you’re at home with family. Such a good experience if you’re looking for a Chinese restaurant I cannot recommend them anymore. You will not be dissatisfied. “I have run multiple beer & wine shops, and Christy's Liquors is a top notch establishment. I have been there a few times now and every time has been an awesome experience. The staff is very personable and knowledgeable. The selection of liquor, wines, beers, and beverages is vast and constantly cycling in new products. I need to also shoutout Jay, he smoothly runs this ship and his vast knowledge of the product is amazing. Thanks y'all for a great experience and I will most definitely be back!“

“Best, most authentic Chinese food in RI: I know whereof I speak, we moved here from Flushing, Queens. Waited a long time before we found this place. I've had so many native Rhode Islanders recommend someplace as "the best Chinese food" only to be really puzzled as to what they feel constitutes actual Chinese food. This place is amazing, always packed but the order is always dead on. These are the hardest working folks I have seen in a long time - I would patronize even if the food was not as fantastic as it is. Word to the wise: if you are complaining about the wait then think about that for a minute: why is there a wait? Because the food is worth waiting for.“

“An older, exceptionally pleasant couple are the new owners of this restaurant. I wasn’t overly pleased with the food from the previous owner but new owners are exceptionally inviting and provided the Best local Chinese food I have had in a long time. I walked in and was immediately greeted By the owner and his wife. They genuinely wanted to be sure that my order was 100% to my liking and if I had any concerns to please contact him right away. “I was here as part of a challenge to fine the best crab rangoon in Rhode Island. The Islander and Han Palace were the two that people were most passionate about. My first trip was to Islander

The inside of the Islander is gorgeous, ornate decorations tastefully spaced to create texture and visual appeal. The mother and daughter duo who served us were long time employees of the business. I was told that they had three generations of their family work as front of house staff there. Most of the employees were there for the long haul, a sign if thoughtful and caring ownership. A foreshadowing to when I met the owner later.

We ordered the crab rangoon and our server mentioned she would send out a scallion pancake and some salt and pepper spicy wings for us to try. We didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. The appetizers all looked beautiful and we couldn't wait to try them.

The rangoon were delicious. Creamy, a nice proportion of kani with a hint of onion in the background. What I really liked about them was the purse shape. The fried edges had the kind of crispiness that shattered when you bit into it.

The scallion pancakes were flaky and tasty. The wings were a good kind of heat, some spice but it never overwhelmed. The banana peppers added a little acidity that took it over the top.

And when we thought that was all, two more dishes came out! The Islander fried rice and the Peking Beef. Both were great but my favorite of the two was the beef. The beef was so tender, the sauce was savory, meaty and loaded with veggies like baby bok choy, snow peas and baby corn.

At this point, Simon the owner came by and spoke to our table. I had so many questions for him and he was kind enough to answer all of them. I couldn't thank him enough for his kindness and generosity. He was genuinely so sweet. He even sent us home with another order of rangoon and the house wings.

I hadn't been to many restaurants in this part of Warwick but I highly recommend you make the trip to come and dine here. Great food, incredible people, fantastic atmosphere. 10/10“

“We’ve ordered delivery from here three times now, we live pretty close by. Each time the food comes pretty quickly and is very hot and fresh. Some of the best crispy chicken wings I’ve ever tried. Excellent beef teriyaki, good crab rangoon, and I’ve gotten the beef with garlic sauce twice now because it was so good. Portions are pretty big as well!“
