“Food was excellent. Service was slow and inattentive. It was a quiet time in the restaurant and the soup and salad arrived quickly but the entrees took a long time. And the waiter never returned to take our credit card - we had to pay at the bar. Will try it again when it is busier“

“Had a really great experience here. The food was amazing, everything we ordered was full of flavor and really stands out when it comes to Japanese fusion!
Luis at the bar was awesome too. Great service, very attentive, and you can tell he really knows his stuff when it comes to making drinks. He gave us some great recommendations and made the whole experience even better.

“Finally ate at Rhody Roots last night and the only thing i’m disappointed at is that we haven’t gone in and tried their food sooner. They were so accommodating, our server was fantastic,and everything we ate was amazing!! 10/10 100% recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

“A group of 4 of us went last night for my husband’s birthday. We randomly found them online and figured we would give them a try because the menu looked unique with lots of different options. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, the drinks were great, our server Cookie was great and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back.“

“I love going to Jacky’s at Waterplace because it’s a short walk from work and a perfect spot if it’s sunny out to sit inside. I always get their Bean Curd (tofu) in General Tso’s sauce. It’s extremely well prepared, with a very thin batter and deep fried. I wish I knew how to make it at home. Their lunch special comes with miso soup or side salad (with very good carrot ginger dressing) and is served with either white, brown, or fried rice and broccoli. No substitutions are allowed but excellent lunch at $12 (2026).“

“Amazing sushi spot with a mostly take out business and a few small dine in tables. Great prices, high quality ingredients, friendly and super helpful staff! Loved every item I got! Dont want to recommend cause i dont want it to blow up but if tou are in the area and want sushi 100% go here! I will be back!“

“Love Pokeworks Providence, I think I’ve gone every single week at least once since they’ve opened! I think I’ve tried every combination of the menu, and have several Favorites and several custom blended favorite! My only suggestion can I buy the dressings? I would love to use them at home for my own marinades and and not is nearly as special salads!!! Having the dressing would not stop me from coming to Pokeworks at least once a week, but I would feel as if I’m eating healthier at home, and I would love to have a little pokey works in my kitchen! Need someone to test market this idea on? I am the one !!!!!!“

“I freaking love Sushi Cafe. Out of the entire food court, this is the spot. The sushi is literally so delicious (at least the vegetarian ones- I always get sweet potato and avocado), better than some of the veggie sushi that you might get at a fancy restaurant. The family that runs it is the sweetest, the woman with the bob recognizes me and remembers my order every time. I will always go to Sushi Cafe and bring all my friends.“

“Excellent food & service. Pho soup was excellent! Beef & shrimp vermicelli was so good! We also had mint spring rolls & they were delicious with such a wonderful peanut sauce. Mango sticky rice was just so perfectly sweet enough & the mango was ripe to perfection. I had strawberry refresher drink & added my own vodka. It's BYOB. My husband had Jasmine tea & the serving display was just beautiful! I would highly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing, restaurant is so cozy & beautiful and it's located in the heart of wonderful Pawtuxet Village in Cranston RI.“
